@@BrendanTietz I see man, I was just asking because I follow a lot of lifters that I like seeing them training, and honestly I love watching your lifts, especially your deadlift
I definitely prefer a pace, helps tremendously with better sets and consistency. Ironically I found resetting and trying to be “perfect” every rep made my reps worse and harder. However notice how I deload the weight, it’s very controlled and I stay extremely locked in! This is key
I know you're not asking me, but your low back may be your weakest point on these lifts and need more hypertrophy work to catch up with the rest of your posterior chain.
All the time! However if it’s more intense than other muscles often than it’s a sign you are using the back too much and probably also lacking bracing. The point above I agree with to an extent as well. If it’s weak and undertrained it will give out quickly
Thanks for the replies dudes. I was asking because I do get pumps, however minor ones IF I do my preparation properly (bracing, some core warmup work etc). No actual issue here, I was just wondering how you feel and what you experience. Thanks once again :)
@@neznam1337 I generally feel squats in my low back more than deadlifts tbh lol mainly cuz I bias extension. Although I get a ton of leg activation too.
So it depends which package you got! 1. Join the Facebook group called “prime strength coaching” where anyone can ask questions as well as post videos! Now I can’t necessarily respond to everything but Especially now while it’s new I should get to the good ones as well as Ill be posting a ton of tips! Now if you got the elite package ($60) you can send 1 video and as many questions as you want for the Q&A where I answer all of them weekly!! I send out those videos for everyone to watch and the old ones are on the website. We also have the program breakdowns as well as the video database with a ton of private videos!
Coach Kristin’s pause deadlifts looks like she’s on the smith machine, perfect form
Thank you! Right?? She has extremely consistent conventional pulls in such a beautiful way
The warm up section sounds almost like your style of Wenning Warm Ups. The part about doing rows, RDLs, etc that closely mimic the main movement.
I haven’t seen his stuff in depth but if he’s preaching reduced variations I completely agree!
These are brilliant tips
Beastly session, keep up the grind!
Thank you!! Always will!
8:00 great song and great video, beast!
Hahahaha that was Andrew’s music! And thank you!!

Thoughts on resetting between each rep of deadlift sets? I noticed you do the set pretty quickly and don't let the weight rest on the ground for long

Do you get low back pumps when squatting/deadlifting? If so, how intense are they?
