I have been seeing on our news here in Canada about this storm and all the rain. I hope you and Kate and your families are doing o.k. and don't have too much damage.
Slosh, slosh as you walk filming! I hope the animals are okay, and you didn’t have any damage. The weather everywhere is very unsettling, indeed. There is a hurricane in the Atlantic that was upgraded to a Cat 4, and could go to a Cat 5 before landfall. That will be devastating to all in its path. Stay safe, Ant. 🙏🙏. Love from Pennsylvania,USA 💕🌷🐻
Wonderful photography of your farm. My husband grew up on a farm so doesn’t fuss when it rains. Our 2+acres have little hard surface so there is room for rain to soak in over time. The sound of rain is quieting and among my childhood memories is my mother rinsing my soapy hair with rainwater. Keep safe.
It's Spring, folks, no worries. We still have a massive amount of snow in the Rocky Mountains where we live in Colorado. Just think how green everything will be in Northumberland in a few days. I'm sure it will be beautiful. Thanks, Ant!
Thank you for sharing this video. ❤ I very much enjoy getting a glimpse of your daily life there in the north of England. I’m in Minnesota, USA. Your community is beautiful.
Definitely a bit worrying as that is a great deal of water! Mother Nature is formidable! Still, the country is gorgeous, no matter the weather. Stay safe and, hopefully, dry.
2:16 Same here in Middle Earth (Warwickshire) best start making an Ark. I'm enjoying your videos and love watching you make Kate's Cabin...hoping Windy Kathleen blows some clouds away 😊
I love to see the strength of the water and weather -- but it's also terrifying - hoping all is ok for all of you and minimal damage. So much green and flowering beauty!
Where I live on Lake Superior in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, we would like some good steady rain to replace our epic lack of snow this winter. Our usual winter snowfall is 100+” and we’ve only had about 60”. We live on ancient sand dunes so we need moisture or we have to worry about increased fire risks. Most of our land up here is forests. Love seeing the daffodils.
We've been having heavy rain here in NW Louisiana for three days! My yard's a lake, and the chickens are mad because I haven't let them out of their runs! Can't wait for the sunshine! Take care, Ant!
Hiya Anthony 🌞 trust no livestock were harmed and the lake took the runoff waters quick enough so that Kates pond wasn't dammaged; also that noone had any longstanding hassles. Reminds me of the flash floods we had here last year that cut us off for a couple of days (just after the bushfires went through!) And messed up things a bit, took some topsoils away along with the vehicles; then the sun came out and except for the cleanup you wouldn't have known the rains had been so torrential! Best wishes to you all,& with your own clear up😊 Julia. J.I.M.K Mrs. Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺 ❤ 😀 🪃
Wow that's so impressive. We in New Zealand are not having any rain at the moment but in a drought. So some of that would be nice but not to damage any property or animals. Thank you for the great videos and time. Please take care and not risks.❤
Hope you are all safe we were flooded out when storm BaBet hit us at the end of October won't get back into our home till later in the year , goodness what's happening with the weather it's frightening .
Oh dear that is awful. You’ve definitely had much more rain than where I live in north Norfolk, I feel for everyone struggling with the land and flooding!
Hello Ant, My Grandpa used to call this a gully washer. He had stone walls and had pipes that rain would come right out of the wall. I had snow here on Easter and zero snow on Christmas...White Mountains of Arizona crazy weather. 😎🌵
Oh wow, is this the lake overflow??? I do hope no damage was caused. Pretty to watch running water and peaceful to hear. Beautiful countryside and the daffs are cheerful Looking . I only hope you all are safe . Thank you for sharing …❤xx
Hi Oh my god 😮😢 So scary to see the water near your home. Keep alert to your emergency service numbers if you can. My part of the uk ( down south) is just intermittently gusty. Just when you think it's subsided, and open a window,it starts up again😢 Please keep us up to date👍🙃👍🌟
I never rains on the south coast of Peru. This year we have had a few down pours. However, it always rains in the Highlands . The video made me think of home back in the UK
You wonder what is going on with the weather. Two days ago there was a light fall of snow in the Victorian ski fields and we’ve only just finished summer !!! The ski season doesn’t start for another sixty days or so here in Australia!
Boy when and if will this rain stop, I have never seen anything like it, floods that took places ages ago are still hanging around, I guess the ground is so wet, it can’t take anymore water.
I don't love that it's flooding there, but the sound of the running water is wonderful to me. I'm a 3rd generation Southern California & over the last year we got 31.7" of rain - which was about 200% of our "normal" rainfall!
all over the world crazy weather.....here in Kiel,Germany its cold like in winter................brrrrrrrrrrr................take care of you............☘☘☘
Strange weather all over the world! We are having strange weather here in the US and of course yesterday we had Solar Eclipse! Here in Texas we had a wide range of blackouts even though it was very cloudy in some places. I hope you and your family are safe from all the water.
When I moved to Richmond Virginia over 50 years ago, we had what they called 100 year floods. 3 in 5 years, they finally built a floodwall to protect the downtown area from flooding. Weather is cyclical and out of our control we have to admire the beauty of nature and the good things God has provided without thinking we have control.
I’m pretty sick of all the storms and rain we have had this winter. (I’m in Scotland). I live in a small flat with a shared entry way, and I had to find a roofer today (which wasn’t easy, they are so busy) because of rain coming in where tiles have blown off. Luckily it was coming into the shared hallway and not inside my flat, and he was able to fix it and make it watertight. I’ll sleep easier tonight.
OMGosh. I guess I should stop complaining about the rains here. I'm just so ready for warmer temperatures. I hope you and yours are staying safe and warm.
From all reports from family and friends in the UK it seems to have been non stop rain for months. Sheesh. Thankfully everyone is okay and despite that the daffies are still bright and cheerful.
Wow,we had this here in Newfoundland a couple of weeks ago, think it all ended up in my basement…Took 2 pumps to drain it…now we have snow…yes the weather is scary..
I live next to the River Trent and the fields opposite me get flooded quite often as do the paths, in fact it almost looks like a harbour at times! It's quite depressing really
Hope the overflowing water didn't damage anything. I was wondering if the ditches got clogged up causing the flooding, but then I didn't see any ditches
It is just like this down here on my country lane in West Devon. I just hope that they do not turn around again in the summer, and give us a hose pipe ban again, as we had down here last year for the whole of the summer?! xxx
Oh dear, this is downright nasty. I live in Yuma, Arizona (US) and we barely get one inch of rain a year and often wish for a good downpour, but this might be a bit much. I did love the sound of rain though as you were walking along.
At least the water can flow THROUGH the drystone walls - anything built using concrete as a "quick - fix" by unskilled people, nds up collecting the water and then there is a higher force pushing on the walls.
I have been seeing on our news here in Canada about this storm and all the rain. I hope you and Kate and your families are doing o.k. and don't have too much damage.
Hi Lisa🌹🌹
How are you doing?
the weather of the world is crazy. it's very worrying 😑
That's a lot of water on your beautiful property to eventually run off! Having lots of rain here in western NC🌧️☔️
In the U.S. we are very dry in some places. Our weather is crazy!!!
Looks a bit like Southern California after one of our storms.
There is something about watching the power of flowing water.
We call that a real gulley washer here in Texas. The yellow daffodils are just gorgeous scattered along the roadside.
Slosh, slosh as you walk filming! I hope the animals are okay, and you didn’t have any damage. The weather everywhere is very unsettling, indeed. One of my childhood memories too. The rain water butts were a precious resource.
It's still very beautiful
I’m in Perth Australia and we’ve had no rain in autumn yet and that 6 weeks into autumn 🍂
Wow a lot of rain, but then we need it.
Come the summer we may need it
It's Spring, folks, no worries. We still have a massive amount of snow in the Rocky Mountains where we live in Colorado. Just think how green everything will be in Northumberland in a few days. I'm sure it will be beautiful. Thanks, Ant!
Hi Liz a couple of days of sun and everything will be flourishing
Thank you for sharing this video. ❤ I very much enjoy getting a glimpse of your daily life there in the north of England. I’m in Minnesota, USA. Your community is beautiful.
Hi Denise🌹🌹
How are you doing?
OMG, I wonder how Kate's pond is doing, I hope the cabin is not damaged.
Thanks for your videos Ant!
The cabin is fine and well
@@ants_countrylife thanks for letting us know!
I hope the dam doesn’t overflow into Kates garden, would be treacherous. This is lovely to see though Ant, thanks for posting
Definitely a bit worrying as that is a great deal of water! Mother Nature is formidable! Still, the country is gorgeous, no matter the weather. Stay safe and, hopefully, dry.
Oh the value of a good pair of Wellies!

If only we could give you some of our rain
I agree with Kate……everyday must be Earth Day in our Hearts and Minds…..
Oh my heavens what a rain! But isn’t that sound glorious!
That's what I thought too!
Love the sound of water running & rain….. but not the kind that’s destroying your property, keep safe and hopefully not to much damage. 🇨🇦
We've been having heavy rain here in NW Louisiana for three days! My yard's a lake, and the chickens are mad because I haven't let them out of their runs! Can't wait for the sunshine! Take care, Ant!
Yes everywhere is sodden now .. sunshine required

Everything is fine at the moment thanks
@@ants_countrylife good, stay safe and secure & all with you! Julia K.
I shudder to think of the erosion this causes. I hope you and family are safe.
Love watching running water but perhaps not through broken gates and beautiful bruised dry stone walls ❤ keep safe Anthony and family.
Thanks 👍
Stay safe and dry - thinking of you and your family.
Thankyou
Just as bad here in the Welsh valleys. The power of nature is amazing.
It’s the same in Suffolk, crops washed away or dying in flooded fields.
Wow are guys are getting hammered!
Maybe you can take us to Haydon Bridge when the water recedes? A road trip!
Wow that's so impressive. We in New Zealand are not having any rain at the moment but in a drought. So some of that would be nice but not to damage any property or animals. Thank you for the great videos and time. Please take care and not risks.❤
If only I could send you Some over we have plenty as you can see
Hope you are all safe we were flooded out when storm BaBet hit us at the end of October won't get back into our home till later in the year , goodness what's happening with the weather it's frightening .
Oh dear that is awful. You’ve definitely had much more rain than where I live in north Norfolk, I feel for everyone struggling with the land and flooding!
Hopefully some warm dry weather will come soon
Wow 😮 as worrying as the volume of water is, I love the way it pours through the dry stone wall. Hopefully some of it will make it into reservoirs....
You and me both!
Hello Ant, My Grandpa used to call this a gully washer. He had stone walls and had pipes that rain would come right out of the wall. I had snow here on Easter and zero snow on Christmas...White Mountains of Arizona crazy weather. 😎🌵
We sometimes build walls with popes in to allow streams to run through them
Hope your wellies were water tight!! Powerful stuff is water...take care, keep safe and thank you for a glimpse at life up north.
😂luckily they were watertight and alls well thanks
Goodness….that’s a bit too much more isn’t it? 😱🌊
Hope everyone is safe with all that rushing water. That looks very scary to me.
Oh wow, is this the lake overflow???
I do hope no damage was caused.
Pretty to watch running water and peaceful to hear.
Beautiful countryside and the daffs are cheerful Looking .
I only hope you all are safe .
Thank you for sharing …❤xx
This is actually the water that runs in to the lake and everyone is fine thanks

Thank you for sharing. I hope there were no major damages.
None thanks
Wow you are really getting some water. I live in Maine and we are having flood tides
Love these short glimpses of nature at work.
Glad you like them!
Everything looks green and lush. Love the daffodils!
In some parts of the U.S. we call that a "gully washer." 😊
We call it the same in some parts of the

It’s all very mixed up at the moment
Oh my goodness Ant…that’s so much water…and it must be annoying to you that rubbish is always just there in your glorious space…🥰🇦🇺
I know it was chaos and then today it has all gone
Oh wow and that water bubbling up out of the ground! Yikes! Hope your home was safe.
Yes thank you all safe
Wow, such a gully washer of rain. I’m sure the sheep head for the high country. Is this your raining season there?
Oh my!! So beautiful I’m in northern New Mexico USA. We have similar rain experiences when it does rain 🌧️. Especially during monsoon season.
👍👍👍
Boy when and if will this rain stop, I have never seen anything like it, floods that took places ages ago are still hanging around, I guess the ground is so wet, it can’t take anymore water.
Beautiful, but I hope it doesn't flood often.
I don't love that it's flooding there, but the sound of the running water is wonderful to me. I'm a 3rd generation Southern California & over the last year we got 31.7" of rain - which was about 200% of our "normal" rainfall!

I think everyone is feeling the same a bit of sun will help and I’m glad you managed to get your roof fixed
I’ve never seen so much flooding in the uk as this spring’s visit
OMGosh. I guess I should stop complaining about the rains here. I'm just so ready for warmer temperatures. I hope you and yours are staying safe and warm.
I think everyone in many countries are ready for some sun and warm weather
Wow!
Oh my gosh!
From all reports from family and friends in the UK it seems to have been non stop rain for months. Sheesh. Thankfully everyone is okay and despite that the daffies are still bright and cheerful.
Roll on some warm sunny days
Had similar running past my front door most of the day. So long as it keeps going and doesn't gather there, no concerns 😂
That's a lot of water. It's raining a lot in the Netherlands too, but recently not that much.
Hopefully this will be the last for a while
Hope that your dry stone wall repairs are still holding up!
All are fine thanks
Crazy weather, it's the opposite here in Malta, we need rain 🙏
Oh hell I wish I could send you some
I'll say, we have had the wets summer I have ever seen in all my years n now we are going into winter down here in new Zealand ☺️
I’m hoping for some warm dry weather now as it seems to have gone on forever here too
It's been pretty rainy here where I live in northern Iraq. It's always cool to get a glimpse of someone else's view.
Hi Erin we’ve certainly had our fair share of rain now
Hope you are all well
Thanks yes we’re fine
Wow,we had this here in Newfoundland a couple of weeks ago, think it all ended up in my basement…Took 2 pumps to drain it…now we have snow…yes the weather is scary..
I hope you managed to get all dried out
I live next to the River Trent and the fields opposite me get flooded quite often as do the paths, in fact it almost looks like a harbour at times! It's quite depressing really
I can imagine how awful it is we have fields here with sheep and cattle in that flood too
Were ya' walking with a GoPro in your Bellies? It was very smooth for a moving video. Happy Spring!
It was just hand held camera thanks
Just terrible, we have had so much rain this year in Ireland as well
Hope the overflowing water didn't damage anything. I was wondering if the ditches got clogged up causing the flooding, but then I didn't see any ditches
Hi it’s just the sheer volume of constant rain and high water tables that means there’s no where for it to soak in so it just runs in the streams
It is just like this down here on my country lane in West Devon. I just hope that they do not turn around again in the summer, and give us a hose pipe ban again, as we had down here last year for the whole of the summer?! xxx
I know it’s all or nothing
Is this where you were repairing the stone fence?
No this is opposite my house
Water water water everywhere…. The next thing they’ll be telling us there a drought !!!!
Oh dear, this is downright nasty. I live in Yuma, Arizona (US) and we barely get one inch of rain a year and often wish for a good downpour, but this might be a bit much. I did love the sound of rain though as you were walking along.
Luckily there is no damage thank you
Wouldn’t we love that much water in Utah.😮
I wish I could send it over to you we’ve had plenty now
How are the stone walls doing?
Everything is fine at the moment
Here it went from -5 to 22 ina single day.. very worrying!!
Absolutely
At least the water can flow THROUGH the drystone walls - anything built using concrete as a "quick - fix" by unskilled people, nds up collecting the water and then there is a higher force pushing on the walls.
Very true
Oy! Too much, too fast! The rock wall will come apart, no?🤦🏻♀️🙏
Same here near Marietta Ohio, USA. Stay safe!
I hope it’s not heading towards your house!!!
Luckily it’s on the opposite side of the road to my house
