Apparently not always very well. I have shared a mutual eye gaze with smiles etc and apparently it meant she had a fiancé.
Update: Also, that girl recently revealed she had no idea what my eye colour was, and said that she doesn't generally stare people in the eyes to find out.

DGneoseeker1 Oh god that is soo annoying when girls give the wrong message like that. There was this girl in my class and she started to sit very next to me even though there are lots of other emtpy seats, she stared at me when I look at my note book at least 10 times in every lesson and she asked stupid questions which felt like she only wanted to start a conversation with me. She smiled at everything I said, and even though she doesn't give a fuck about the people who leave the class or enter it, she always said "Hi" or "Cya" to me.
So, I kinda talked with her in a friendly way and took her phone number and I was planning on doing the first move after some late hour texting with her.
Anyway, I checked her whatsapp and I saw a picture of her with another guy. I checked her twitter, facebook etc. and found out that he is her BF -_- ..

It really does feel like that except I don't fall in love with someone while waiting for the middle finger. Unfortunately I did before learning of the boyfriend and I can't seem to get over it.
Also, I took the precaution of checking the facebook page. Unfortunately despite being with the guy for years and years she didn't think to put on it that she isn't single.
In your case the girl might actually just be a cheating bitch considering she gave you her number and everything.
In mine she's a nice girl who I'm sure wouldn't do that. Probably just gives off the signals accidentally. But god damn it, she was giving off so many of them. Either I'm delusional or she was giving off massive amounts of flirty body language and behaviour.
Not just eye contact and smiles, but getting unusually physically close to me on several occasions, being very helpful, asking me for assistance with ridiculously minor tasks, seeming to linger to talk to me, playing with her hair while talking to me and making eye contact (the nuclear option when it comes to flirting with a guy, I feel), and even touching me sometimes, though it may well have been accidental.
Oh, OH, and not only that? But do you know what one of the first things she decided to ask me was, when we were alone working together (she's a coworker)?
She asked me if I wanted kids. And didn't mention her boyfriend for MONTHS. Now she mentions him all the time like she's making up for lost time.
She's in a long distance relationship and sees him extremely infrequently, but she's not seeing other people or anything like that, so I'm stuck wondering wtf is going on. Do some people just have the wrong body language?
Maybe we both got friendzoned except the girls didn't think to make it obvious. In both cases they do seem to have genuinely liked talking to us...

You know, teacher asks you what you were doing at the weekend and you answer etc. stuff like that. Other girls have all mentioned that they were with their boyfriends at least once but she were always like " I met with my friends " or " I stayed at home and slept " ...

This is one of the most common mistakes that we make when we see someone that captures our attention. Immediately, some of us get very unrealistic with our expectations and assumptions, which leads to disappointment. Some people who are single all the time do this when they meet someone new.
And that's the point where we lose every time but never learn from it😮..

That's totally true ! If I had a girlfriend, I wouldn't care if a girl I don't know came to talk to me. I would never cheat on my girlfriend (if I had one), but just knowing that somebody I don't know wanted to talk to me just by seeing me would make my day so much better. I haven't realised that yet, so thanks, I will think about it the next time I want to talk to a girl but am too shy to do it ! :)

Yes, I actually am reading the books! It just so happens I was at my aunt's house, and she had rented the movie and asked if I had wanted to watch it! I'm a huge reader! I bought the first book for my Nook and I'm already on ch. 7. So yeah...
And I was fangirling over the actor...so that has NOTHING to do with the books since he's acting as Minho...a character from the books.
