- Tao raptor 200 cc ATV. This is a review of our new 2019 raptor. After assembling, doing a oul change and gassing it up. It did start. Found that the CDI. It started rigth up. I will be making a part 2 to this vid because my phone died. Stay tune.
I had one of these. After one summer of owning, I was very disappointed. The 200cc claimed is actually 170ccs by the manual. Maintenance is a chore, oil plug to fill is right behind the pipe from the motor to the exhaust, no tool can get in there unless you take stuff off the atv. Couldn't go thru sand, got bogged down. I ended up selling. Got a more known name brand atv

Some offshore wheelers. Are better built than others. But the gy6 engines are pretty much the same. Bullet proof. Great vid.

Think about using UV Auto glass tint to protect the speedometer. Also consider using clean auto wrap to protect other areas. Cheap and easy to apply!
I own one also not bad and never had any issues after 6 month nice quad and im happy with it awesome
Hello I bought this same atv about a month ago. The right side daytime led lights went out. Do you know how I can fix that or possibly see if something came unplugged/disconnect? Thanks
What liquids did you have to add when you got it? I added the oil and then the fuel, what about the joints with the grease gun? Also where does that piece go that is on your cardboard at 11:32 next to your gas can, the black plastic piece with six screw holes?

Try that windows tint for that tachometer perhaps 🤷♀️!!! I think that the D-N-R could have been the foot shifter levels: like up for Drive, one down for Neutral & one final down for Reverse 🤷♀️!!!
If you do all preventative maintenance and just cruise....youll be alright....its the kids who think they are motocross and racing quads....motocheese put i think 35k on his hawk....good luck with your new toys man...they look great...i have a 2008 Kawasaki kx250f... And a 2000 honda cr250..welcome to off road..your life is forever changed

Just bought my son an ACE k125 I swear it's the best one out of these quads that nobody talks about
169cc. They just call it a 200. I think top speed is 40ish. I purchased a TAO 110cc a few years back. still have it. I never thought I would be changing out a carb or installing a new ignition switch. I have learned so much from TAO quads. I do not need to bring them into the shop for a fix. I am torn between a Bull and a raptor. Love the look of the raptor.

I bought a linhai yamaha. 150. Never an issue. Overbuilt tank.
You should have ordered from superior motor sports.. shipped right to my door complete..2021 Bull 200.. The only thing I had to do was adjust the speed sensor. Added led bar light and a winch. Non ethanol fuel and she starts every time..

Hey, also looking for an update! Was going to buy 2 bull 200's, but these look much nicer. Wondering about top end speed, and how well it's held up, does it ride smooth, normal FAQ things.

Well done 👍!!! My front grill/guard was spread out too on one side, but was able to use the long bolts & not the short ones assigned to that section. Looks like my vale stems were loose to cause air is seeping out !!! Plastic covers will come off, may have to supper glue em’ 😉!!!
Yea I had the same issues. But they are simple fixes. Ride hard my friend

I just finished putting mine together and I realized on your video you have the front and back dust covers on the wheels backward. The small ones go on the back. The larger ones go on the front. There is a lip on the hub of the wheel that the larger cup attaches to. The front does not attach to the washer. At least that is how mine is.

Have you put a mikuni carb on it? Have you rejetted it? It has a very common GY6 motor and I'm looking to see if it's possible to put in a big bore kit and mikuni carb.

Hows Reliability been for you after your initial struggles ... I got my Son the Tao Cheetah and man ... its been one issue after another... not cool...

Does anyone know more about the Apollo Comander 200, it looks very similar to the Raptor 200 but the specs say its has 2 more inches of clearance than the Raptor. I cant decide between those two.
Are most of these chinese atvs parts interchangeable do know? Like taotao carb fits vitacci atv. I want to get the vitacci but most parts places i find for aftermarket carbs, cdi etc all say taotao or coolster.
I believe the parts are interchangeable.

It rides good. Need to replace the carb and exhaust. Yes I post a follow up vid tomorrow
I have the same model I bought for 400.00 not bad but I need a battery and rear disc brake. Do you know where to order these. I haven't had any luck.

They are bead lockers. So your tires don't fall off the bead ripping through the mud or woods
They're faux beadlocks? True beadlocks pinch the tire beads between the ring and the outside of the wheel

The thing is, the parts are very poor quality and have a short life, especially from the smaller brand china companies. There is missing hardware and damage as well as defective parts at times on these. Not as easy as he shares. My tme is more valuable then messing around with a few hours of assembly and down time which includes DMV title and registration that you have to do. Rather pay a bit more and buy from a legit dealer turn the key and play with all the Docs. done. Appreciate the vid.
Honestly the engines are built well the gy6 is a good long lasting little engine the worst part about these Chinese bikes are the electronics and the metal they build them out of is very cheap
