I really want to get this model, but I have seen some photos of it with what I assume are quality control problems!! In the shots I have seen, the bed is sitting at an angle with the gap between the cab and the bed being totally uneven!? I get it if your paying a couple of dollars for a model but when you are paying over $20 for a 1/64 model, you should be able to buy it with total confidence that the quality is the highest possible!!
This is why I try to avoid the rush(unless certain items are limited). I do the same thing with smart phones. I am never that guy, who sits outside the Apple store for two days. I do so, because I want wait and see if there are any issues and from what you've stated and from what I here is some imperfections(chips, scratch paint, and more). You are spot on, if we were paying a dollar for a die-cast, I can understand, but $20, $25 or higher, this is unacceptible.

Respectfully, I would have appreciated it, if you had dropped this video more than one day before the release, giving some of us the opportunity to sign-up on his website, add credit cards and set ourselves up to be able to get one of these. In the future, especially for Kaido House would you drop your video a few days prior, that way, some of us can get things in order and NOT be too late to order.
Beautiful. From green to brown. That is called chameleon paint job. Those are $50,000 USD paint jobs in real life. Just look at R34 Midnight Purple III.
**Lamley, the next time you speak to Jun Imai, would you please ask him these questions:** 1. How long does he plan on designing die-casts for MiniGT? 2. If he isn't planning on doing this for sometime, has he set things up, where Mini GT can continue after he, moves on? 3. How many castings is he contractually obligated to produce? In particular the '83 Silverado/Datsun 510 Wagons. 4. Is he considering selling his die-casts at Walmart or Target?
The timing on this is great, as my red 83 Silverado just arrived on Monday. It's absolutely incredible, which I expected enough to preorder the white one you showed later and the first dually version without even getting my first one yet. The Kaido House cars have been absolutely gorgeous. Especially for the $25 price point. I've only got three so far (the silverado, the pink sakura version of the wagon, and the blue nismo skyline), but I'm looking forward to picking up many more of them.
I think the Black Limited should have had a little hint of box design? Maybe instead of deleting the stripe, it should have had a carbon fibre stripe? It’s gorgeous anyways, but you asked “what I think?” Nice one! I wish I could afford these die-casts… thanks for sharing & making me drool 🤤. 😂👊

@@mikedillard835 I agree with you, when my uncles and cousins modified and lowered their '83 Chevy Silverado trucks, the trailer hitch, heck bumper for that matter were excluded. I'm thinking Mattel(Hot Wheels) had a say and told him, he needs to make HIS die-casts stand out from Hot Wheels, not just the tampos.
IF our South African currency wasnt x 20 compared to the Dollar ( Yes $1 = ZAR20 ) I'd def try n get 1...but tht makes the normal $225 selling price x 20 !!! So yeah
