The fact that Pennsylvania has state controlled liquor stores does not mean that Pennsylvanians don't drink, we do and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is the largest wholesale buyer of liquor in the US. In fact Lancaster City used to have a distinction of having one church and three bars on every street.😂
Nice to know you art from New Holland, my first Husband grew up there. I grew up in Lancaster city, but have lived in East Lampeter Twp. for 38 years, along the Old Philadelphia Pike, Bridgeport area, location location location. Never moving again I am really close to everything, grocery store, pharmacy, Wine and Spirits, gas stations, route 30, Fire Department, Police, State Police, Ambulance, Lgh, several restaurants, banks, shopping, etc., all within three miles or less. Oh, and Greenfield Industrial Park.
And we usually come out to Lancaster at least 2 or 3 times a year. Eaither in summer but always in the fall.
Currently living in Bethlehem ,and am seriously considering moving to Lancaster , first I need to visit though LOL .
My wife and I have so many questions for you. We don’t know to begin.first my wife and I have been going to out Lancaster over16 years now like last year we took our 17 year old probably three times and we took her in the fall.that was always our favorite time there.and my wife and I are coming to Lancaster this October again.but every time we came out .the more we just fell in love with the country and the beauty of Lancaster.so every time we going back on the crazy turn pike. We kept saying to each other do you see us living out some day?and we always said yes.so here we are planning talk about moving to Lancaster next year.we we’re thinking at first renting for a couple of year’s. But where not sure what is the best path for us to take. We’ve been renting from my parents over 20 year’s now. And my wife is in nursing.
We are planning to move late next year, is it too early to shop around for a house?

I grew up in Lancaster County, I still live here I will soon be moving out of this State. None of what they said is true, just because it's in magazines. 1 Hospitals and warehouses are popping up everywhere taking away from the farmland. 2 taxes keep going up pushing out locals due to it because the big warehouses are getting tax breaks and not employing nearly as many people as they claim. 3 the schools are ran by fools couldn't budget a dollar correctly. 4 your taxes will NEVER go where your local politicians say they will. 5 the roads State or local are horrible and the cost of living is going up quite fast in our area.

And Lancaster County is well known that is the most boring place in the entire country
And surprise me how the hell they expecting tourists if every place is closing at 8pm

Well, that hasn't been our experience with Lancaster and we've never heard of Lancaster being the "most boring place" in the entire country.
I've lived in Lancaster for 42 years and there's always something to do. Sundays everything closes early for obvious reasons.
You've never been to Lebanon county
I have been living for here for a decade. It changed a lot, It's not boring. What other cities has that Lancaster don't have? I moved to beautiful Miami and right back to Lancaster after two years. It's much better here. Job pays a lot better here in Lancaster.

We just had lunch at The Imperial on Friday. It is only a block from our EXP Realty branch office! 😁 Chuck's favorite dish is their sirloin steak and Janet loves a salad with salmon. 🤤
