My only suggestion to people is to 2strand twist your real hair before wrapping it. Trust me when I say it makes the take down process far easier because you’re able to tell it apart from the fake hair. 1-2 months down the line the fake hair really sticks to itself and gets so textured that it can sometimes be hard to tell it apart from the real.

If you keep your hair moisturized the entire your hair is in the locs, they won’t break or pull your hair out plus I use the little rubber band removal tool

Coming from someone who went natural over 10 yrs ago, the only style I've known is Senegalese twists. This is beautiful work.
I usually do this with my hair braided or twisted first but this is a great braidless technique. I guess some people don't understand that this video is for people that don't know how to braid. Thanks! I will be doing this today!❤

i like braiding down to keep my protected but i might try this thanks !
Hopefully with this technique the hair won’t eventually become matted with the locs over time and be difficult to take down causing breakage. That’s what happened to me when I got faux locs and the stylist left the ends of my hair unbraided. I think the natural hair should be secured at least in two strand twists, or else it wont be protected well.
We do this method in Nigeria as well, kudos to you for inspiring others 😊
