Kazan Kremlin is a historic and architectural complex located in the center of Kazan, the capital city of Tatarstan, Russia. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000 and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Russia. it was built in the 10th century by the Bulgars, a Turkic people who inhabited the region before the Mongol invasion. In the 15th century, it became part of the growing Russian Empire and underwent several renovations and additions. The territory of Kazan Kremlin covers an area of 12 hectares and features a collection of monuments, including the famous Kul-Sharif Mosque, Благовещенский собор, and several museums.
