The Volvo is magnificent. The '32 Ford is cooler than I thought. The Benz is just beautiful (I agree with your idea on putting it in a 2-pack, maybe with another premium version of the 500E). The VW Bus is nice, but not for me. The E46 is cool, but we've seen too many of those IMO, they should have made another 1991 M5. Greetings from the Netherlands!
I believe that people buy out the jdm and euro stuff faster because there hasn't been many options for them in the past because they had always focused more on american stuff. There is for sure still a market for american stuff but its got to be stuff they haven't done before. If they plan on newer versions of older castings I don't think they will do well. Unless they are fixing stuff like the exaggerated wheel openings like they did on the 69 charger for rlc. The 67 GTO is another one that has ridiculous proportions. But newer stuff like the 59 Brookwood was a great idea. People want to collect cars and do customs of their own cars a regular s10 blazer would have been great instead of the typhoon and cyclone or a regular version also because almost nobody has an actual typhoon or cyclone but they do have the regular version.
There's a good variation of models in this set. Best version of the '73 Volvo 142 so far imo. '32 Ford is probably my favorite of this lot. I wouldn't mind seeing the Mercedes E36 Wagon again in black with the proper doors this time. VW Samba Bus looks pretty good (the old is not awful, the livery is, but pales in comparison to the new model). BMW M3 looks best outside the package. Really good set to end 2024 Boulevard. Thanks for the review and the casting history.

I agree on the Hot Rods comment. Times have changed and their audience isn’t into those now. The Savoy is sitting and that car is awesome. I’ll buy them but I’m more JDM and Euro.
It's sad for old scool collectors like me the only car I want is the 32 Ford...the younger collectors can have JDM and others but don't stop making Muscle cars and Hot Rods for the rest of us

I have given up on Boulevard...not because I don't like them, I think they have some of the best card art out of the bunch...but because in Chicago I can't find them what so ever.
In fact I got 2 black Merc wagons just for the door issue, so in the second one I trimmed it and paint that under section with gloss black very carefully so it looks as the white one. I love the Merc the Volvo and the VW. I used to hate that yellow mustard color in the M3 in the real car back in the day and reminded me that I still hate it....
or not I kinda don't want the Volvo and Sambabus. BMW is fine but it's not the version I want (where's the GTR) mercedes is whatever. '32 Ford will be dirt cheap in my country since everyone is into JDM and neglecting every american muscle and hot rod.
Deco quality ruins all these models, the grain has never looked so horrible. Wish you would bring it up and harp on it--might motivate Mattel to do something about it. I've stopped collecting Premium because of it. I want to like these models. With quality prints like on basics or Silver line, these would be great. All that aside, wish the E46 got the 10 spokes. 5 spokes don't work for it.
talking about muscle cars should be in Boulevard series, i really want to see Jeep Grand Cherokee appears (we got its model in F&F Premium line up right?)
Honestly, the '32 Ford is about the only one that interests me in this release. They could easily refresh the casting just by giving it a new engine piece for premiums. The VW Transporter is good as well, casting wise, just not a fan of the colors.
32 will be the first one gone despite the miss matched rims on the front and wider tires than the rear. Rest are whatever. Volvo will be the peg warmer.
hot rods are great + love to see more, but I think the demographic is fading...just as there is waning interest in the actual redline wheels for new hot wheels as shown by all the RLC sElection choices. I also think that is why they do not sell as well in stores. IMO

On the topic of hot rods an American muscle, if they tap into the culture of road racing it can pull sales. However ; they don't even do it right with the jdms , it's just acceptable. Why are people mad that A.M. cars are not made more , what is wrong with people ? I have been into hot wheels from the age of 3, and most of the hw's are A.M. or some old ass trash ass v8 or low rider it's only the last few years has the jdm cars has taken off . Why do you think AM cars take longer to sell ? No, really think about why tf they stay on the pegs .....who are the people complaining but not fucking going out an buying ?
Sorry the BMW looks like baby food, it ugly. The VW will not sit on the pugs it will be the hardest to get, and the most scalped. The 32 ford is very cool as well.

The Volkswagen is perfection. The proportions, the export bumpers, the open Safari windshield. It's fantastic.
The set is almost a real disappointment for me. Sure the 32 Ford is ok and the T1 is cool but the others i dont know... Boring.
