OH yes that's awesome difference between the darker furnitures and the lighter set it opens up the area the pillows colors blended in everything looks so unique it's amazing the way you selected each pieces of furniture to design a wonderful decor.

Awwww Anita! I loveeeee your living room. I was so surprised when you pointed out how dark you felt the room was in the before video. I couldn’t completely see what you meant until you revealed the after video.The coziness, the laid back sophistication coupled with the earthiness that the pillow’s brown tones add just make you want to snuggle up on the sofa with a cup of tea and that Black Hollywood coffee table book. Aw, thank you so much Denise and this was they type of space I have been wanting for a while. The old sofas were nice but they were not very comfortable. I wanted a room where I could lay on the couch with a cup of tea like you said and read or look at a good book. Or, even fall asleep while binge watching a good show. We just couldn't do that in the other space, so it needed and was long overdue for a change. TFW!
Your home is just so beautiful. I think if I visited, it would feel so warm and comfortable. Looks like I have my inspiration for my home updates.

The moment we all had been waiting for. Y'all family room is absolutely beautiful!! The entire home is. I was glad y'all kept those unique pieces. I look at a lot of content creator's decor channels. First of all, I didn't know anything about the drapes. You just put me on and I went right over to Amazon. The transformation looks beautifully drastic although you made simple small changes. Love it. Also, your furniture is in great condition. Can't believe you had many of the pieces for years!
The space looks amazing Anita. You guys did a great job with the decor!! I loved that you upcycled some of your existing pieces. Glad you kept the cabinet. It's hard to find quality wood furniture now.

It’s a nice refresh. You guys both did a wonderful job. It’s so much brighter and fresher. This was probably meant to be a quick change around nothing strenuous but if you look to do something in this room again here’s a couple suggestions. That railing detail is actually a really simple fix to remove it. It would open up the room so much and help to further update the gorgeous refresh you guys did. The only thing that would take little time and patience is replacing the small bits of tile under the ledge. That’s if you can match the current tile. Also the rug is too small for the room and couch. Check out some rug guides so you can find the appropriate size. Ok and one last thing and I’ll leave you alone 😂. Always buy pillow inserts that are one dimensional size bigger than the covers you purchase. If the covers are 20x20 buy pillows inserts that are 22x22 etc.
Thanks for your suggestions however, that’s the beauty of having/owning our own homes, we decorate them for ourselves and not for or the approval of others. We actually love the space and everything about it. Now if you want to send me some coins to make those changes, I’ll happily except…lol. TFW! 😊💕

Hey Anita! I love the family room updates. I am in love with the sectional. I always loved the 1 piece seat cushions on sofas. Kind of hard to find. It’s always like 2 or 3 seat cushions. Loving KoKo’s little area. The room is perfect! Another awesome project checked off the list….lol! Thanks for sharing!

I was surprised when you mentioned you got the sofa from Bassett because I had a horrible experience with them. Five couches later. Yes…they had to replace my sofa 5 times. @@RollinwithAnita Thank you Anita. Customer service was good but I think it was more so the delivery company and the crafters of the furniture. Either the delivery men scratch up the wood getting it through the door or there was a flaw in the fabric. So customer service did have another couch delivered but I had to wait so long because it was a custom made sofa and it was during Covid. After 4 couches I finally asked them if they would let me get a different sofa and they agreed so I went back to the store to choose a different sofa that they could remove the legs which would make the delivery process easier. I suggested to them that they might want to switch delivery companies. When I finally got the final and 5th couch they stripped the screw on the leg and Bassett had to come out and repair it. Well because of that and some other minor issues I was not happy. If you spend 2,000.00 for a couch you would expect it to be almost perfect. Bassett did refund me $400.00 back and I vowed never to deal with them again. 🤦🏽♀️. Total nightmare. I digress. Your space sis is absolutely gorgeous!! I’m in love. 🥰
