conors lyrics are unbelievable. to all of you complaining about his voice, i believe his voice is relatable, like his lyrics. In all honesty, i don't think i'd enjoy his music if he were to have a smooth sounding, perfect voice.
This beyond music , more than a artist more than any art form i ever witnessed. He is a hero who save lifes. He saved mine. And i wont leave this world as long as he makes music. Amen
@@thomaspearson6564 I can see all of those and still say he’s something else. I do worry he’s working on a Kerouac with how much he drinks. (All conjecture from available footage on TH-cam). Whatever and anyway he’s imo the most talented word smith since… I’m sorry… I have to say it… Dylan.
Not a big Dawes fan but man that are all great musicians. Everything is so tasteful. Oberst looks good and sounds clear. The songs are always fantastic. This is my favorite Oberst performance on the Internet, I think.
Its so great knowing conor still plays a lot of bright eyes songs. Life goal: see him live while cross faded with a beautiful lady friend, and singalong like its the last day on earth.
I saw Conor in a concert where Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings made a surprise appearance. Gillian and Dave were supporting a young artist who was showing much promise. Here is the proof Conor "paid it forward" by supporting "First Aid Kit" and "Dawes" as up and coming artist. That's serious class, Conor! Forever respect to you, my friend!
Saw First Aid Kit live one night, Conor live the very next night, both shows in Omaha. I was really hoping one would make an appearance at the other's show, but it didn't happen. Two great shows though.
Connor and the girls are good friends, that´s all,and you se it all the time,Paul MC Cartney sings together with Bruce Springsteen on the same stage, nothing strange with that.

Dawes is perhaps the most solid backing band Conor's ever had. They just sound so tight.
knut Have you not seen MVB?
knut They're increeeeeeedible.
The sound man should get an award, the mix is perfect. Also, their playing is tight AF.
i think we watched this 500 times already.
it's an awesome concert, leaves me breatheless!!
At least . And we still want more and more.
I know it's kinda randomly asking but does anybody know a good site to stream new series online?

Absolutely right, his voice fits perfectly to his lyrics.
Generations' best songwriter.
The better someone's voice, the harder it is to believe what they're singing
Joycean, which is to say, stream-of-consciousness without self-consciousness...
Well I could have been a famous singer
If I had someone else's voice
But failure's always sounded better
Let's fuck it up boys, make some noise!
This is the best I've ever heard Conor. The backing band (Dawes + First Aid Kit) is a perfect fit.

Amen
this is a beautifully eloquently written response
I can can compare him to bukowski, Kerouac,Paul Simon, or even Neil diamond… but this dude has the knowledge and his own formula

+caleb c Have done this, it's pretty great.

Everything about this show looks perfect

*This* is what gets me through the day...
My god what a set. The greatest artist of my generation in all forms of art...without a doubt.
When Klara and Johanna hit those harmonies at 43:05 .... I got goosebumps
Reading this at 43:05 in the video
Saw both Conor and First Aid Kit separately this Autumn - but would have loved to see them playing together like this...
so great! Conor is a master songwriter & preformer.
great show and dig all the guests
I like the Conor balloons in the crowd :).
I was about to say the same as you said... fuckingly amazing!
thanks for this! love conor and first aid kit
best "backing band" ever!
Thank you!❤
Percussion duties handled by Napoleon Dynamite (Griffin Goldsmith). Be honest -
who else thought that?
Obsessed with Dawes drummer!
Jennifer Rovenko Yeah,he is great.
This is wonderful! Thank you!
I love this man
🌹
Best thing ever
Bad ass set
This concert is perfect
Unreal how these live versions slay everyone of the studio songs. What was it like to be there?? Thanks, Taylor.
I've seen him live 4 times, each time is amazing and different.
Peak Conor.
holy shit
Nice... :)
That climax at 2:53 is fucking awesome.
Surely depends on your perspective!
i scream
Personally I like the house of blues Boston concert with Rebecca and Megan in the band but yes this is good
27:00 that dawes guitar part is hot
1 pbj For the Bus TODAY
Bob Ross on drums!!!
***** Hahahah!!
Was redet der Typ am Anfang für einen Stuss!?? Trotzdem richtig geiles Konzert!!!
Did Conor slap Taylor's ass at the end?
Does anyone know what type of guitar Conor is playing? The Black semi hollow during old soul song and hit the switch.
Fano
That truck driver probably didn't realize he almost ran over 1/3 of Bright Eyes, all of First Aid Kit and a piece of Dawes.
WTF are the girls mics even on?
The Swedish ladies are way too low in the mix!
shaunone - I think it sounds good. It's like using Bay leaves in a recipe. Just a nice subtle background flavor.
26:28 me 😂😭💔💔
"Viel Spass mit Conor Oberst" xD
you are too young to wear sunglass during the day
First Aid Kit don`t nead this group ! They are better !!
Connor and the girls are good friends, that´s all,and you se it all the time,Paul MC Cartney sings together with Bruce Springsteen on the same stage, nothing strange with that.
None of them need each other, there are two great bands on stage.
