Excellent review and through this, I sealed the deal on an Astina at my local Mazda dealership. My budget was 46k and I wanted all the creature comforts that would make my driving pleasure more-so. Roomy (and I'm 6'1'' and 115kgs), love the open sunroof and my tunes thru' the 12(!) speaker Bose stereo. Most importantly, there's nothing else on the road that looks like it. All up, I paid 43,800k drive away! BTW, you do realise that you're the spitting image of Matthew Newton!
I took a MX30 for a long test drive, beautiful car a bit thirsty on fuel 8L/100km but a good car for a couple. I drive a Mazda CX3 my fuel cost 6.5L/100km Mazdas are a very good cars, but they do need to catch up with Toyotas Hybrid technology
Waiting for the rotary range-extender with 4WD will be a practical coupe since RX8 must subtract plastic bumpers replace with body colored bumpers. Also add a supercharged Skyactiv-X and turn it into MX-3 as the 3 door shooting-brake fastback since Mazda Etude though it will indirectly replace Mazda 3 sedans in the next generation.
Aren't there regulations to how low/high turn signals can be on a vehicle? I'm sure I'm not the smart one to think of how that may be important in certain situations. lol 0:00
I think the MX-30 is a waste of time. Mazda already had the fantastic CX-30 so why just put in an electric motor without having to go all out with a new model. By the way, did I mention that the styling of this car is 50/50 though compare it to the elegant CX-30, it stands no chance in design inside and out. Please Mazda make the RX-Vision GT3 a thing!
Love how this bloke does the review in his pj’s.
👌🏾
What's the point in paying extra for the 'hybrid' if the fuel consumption is 6.7l/100km?
I once got 6.7 average from my 380. Very economical but you have to work at it.
Yes right . It should be 4.7/100km

The cx30 Astina has a power liftgate, this one doesn't?
I think they built it just for the sake of building one bc some countries require at least one electric vehicle sold
... Did this guy just make an entire review of a hybrid and not report real world fuel economy values?
clean your lens please
JUST FOUND OUT IT DOESNT HAVE AIR TO THE BACK SEATS, REDICULOUS FOR A HOT COUNTRY LIKE AUSTRALIA - PASS
Most of the other small cars or suv from other brands either doesnt either unless you select the top premium range.
Failed product
Oh my it’s so ugly ! Mazda is going downhill in design
