I tried this recipe with a few changes. It turned out really tasty just like restaurant style.
Since I like spicy food, i added a tablespoon of green chilli paste which is just some green chilly salt water (my ginger garlic paste didn't have chillies in it).
Secondly I added 1/2 tea spoon of garam masala and roasted kasturi methi powder which i guess gave it the restauranty smell and taste.
Also i added a spoon of the same green chilli paste in the 2nd merinade too.
And i added colour even though the chef strongly disagreed on that but since i added green chilli paste the spice was also added along with the colour
I'm not a chef but i really love cooking. I might have done some things that a chef might not agree with but again I'm not a professional.
    Happy cooking🍴

Hello Sir, I am an absolute beginner and had tried this first ever time. Though I did use chicken masala + kali mirch, zeera, badi & choti elichi and had used an OTG instead of microwave. The chicken however, was little more charred however, was awesome inside (absolutely juicy and soft) . I followed rest steps exactly the same you mentioned. I would like to thank you to share this recepie with public for free of cost. You are a great person, and your style to let everyone know about the cooking and the history is so unique and awesome that makes a person to sit down and hear to you entirely. Thank you so much for this !!.. (I just would like to add a thing, please share the exact quantity of ingredients with us too with some reference like for 1 kg chicken how much gms or mgs of masala n all, i ended up making hung curd of approx 800gms of curd and mixed it with 950 gms of whole chicken, i think it was quite extra but do not know the exact quantity yet :-) ). Thank you so much once again to make healthy and professional cooking possible even with people with 0 experience into cooking, Thanks alot !! , god bless !

this is the best Tandoori chicken ever made. Reason being, baki har tandoori chicken mein rang hota hain, aur woh rubber hota hain, agar soft bhhi hua phir bhi dry hota hain, this is the first tandoori chicken that looks juicy. Sir, aap kalakar hain. Please open restaurants and you'll get 3 michelin stars. Main yehi dua karta hoon.

Brar Saab, thank you for sharing the history of Tandoor. Yes, Central Asia used Tandoor (Tannoor) a lot, but then all other older civilizations used it too. Tandoor was very popular in Turkey, Western Europe, Portugal etc, as well. I don’t think Mughals brought it to India. We have our version of Tandoor and they have theirs, which are quite similar in structure and the same technique.
