You are a great teacher. I would love to take a course from you, or have a long lunch. Would you consider a post on how the Jewish theologians address the Hellenization issues and how they moved beyond the Torah G*d to the Talmudic G*d?
Excellent! Very helpful. This is definitely a confusing topic. Maybe we need to let the classical notion of attributes and the modern notion work themselves out dialectically. I can see much truth coming from both classical and modern but alone they both seem to be missing something
Thanks for the encouragement! I know quite little about Berkouwer, so it may take me some time to study him sufficiently. Best wishes in your theological quest! ~Kevin
Thanks, Francois. I have one on Augustine and one on Aquinas on Trinity; please let me know if you are looking for a specific part of their thought--they are so influential that it is tough to overview them in one session!
I'm a student at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary. I'm studying your videos I'd like to put the video link above in the graduate school presentation I'd like to tell them the source, so could you tell me the denomination?
Hi Hera, thanks so much for watching. I'm Presbyterian. (Would be glad to share more, but can't on this channel.) I wish you the best at PTS--it looks like a great school, great community, great faculty! ~Kevin
@@kevinstorer1966 Aha~ PTS is presentation. I'm not good at English, so I want to find and present the connection points of Schliermacher's Trinity from ancient Middle Ages to modern times. This is Korea and I am studying a lot on this site. Thank you for your video.
What an interesting project, Hera! I hope you will publish your findings so I can learn from your research--Schleiermacher is so much more complex than he is often given credit for. @@heraim7050
God is personally not here. The reason is that He would know the ACTUAL future, exactly what will happen. But this means that He would let that future exactly UNFOLD LIKE IT IS. His participation to that known future is of course not necessary, everything can be carried out automatically by his power alone. This is what actually happens, God is not here ("the world has not known you" "Nobody has seen God at any time". God is here only in the form of a spirit "God [the Father] is a spirit" Jn. 4:23,24).
Thank you for the content. Some of the best on youtube!
Thanks, Robert. I appreciate the encouragement. I wish you the best in your theological journey! ~Kevin

Thanks, Miguel. I appreciate the encouragement. Great idea to focus on Judaism--I may be in over my head here, but I'll see what I can sort out! 🙂

thank you Dr Storer! Do I have the opportunity to know more about Gerrit Berkouwer? Blessings from Malaysia.

Know that I subscribed to your channel and I learned a lot from you. Keep it up.
Thanks, Neil, for the encouragement. I wish you the best in your theological journey! ks
Could you make a video on Hans Urs von Balthazar? And one on Augustine and Aquinas?
