I couldn't wait for the studio release of this after seeing ADABANA in the Osaka live stream. Haven't been this excited for a studio release since seeing the HYPNOSIS debut at their 2nd Anniversary live stream. Whisky a Go Go concert release ticket in hand. Hoping they do LIFE as an Encore again. If it's anything close to what they did at Shibuya Public Hall, it will launch NEMOPHILA into the stratosphere. 🌸✨🌠

Great song, great Band. This song is like the perfect song for me. Tamu gets to go beast on the drums. Fills, Rolls, Triples. Guitars are incredible. Mayu diverse vocals. Drummer Murata Tamu, is a Michael Portnoy, Dave Lombardo fan. She is a Dream Theater fan.
Saw this song live at Zepp but wasn't sure what it was about then. Saki's lyrics have something in common with your beloved Band-Maid's songs: the word "Rinne" (cyclical rebirth) appears, as does Shakespeare. You may be a blooming plant that fails to flower---"adabana"---but you have a purpose in life so live it, Mayu says. Saki said they did many takes to get the song right, particularly the bridge. The intro/outro picking is Saki. The guitar backing obligatos were assigned randomly to left and right channels to create a kind of chaotic effect---Saki said Kensuke Akiyama, composer-arranger who's worked often with Nemophila (and a few times with Band-Maid btw), had free rein in that regard. Saki and Hazuki recorded their solos separately without hearing what the other played, but they credited Akiyama for mastering it into a coherent whole. Saki said she was busy in rehearsal and on tour with Mary's Blood during the song's post-production and had to communicate with Akiyama remotely---she said it was hectic but they got it done. They certainly did!
The guitar solos are never long enough. I always want more shredding. Yet what they do in mere seconds is more memorable than a 3 minute self indulgent 'typical'guitar solo that goes on and on endlessly, untill you want to start contemplating life or delinting your navel. Another great song and reaction!
I THINK the Facemelter is actually a Guy i think that is Teru or Hizake from the Band Versailles. ONE of the Top 3 guitarist. of Japan. He says he s not Gay or Trans he just likes to dress Like a woman. I dont care anymore if its a Guy i think he was needed to bring Nemophila to the Next Level. What Hizaki Shows in this Song is like 50 % of his actual Skill he s really good Check some Songs by Versailles for example Catharsis and Rosen Schwert

These ladies just keep getting better and better! They've only been together as a band for a couple of years; can you imagine what they're going to be like in another two years? Wow! It amazes me how Mayu is able to switch back and forth between her scream and her clean voice with so much ease. And can we just talk about how Tamu went absolutely apesh*t on those drums. And I have no idea how she was able to play with those boots she was wearing. Another great song from the happiest little metal heads in the business.
This one is truly special. Such a phenomenal production sonically, visually, lyrically profound too. NEMOPHILA were always a class act from their beginning but this feels like a game changer, so refined and confident...ready to take over the world. Just pure brilliance all round! My favourite from them and never thought Oiran would be toppled....just a shame we don't see more of Hara-chan in this video😍
Tamu was trained as a wicked jazz drummer. Watch her sometimes switch to traditional grip. She is amazing, sings background vocals, did a dance cover to Feel Special by Twice and recently gave birth to a beautiful baby.
