does anyone like the darker green ko version over the lighter green original version? I think the darker green are more accurate to the comic books. Yes Im aware the comics themselves are black and white, but the cover is color

I ordered this bootleg set on aliexpress but with red bands for around $50 shipped. So I was looking for few videos about them here on youtube and stumbled upon your video. Great review! Thank you for making this one. It's amazing that these bootlegs still can be found for a good price. From what I can see they look great but I'll know more when I get them in hand.

I just ourdered the red bandana version for $45. looking forward to getting them since I now have red shirt Casey Jones, Splinter, and pre ordered Zog. Great video man! This got me more excited to get the ones I ordered.

I heard that about the neca 1990 tmnt figures.. honestly at this point, this is better than buying it from scalpers. Until neca starts to re release these figures or the other ones.

THANK YOU for this! I put off ordering the bootlegs years ago. I recently decided to get them and was shocked by the eBay prices for the bootlegs! I've found several options on AliExpress thanks to your video. NECA seems completely uninterested in re-releasing these, and while I loved Lawson's work, it doesn't compare to Eastman and Laird.

So the ones with the multicoloured bandanas are all bootlegs? And the ones with the red bandanas are only mostly bootlegs? There's a seller on eBay UK right now selling a set of 4 bootlegs, listed as bootlegs, for £199.99. There's another seller offering a loose set of 4 bootlegs for £38.

Hey so do the back of their headbands come off? I'm wondering because mine looks like it can come off but I'm not sure it looks a little torn already so i don't want to completely tear it but it could be just some paint isn't there

They are connected via peg, so they can come off. But with these they are usually really tightly painted in. So, use best judgement, and honestly if it tears you could probably super-glue it back on and not really notice.

the first bootlegs around 2011-2012 still had the correct green color, the chest part, the elbow and knee pads were still a bit soft like the original, now they are too hard and the color green obviously is too dark now.

I`m sorry to bother you but do you still have that red bootleg michelangelo because my got the Leonardo head

I scavenged most of it for parts, including the back of the bandana, but I still have the head itself. If you can remove the back of the bandana from your Leonardo head, you can plug that into my Mikey head no problem. The heads themselves just take a minute with a hair dryer to remove. That cool?
