I’m so happy for you guys! I had my miracle baby after 20 years of infertility. We did IUI 9 times. Miscarriages, bed rest, gestational diabetes, vomiting the whole pregnancy,you name it. My labor was 63 hours trying to have her natural. I was induced because I have severe claustrophobia so I was terrified of the OR and not being able to move. Finally after 59 hours without epidural I had 2 epidurals and because I only dilated 3cm ending having an emergency C section that open and have complications during recovery. The only thing it matters is that I finally have my adorable baby and I cry everyday because I can’t believe it. I’m telling you my story so you don’t feel that bad for what happened to you. You are amazing.
I can’t EVEN imagine walking through a parking lot and taking a car ride at 10 and pushing. OMG! I have had 4 children and I hurt just hearing that 😩. Congratulations on your little blessing! You did outstanding! ❤️👍🏽 (Navy Corpsman vet who worked L and D/OB back in the day 😊)

A great L&D Nurse makes all the difference! I’ve been very blessed with most of my deliveries! After 5 VERY difficult pregnancies and 6 babies I have SO much respect for L&D Nurses!!
Guys, I had my first child with forceps, 44 years ago. As I am sure that you are, I am thankful that method was available. My son was stuck between my hip bones due to my narrow hips and his shoulder size. After having a spinal, my doctor cut me rather than waiting for a tear. Wish they had done that for you Neisha. My healing was tough but not anything like you. But as you know, it is all worth it. You have a beautiful baby. ❤️

This is the reason I opted for a stress free c-section to avoid all this type of craziness! You never know what could happen. I loved every min of my c-section and after care.

How wonderful to have a healthy baby. Your birth story is a lot like mine but I was in the hospital the whole time and 12 hrs. pushing labor. Videos about the delivery and then videos about afterward is a great idea for first time moms. It always helps to have someplace to go when you have issues with your baby. Sometimes, just knowing you are not alone is really helpful. A first time mom has a lot of anxiety with the whole process.
Congratulations. Being present for the birth of child or children with multiple births is a really special treat. It was for me 41 years ago. My wife was in labor for close to 10 hours. She was thankful for the epidural prior to birth.
Congratulations to both of you, I’ve had 3 children, first born in the 80’s, 2nd in the 90’s and the 3rd in 2001, and never, not once did the doctor encourage skin to skin contact, in fact I never new what it was until I saw a commercial of a mom & baby bonding like that, when I first saw it I thought it was gross, I never knew it was essential to the baby’s health. Thanks for sharing your story, even though it brought back all the painful memories, in a good way of course (I could feel your pain) we are blessed that the pain goes away immediately after giving birth, the labor pain anyway, my son was aided by forceps and I was cut all the way into my butt cheek, and trust me, that’s a different kind of pain. I am so sorry for your first experience in birth. I’ve never heard anything like it. Thank goodness you’re in the medical field so had an understanding of what should happen. I’ve had three and my longest delivery was six hours total so I can’t imagine what you went through as it sounds like a horrible time. You have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy.

I’ve been excited to hear your experience especially with both of your backgrounds. I’ve had 3 kids and 2/3 didn’t not go how I had planned. It’s so hard when that happens but as long as baby and mom are good it is what it is. Congrats! He’s perfect and beautiful!
This sounds so similar to the birth of my first. I too vomited through 3 hrs of pushing, finally ending with a forceps delivery, I had multiple tears and a surgery to repair things, a recovery that took over 3 months. Since that time (20 years ago), she has ALWAYS operated on her own time schedule!
Congrats on your baby boy! Our little guy is also an IVF baby and he was our only embryo as well! I’m so sorry your birth was so difficult. Congratulations! What a wonderful thing bringing a life into this world! My last child I was in labor( from water breaking to delivery) for a little over an hour! I arrived at the hospital dilated to 5 went up the elevator 2 floors , got on a gown and was at a ten! Pushed three times and she was here! No doctor, the nurse had turned to get on fresh gloves and she just fell out! I wish I would have had all three natural! Best experience ever!
After watching your most recent video about BB I wanted to see this one. It's so cool to hear you mention The Farm and Ina May. I'm 65 and way back in the 1970s I had a midwife from The Farm deliver two of my 4 kids at home. The 1970s was not friendly to the natural birth idea but I've always been so glad I did it that way. Love your content, love your family... mean it.❤

I’ve had three and my longest delivery was six hours total so I can’t imagine what you went through as it sounds like a horrible time. You have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy.

I’ve been excited to hear your experience especially with both of your backgrounds. I’ve had 3 kids and 2/3 didn’t not go how I had planned. It’s so hard when that happens but as long as baby and mom are good it is what it is. Congrats! He’s perfect and beautiful!

This sounds so similar to the birth of my first. I too vomited through 3 hrs of pushing, finally ending with a forceps delivery, I had multiple tears and a surgery to repair things, a recovery that took over 3 months. Since that time (20 years ago), she has ALWAYS operated on her own time schedule!

Congrats on your baby boy! Our little guy is also an IVF baby and he was our only embryo as well! I’m so sorry your birth was so difficult. I’m also a L&D nurse who didn’t have the natural birth we wanted (41+ week 24 + hr induction). Nurse curse. All in all though, healthy baby and the best thing in the world. Enjoy your miracle!!! 👶🏻 💚
Congratulations! What a wonderful thing bringing a life into this world! My last child I was in labor( from water breaking to delivery) for a little over an hour! I arrived at the hospital dilated to 5 went up the elevator 2 floors , got on a gown and was at a ten! Pushed three times and she was here! No doctor, the nurse had turned to get on fresh gloves and she just fell out! I wish I would have had all three natural! Best experience ever!

After watching your most recent video about BB I wanted to see this one. It's so cool to hear you mention The Farm and Ina May. I'm 65 and way back in the 1970s I had a midwife from The Farm deliver two of my 4 kids at home. The 1970s was not friendly to the natural birth idea but I've always been so glad I did it that way. Love your content, love your family... mean it.❤
