@Funkmasterfourtwo I wasn't gonna post this because of the mistakes but then I said hey man, this was live and the energy was incredible and the mistakes and "wrong" notes are part of it all. People wanna appear flawless but there is not one human being in the world without flaws. Maybe their flaws aren't presented on stage for all to see but no one is flawless. Besides, this was so much fun!

Shit, Jazz is all about improv and never playing the same song twice. All I can do when I hear you play is feel it.

I'll call them careful mistakes. That is where I get a lot of new style articulations from. You were in creativity mode. Juices were flowing. Your mistakes were way better than most people's intentions. You are super bad, don't ever discount that. All out inspiring. You better be still doing your thing.

WOW!!!!!! What a KILLER live performance! All 3 musicians are LOCKED into the groove, listening to each other, and they ALL have a GREAT sense of time! plus - both THE BASSIST AND DRUMMER HAVE chops out the YING-YANG! And as a guitarist for over 45 years, it's quite refreshing to see the guitarist holding down the fort FLAWLESSLY while the rhythm section just KILLS IT!!!
MINOR niggle: I didn't care for the octave effect on the bass during Teen Town, but that didn't detract from Divinity's AWESOME TECHNIQUE and CHOPS!

As musicians we hope to have a few of these moments in a career, and here you go having all of them in nine minutes and twenty eight seconds. Well done, amazing trio.

It would be difficult for me to think of three musicians in sync both individually with their instruments like two passionate lovers, and in sync with the other two band members. They each knew other each other‘s moves before they made them. Divinity Roxy, was an extraordinary surprise as the number of stand-out female bassists is a small number. The drummer and the guitarist have a more difficult talent pool in which to compete, but kudos to them; it was a real pleasure to watch and listen to the 3 of them play together.
I sat here, and felt that energy! I can't imagine how electrifying that feels like to connect with each other that way! I'm in awe....

I agree that this video is dance worthy. Divinity was acing the bass and the tone was epic. The lead guitar player was a complete lead guitar player. And you re-introduced a vocabulary word, ‘whilst”. 😂. I’m going to include that word daily.

Always wanted a slap funk oriented bassist to jam with but can only seem to find "rock" guys with a damn pick! It's "Slapping DA Byass" guys, not pickin! Great rhythm section. Much enjoyed.

Maybe it’s time to stop making a point of calling women/girl musicians “female bass players or “female drummers”, etc. Divinity is a damn fine bassist, whether woman or man. I just wish I had one of those Warwicks. 🤩
Nah man sometimes the best thing is that they're female and are just as good and better than their male counterparts.

Holy Jaco, man, I love this, and I love you. You are a baaadass! I just played with a cat who sat in with us yesterday, and I didn't know what to expect when he said that he plays for the Arizona Symphony Orchestra. I didn't think funky, but he proved me wrong. As a drummer, ya know my favorite instrument besides drums, don't ya? Sweet!
No false notes that reminds me of jams i do with my band free of all rules somethimes is great sometimes isn't but we always have fun doing it 👍
