Very happy that HG Tudor knows what he is, Lord love him..had a narcissist in absolute control of me for 27 years of my life. It took his death to free me and I am still crawling and clawing my way out of the pit of hell he left me in...I am just starting to become the person I was meant to be and I get the feeling that it's going to take more than the just over 6 years it's been since he died. Life is currently kicking my butt however I am relentless in one aspect of life I absolutely refuse to ever give up..In the last few months, my car blew up, my phone battery blew up and then suddenly I lost 95%of the power in my home caused by a problem outside my home, fixing the problem will cost more than my house is worth to fix...so now I will have the pleasure of moving to someplace I don't want to because I will be moving to another state away from me wonderful son, sweet daughter in law...my precious grandbaby gosling and my going to be born in November grandbaby gosling, however I will always be ok because I will not give up on myself... I was raised by a narcissist, HG honestly scares me, but I’m still recovering from my own abuse. He is right that narcissists don’t change. My mother never apologized to me. She never admitted that she was wrong about anything. I was happy for Meghan and Harry in the beginning and then I was stopped dead in my tracks. I realized that Meghan was isolating family members, lying, and manipulating. ( My mother did the same. She was a brilliant manipulator and was exhausting.) As a victim of narcissistic abuse, I recognized the signs. I really feel for Harry. I know not everyone feels the same. I can’t help it because it took me a life time to realize I was abused by a narcissist. Harry strikes me as a wounded adolescent who is clueless. I don’t know how long it will take him to realize that he is the victim of narcissistic abuse. It can take a lifetime. Either way, he is wounded and broken.
Me too 🫣 BUT I had a narc sibling as well & they were worse than the parent 🥶 I had to go no contact after 60 years 🤷♀️ now my life is calm & peaceful, with no dramas/lies or manipulations. It’s wonderful. It took me along time to recover from the abuse. I hope you are better now ❤️💐🇬🇧

Adolescent. Seems harmless. But when you hear stories of him slapping people and hiding behind body guards. Soldiers being killed on his behalf. Females raped....I hardly see him as harmless

Great interview!!! My first husband was and still is a narcissist. I see Rachel's behavior toward Harold, and it gives me shivvers from her controlling behavior. He tried to destroy me when I got the strength to leave him. Fortunately, I got away and see it all so clearly,now, but that was after 8 years and 2 kids. My kids finally got away from him too and see the light. It was tough on all of us. I agree with what HG Tutor said about having a total black out against the Narcissist. That is the only way to protect yourself!!
I felt like I went into the witness protection program leaving my ex (but he did a LOT of damage before I got out) - I went private and even left town. Despite this, he managed to do things through technology (credit, change of address, had my ss#, etc) 😮 If they’re highly intelligent, you in trouble, girl…they are vindictive AF. Watch your backs, ladies.
I am lucky mine wasn't highly intelligent. My life has still been a horror story roller coaster since I left him 12 years ago! I hoped he would go find someone else and let go but he never has.
I think I've figured out the "cataglyphis" thing: If HG were to ask that question of a "normal" person, they would answer along the lines of "Sorry, I don't know what you mean". Meghan is a narcissist, however, so she would want you to think that she was an expert, even though she would have no idea what he was talking about. It would be very entertaining to watch her try and answer that, as her narcissism wouldn't allow her to admit that she didn't know something.
I am in awe. It's so strange to actually like someone who blatantly tells you he is manipulating you in his favor. But in such a begiling way we can't help but appreciate him. Truly boggles my mind.
That is exactly what has me fascinated as well.
We get “fuel” from him as well don’t we? Enjoyment, entertainment, education, and plenty of laughs.

Princess Catherine is so lovely in her purple dress at Wimbledon and rightfully received a standing ovation! I also love Princess Charlotte's navy polka dot dress. She then presented Carlos Alcaraz with his trophy and later will pressent the woman's champion as well, what a true royal does. Princess Catherine is the real champion in our hearts. ❤ You know that plates are breaking. I wonder what silly thing TOW will do today.
I'm sorry I misread an article and I thought she was presenting the trophy for the women's championship as well. From what I understand she is not. I was kind of worried as that would be a long day for her. However, she looked wonderful and so happy to be there with her family.

I think my Granddaughter is dating a Narcissist. They dated in HS and now in her 20's, and she hasn't been happy lately. When they broke up in HS he posted pics of him in a hot tub with a bunch of girls and told all his friends not to talk to her. He wants her to do everything with his family and won't come to our family functions. She said to me the other day that somethings off with him. I am going to tell her to listen to H G Tudor.
Get her on it asap. She needs to know what she is dealing with before it's too late, ie marriage and children. Wise lady you are. Or man. I dot care about that, save her from this person!

I’m a survivor of 40 years with a narcissist. I’m still clawing my way out and it’s surely a process. HG scares me but I manage to listen because I need to learn. Sometimes I just have to click off and go back later.
I was raised by a narcissistic father, so even though HG Tudor is very educational I can never be totally entertained by him, I find him too chilling.
Yes...sad commentary that I can give you feedback...he makes me feel the same way. It can get overwhelming...but with determination you WILL do it. Kudos to you for taking on such a scary person. This subject can twist anyone's head around. Best of luck to you. Take care.

What I enjoy about H.G. is his practical advice re narcissism.
It makes so much more sense to me than the psychology breakdown or knowledge. He's the source v book learning or their experience with a narcissist. He's aware, so we're getting how they think, behave, the why and wherefore...and his breakdowns are 1st class! His terminology for the types, etc. makes the most sense to me too. Such a fantastic conversation, Jen! 💜

Exactly! The medical explanation and categorization never made sense to me, especially with the overlap of other personality disorders. Once I listened to HG, it was like a veil lifting.

Coming from personal experiences, I was subject to being targeted by a narcissist in my teenage years. Several years after I had separated myself from them, they relentlessly refused to stay away. If you don't permanently keep away from someone that affects your life negatively, then that shadows your existence and all other relationships in your life. I'm only coming from my own personal experience.
I listened to the video yesterday and it was great. There was never a dull moment. It sounded like a normal conversation not fake. It sounded like you have been friends forever.

I found HG’s channel a while back when I was dealing with a narcissist in my family. With his help, I was able to instruct my husband on how to fight the narcissist, and how to stop feeding the narcissist. We have now completely cut off contact. Hearing the clues, it gets easier and easier to spot what you’re dealing with and therefore combat it.
So great having Jen and HG together. Thank you.

I was married to a narcissist for 23 years and I cut the relationship off with absolutely no contact at all. This was before HG started his channel so I obviously took the right action. It's wonderful that H G has produced all this information about narcissists and narcissism in general. Someone very precious to me suffered very badly at the hands of a narcissist and from that experience I can confirm that H G is spot on in everything he says on this topic. Harry is also living proof of a life destroyed at the hands of someone like this, in my opinion.

Brilliant . I had no idea what a narcissist was but after discovering HG during the pandemic, many things became apparent to me about the narcissistic abuse which I was unwittingly exposed to throughout many stages of life. Understanding this through this channel, eventually led me to take the decision of absolutely no contact with a close family member. Although initially difficult, and despite their many attempts to disparage me, I shall never resume contact . Life without them is my own life.

Interesting questions Jen. HG Tudor is the expert in his field of understanding narcissism, that's for sure. No one has such a comprehensive knowledge of the topic like HG. His work has really helped me out in my personal life. Very interesting exchange on both of your channels. Thank you.
The information HG gave about living with a Narcissist, and what to do to protect yourself, The NO contact is extremely brilliant advice, I suffered many years living with one of these people, after physical and mental abuse and constant cheating, I stupidly repeated the roundabout of removal and letting him back, until I had finally reached my limit, even then he persisted in trying to contact, I shut it down completely, he kept trying but I was like a brick wall in the end, He finally gave up. Now myself and my two lovely children (that are grown and have lives of their own) are the happiest we have ever been, kudos to HG Tudor.

Wow this was great! HG has been such a gift to those of us who had no idea why we’ve been devastated by this type of person!
HG is a great guest. I listen to his daily content as it’s always enlightening. Having a narcissist in our close family has caused havoc, and left a trail of destruction in their wake. HG is spot on as it took going completely NC was the only way to break away from the omnipresent drama that ensues. It’s too mentally exhausting to deal with on a daily basis. Life is calm without the ad hoc verbal attacks that they would get delight in seeing the recipient’s pain. I shall definitively purchase an HG tome as it all helps to explain what motivates a narcissist, and how to deal with someone if going NC is not an option.
If NC is not an option go “gray rock” (research it, tons of videos here on YT) and practice JADE, always: don’t Justify, don’t Argue, don’t Defend, don’t Explain. And it helps to “see” them as an entitled 5-year old (no offence meant to any 5-year old)

I LOVED this collaboration. HG is such a charming man (of which he is very aware I know) but I'm always surprised by his sense of fun.
Once upon a time I worked for a pair of narcissists, husband and wife. She absolutely destroys women (as does M). I thought I must truly be incompetent in that role but realized afterwards that I wasn’t the problem. Took a long time to get beyond it and the tremendous hit to my self esteem. Fascinates me that they get away with this behavior! Will relish the downfall.

Jen out here saying how HG Tudor was so wonderful and made her feel at ease. I like and appreciate HG Tudor's work. Incredibly insightful. BUT - and he will support me on this - he remains a Narcissistic Psychopath. He WILL make you feel at ease - and you will be charmed and talk of his wonderful nature. You will give him fuel and feed his Narcissism. BUT, he is just as capable of casually stepping over your dying body lying in the street - as it wouldn't serve his purpose to help you. He could coldly destroy your life and move on like nothing noteworthy happened. That's the Psychopath in him: cold, charming and calculating.

It's hard to go no contact. You really have to stay vigilant. If you've been the target of a narcissist, you must stay away completely. If you take one thing away from the work of HG Tudor this, is it.
