He is a real TE, just used differently. if gronk, kittle or gonzalez were in Reid’s system they would be used differently than we know them to be used. He was drafted mainly for his blocking skills, but when reid saw his receiving skillsets, he decided to use him more that way since it benefits the team most. Reid is a happy passing coach and not so much running, when he has a good QB. But apparently such nuanced are too complex for your smooth brain to understand. Your eyes are open but can’t grasp what you’re watching. Just yapping

the coaches and assistants move around all the time, so teams will have that knowledge anyway. there's a big difference between though and execution and i admire the guys for creating TEU to make the overall position better. i think this is one of the biggest reasons why you all of a sudden see top TEs on many teams. 10-15 years ago you had Greg Olsen and Tony Gonzales and that was about it, rest of the TEs were more like linemen or fullbacks.
TEU is like a convention for golden retrievers.
