i love these types of pods when they get off topic like 80% of time, i already listened to this but i gotta lock in rewatch on youtube. also jomi is so valid for YJ season five!
Jomi's rant towards the end has been a long time coming. Van and Charles are constantly roasting, and talking over him. I know they're all friends, and it's all in fun, but sometimes I'm like "Damn! let that brother breathe".
Especially after Misha Green dropped what the U.S looked like in the time jump! That and the cousin/ half-sister is the big bad! Also recast Michael K Williams with Clifton Powell
I also agree with Van on just having the Majors conversation. They truly missed the opportunity to have an actual needle moving conversation. The rest is just your typical fandom conversation. Not a bad thing but certainly not pushing the conversation forward in any nuanced way.
FOR CHARLES. Just As a field worker in Kansas, who has a lot of experience working in corn fields. Cornsweat is a real ass phenomenon. The humidity around the plants from transpiration and other climate interactions spikes up like crazy. Working in a corn field is one of the worst conditions. It’s sweaty and sharp. Don’t like paper cuts? Corn leaf cutting is definitely worse, and you’ll get it all over your body.
When Jomi was trying to describe the nature of Agent Carter, I was thinking of Fringe as a comparison. Investigating weird sciencey occurrences, not so much super hero action. And then Van brings up Fringe! And for Jomi, one of the reasons I loved AoS is because it felt like Fringe!
Doughnuts have been notoriously related to fat people in pop culture obvs most famously the Simpsons homer and the cop forgot his name are known to love and eat doughnuts. So yes can it is a bad thing to say you look like u ate a doughnut. But I still loved you said it cause that segment was hilarious
Agent Carter and Fringe were legitimately excellent shows. Shows that I would bring back are Tron:Uprising from Disney XD (more compelling than the reboot movie imo) and Almost Human on Fox starring Karl Urban and Michael Ealy.
14:37 I agree LC could use some chemistry work and tightening of story. But I was bummed it was cancelled. Lovecraft is tough to do well and long form. Perhaps if they have a limited run.
Van is letting this Dark Cowboy persona go to his head a little too much. You can't be fat and shaming folks for eating donuts, man. FYI, Charles is just weird. In that Batman episode, Amanda Waller collected Bruce Wayne's DNA from blood samples found around Gotham and then used that with Terry's parents.
Jomi I'm a million times with you on young justice they did that time jump too fast let's us live with these characters. I haven't even finish the new season because it's a bunchbof new people I don't give af about
Did a mysterious white woman voice appear during donut gate ☠️ & You can only say that to someone when you want them to know you think they've been gaining weight. That was crazy 😂😂
RoP was never meant to be GOT and lots of people watched and just recently rewatched it It was #1 on the streaming charts recently and it’s one of house of R most watched things
Halo could've worked. The show runners tried to make to many tweaks, like truly odd decisions. They didn't trust the tried an true recipe. I understand live action adaptation requires tweaks but they got carried away.
Tell me why no one picked titans or doom patrol also yes more love and sex needs to be in my comic book movies many viewers aren't 12 or kids like sexy a black cat series
Dark knight rises is hot ass. It was bad when it came out and got worse with time. I remember thinking Begins was boring as a kid and have appreciated it more as time has gone by.
They already gave Peggy Carter a sequel show, What If…., I’ve never seen an anthology with this many recurring characters nd plotlines😭😭 except probably American horror story, nd we all know how that went
Jokes aside though, I’ve had my fill of Peggy Carter. They’ve tried hard enough to push her, even more than their ACTUAL Captain America. W/ the next season of What If…. Most likely focusing on her again, i think it’s only right if she takes a backseat for a while
i love these types of pods when they get off topic like 80% of time, i already listened to this but i gotta lock in rewatch on youtube. also jomi is so valid for YJ season five!
Donut comment was out of pocket, Van....🤦
Nah man…… the Josh Giddey bar took me all the way out 🤣🤣🤣
Agent Carter was highly underrated. Surprise face when chuck didn't want to even consider it
Jomi's rant towards the end has been a long time coming. Van and Charles are constantly roasting, and talking over him. I know they're all friends, and it's all in fun, but sometimes I'm like "Damn! let that brother breathe".
Well said. They rag on him a little too much (Van especially)
He went on a fair rant and Van was on his phone the whole time lol making his point!!!! Jomi… WE SUPPORT YOU
We’re on the same page Van! As soon as I saw this topic my mind immediately went to Lovecraft Country and Watchmen.
@@sigmabrent soon as he said Lovecraft Country I was locked in
Especially after Misha Green dropped what the U.S looked like in the time jump! That and the cousin/ half-sister is the big bad! Also recast Michael K Williams with Clifton Powell

Definitely a season two Watchmen

Van is a walking HR violation
Can't wait to tell one of my coworkers they look like they had a donut and see what reaction I get🤣
Don't get fired bruh
batman beyond was fire!

Fallout was the lone big hit in Amazon's big fantasy/sci-fi IP rush
The expanse was relatively well received
@@Fog_raw I was referring to Amazon Originals. I should have been clearer in my comment
Damn Uber driver screwing the burrito order. Damn
I cannot with the 🍩 😅
Agent Carter and Fringe were legitimately excellent shows.

Lovecraft is tough to do well and long form.
Perhaps if they have a limited run.
RIP burritos. RIP Charles toilet.
LMFAOOOO Van was off one this ep. My GOAT.
Best line "Matrix Resurrections not top 3...... ? Let's get to the show"
Fringe all the way! Yes Van, good call!
I think it’s ok to make the doughnut comment amongst friends, like this team. But an acquaintance or random coworker, not so much.
Agent Carter season 1 might be the best depiction of a powerful leading lady who is also a feminist in superhero hero media and I'm not even joking
Van was ON ONE… I
YEAH BRING BACK YOUNG JUSTICE!! SEASON 5!!
Omg van
America is about opportunity. The opportunity to find free burritos on the street!
I stole the burritos and they were damn good!
Powerless had the making of a great show. It was just before it's time. They really should bring that back.
1:07:27 is what I’d hear if someone told me I look like I just ate a donut 😢
JOMI.. for the love of GOD.. DONT BRING UP THAT SHOW NO MO. peace and love brotha. I agree with you on Young Justice tho.
Finally the boys are back
Coke baby, JLU! Respect bro, great suggestion
Spectacular Spider-Man deserves a resurrection
The Boys is your Watchmen season 2-8.
Also, Sister Night/Angela Abar had Dr Manhattan powers the whole time...
Van is the best and the most real. And why does Jomi always look like he’s over reacting to everything? 🤷🏻♂️… You guys are all still awesome.
Jomi is just animated
Charles and Jomi being wusses.
Jonathan Majors 100% deserves a second chance.
We need to collectively believe in rehabilitation.
The whole batman beyond dialogue hahahahaha
Watchmen was fun. But I think you’re right, it was a great mysterious ending.
My picks for TV shows that deserve a second chance:
Westworld
Hannibal
Raised By Wolves
Night Stalker (2005)
Jomi I'm a million times with you on young justice they did that time jump too fast let's us live with these characters. I haven't even finish the new season because it's a bunchbof new people I don't give af about
23:42 “In a very special Apt 503…”
Amanda Waller stole Terry from his Daddy lol
Donut comment was crazy 😂
You look like you had a donut is crazy lmao you can't say that 🤣
Charles looks like he's going through it. If he's lying about the food poisoning, he def has something else.
Van is wild 🍩 😂😂😂
Not a Fandom show, but The Black Donnellys had a dope first season that never had a chance
Charles gives big JD Vance vibes.
one thing that puts a wrench in resurrecting batman beyond and jlu is that kevin conroy is dead 😢 recasting would be crazy
Bring back the expanse
We need a society season two
What’s the issue with Finn Jones? Haven’t seen Iron Fist.
That intro title screen is sick - the rest of the Ringerverse pods need to step up their game.
I totally thought this pod was a setup to talk about Acolyte but to my chagrin (/delight?) it did not come up at all lol
Watchmen Season 2! More cowbell!
I feel like Van didn’t finish watching Fringe
Did a mysterious white woman voice appear during donut gate ☠️
& You can only say that to someone when you want them to know you think they've been gaining weight. That was crazy 😂😂
5 minutes in and I just gotta say Wheel of Time is good, not sure why the ringer isn't covering it.
Didnt JM's character die at the end of LCC?
Fringe was an inspired choice.
GOT is a LOTR play not the other way around. Without LOTR Game of thrones doesn’t exist.
Shut up Van 😅 we love Rings of Power lol lock in !!
Yes, there are dozens of you that love ROP
@@richardyoon4209 and the dozen of us are jumping for joy 🥲
RoP was never meant to be GOT and lots of people watched and just recently rewatched it
It was #1 on the streaming charts recently and it’s one of house of R most watched things
Watchmen with Regina King should have been renewed
Lovecraft was fire
Charles comparing RoP to GoT is not really a good one. He isn’t a LOtR fan anyway.
I liked RoP and am looking forward to watching season 2.
Rings of Power is good
Halo could've worked.
Titans was ass tho
34:35 not too much on my Rachel
Lovecraft Country was interesting, but nothing about it was really all that "great"
2nd season of Luke Cage is wack. They made him dab and it was all over
Rings of Power started slow, back half of the season was excellent.
Fringe! My man!
With Van on Love Craft Country but recast Jonathan Majors
😀
Dark knight rises is hot ass. It was bad when it came out and got worse with time. I remember thinking Begins was boring as a kid and have appreciated it more as time has gone by.
Rings of power would have been better received if LOTR came out more recently

Jomi's bottom half is as wide as the table leg 0:25 🍗🍗
I'm not mad at it.
22:35 I always thought Marvel should do this with a movie centering around the character of Rick Jones.
