There's also themes of guilt which probably comes from seeing the state your in and knowing that you desperately need to change because you're hurting others and yourself, but feeling like you can't because reality is too unbearable to face up to, it's easier to wallow in depression and anxieties hazed in bottles of booze. I feel the zombie is a physical representation of how she feels, which is mindless, out of control and malicious. I've tried as hard as I can to put this into words and this is the best I can do, I resonate with this song, it helped me when I was going through addiction, because people don't always want some sugar-coated advice on hope, when your perception is so warped by your own depression and ails, it's better to allow yourself to feel it and pour it all out so it's not pressed in like an over-packed suitcase.
