Unbelievable that people just throw their scraps on the side of the road. No boxing it up, no bagging it up. Disgusting. In Oregon big fines are given for this, either to the individuals or to the apartment complex. I do enjoy seeing the the truck crunch it all up.

Here in Austria there would be no such thing. Bulky waste must be sorted and brought to the collection point. When I buy goods, I can dispose of them myself. It's just a question of character and possibilities.

If you mean skips with the term „large rubbish bins“, yes but they aren‘t as practical, good if you have a rennovation going on but not ideal if you just have a small amount of bulk waste. I know a few councils where you gotta bring your bulk waste to a communal point but that will just increase illegal dumping…Like you said, it‘s a question of possibilities, it just depends on the system the council is using but in my opinion, a bulk waste system where you have to bring the waste to them is pretty bad, what about elderly people and people without a car, how are they gonna get rid of their bulk waste?
