I’M GOING TO THE OLYMPIC GAMES

- This past week has been surreal, had a great time at my national championship 10,000m, where I lost an epic battle right at the end with my good friend @andrewalexaander.
Then I got the official news that I’m going to Paris to fulfill a dream that was born over a decade ago. The dream of being an Olympian. The road was far from perfect, but damn did a lot of people make the ride fun.
Too many people to tag- but obviously thankful to every friend, family member, teammate, coach, physio, and therapist that has been there throughout the years.
Jobs not finished.

There's me reading the title and going 'he's qualified for the 10k in the Olympics I thought he was a marathon runner' for context I've watched a couple of your vids before but it took me a few minutes into the video to realise it was the marathon you qualified for 😂
My bad, I am not close to fast enough to qualify in the 10k 😅🤣
So this was the Canadian Champs but not the Olympic selection race?

Hmmm, at the end of that race I saw the eventual winner sprint to the finish while moving a lane or two to the right… in Rory’s direction! Isn’t that illegal or dirty? It really looked like he was getting in Rory’s way… maybe I’m wrong? Did anyone else see that? Anyways, great job Rory!! You are going to the Olympics and that is amazing!!🤙
Yup… guy that wins starts the final 100 meters in the left part of lane 1, he crosses the finish line in lane 3!!! That’s crazy.
