- On a hot July day, I took a stroll through Kazan. Starting from the intersection of Gorky Street and Pushkin Street, I wandered through the city until I reached Karl Marx Street, near the main building of the Kazan Chemical-Technological Institute and not far from the Art School.
Gorky Street, named after famous Russian writer Maxim Gorky, is one of the main thoroughfares in Kazan. It is lined with a variety of shops, cafes, and historical buildings, giving it a vibrant atmosphere.
Pushkin Street, named in honor of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, is a charming street known for its beautiful architecture and cultural landmarks. It is home to the Pushkin Library and a number of art galleries, making it a popular destination for art enthusiasts.
Karl Marx Street, formerly known as Lenin Avenue, is a major street in Kazan. It stretches for several kilometers, passing through the city center and connecting various important landmarks. The street showcases a mix of modern buildings and historical structures, creating an interesting blend of old and new.
Overall, my walk through these streets allowed me to explore the rich history and cultural heritage of Kazan, truly immersing myself in the beauty of the city.

Огромная благодарность автору прогулок по городу. И я когда-то ходила по этим улицам. Наша квартира было в доме, где сейчас музей Баратынского. За прошедшие десятилетия много изменилось на ул. Горького. Прекрасно отреставрированы старинные здания. У химико-технологиского института была остановка трамвая, на котором мы ездили в сад. Просматривая такие фильмы приятно понастальгировать о давно прошедших детских годах. Как будто сам прошёл по истории.
