Painting the Backdrop on our F scale Garden Railroad

- As we continue the work on the F scale (1:20.3) indoor-outdoor garden railroad at garagemahal we continue painting the backdrop AND build the first benchwork outside.
Karyn also carves a tiny wood train AND we plant boxwood.
As we continue to be socially distanced by COVID 19 we are getting a lot done on modeling projects. But mostly the indoor-outdoor large scale railroad. Over the last 3 weeks, we have been painting the scenery, mountains and trees as well as accidental roads and ponds. And whatever just happens as we work!! Almost done, then onto the indoor benchwork.
AND speaking of benchwork we have started on the outdoor benchwork in the area we call "The Grapevine". We also had laid about 50 feet of temp track just to test the track plan and make sure everything fits!
We have always said the backdrop needs to come first, in many if not most cases people put it off to the end when the backdrop is difficult or even impossible to access. BUT with a bit of planning and sticking to a plan, the backdrop can go in before the benchwork when it's easy to work on.
So far we have been working in the switching yard, but the yard lead extends into the shops, so we need to get the benchwork in there before we can finish the yard. SO, the time has come to finish the huge backdrop.
Good morning! Your talents are amazing! Thanks gor another great video!
great video liked 👍😮🙂
Hi thanks!!! Fun but geeee hard! Be glad to get back to laying track
After teaching art for over fifty years, I can say that you are doing a great job. Diving in and painting is the best way to learn. Be fearless!!!
Color mixing shouldn't scare you. You need those three primary colors we've all heard about: yellow, blue, and magenta (red) , plus black and white. Only five bottles not dozens.
Next, you need to understand the three properties of color:
Hue (The starting color from the color wheel)
Intensity (The cleanness or dirtiness of the color. Dirty a color by adding its opposite from the color wheel)
Value (The lightness or darkness which is controlled by adding black or white)
It's really that easy, It just takes a little practice. I'd bet seeing you and Karyn try some basic color mixing would encourage other beginners to try. BE FEARLESS!!!!!!!
Hi and thank you! Mixing colors is so tricky with these patients because they change so much as they dry. That is to say some of them do! The acrylics not only change shade but they just slightly change hew. Our black paint is blue in the bottle. The purple is also blue. Mostly they darken. But the chalk paints lighten!
Great update show. The backdrop is outstanding but it is Karyn's train that steals the show. One little slip of the carving tool and there would be 4 inches of kindling. Greg and Jeanne.
Hi. Hope you are well!!!!! Gas this year keeps surprising us. Don collapsed 2 days ago. Deep vain thrombosis caused a heart attack. And we can’t visit cause COVID lockdown of all hospitals. The lad needs to retire and finish his brass locomotives. America will be safe without his brain making black boxes. Stay safe there!!!!
Great job on the backdrop! Well done! Our HO scale train club members can learn a lot about how to paint our backdrops. Yes, we have to preserve the knees!
I must admit it can be really frustrating. But fun. And if you just keep on it it works in the end.
Happy Sunday to my 2 favorite talented Funsters!! 😁
Happy Sunday! It’s Tuesday now.. The time flies when one is doing a fav hobby!
Amazing how the backdrop starts off and then just comes together, even though, at times, you probably think it wont. It will be interesting to see how you model the big white pointing hand to follow the trains round outside!!! ;-) ;-) ;-)
Yeah, I liked that big pointing hand too!😊
There was literally one point where I threw my paintbrush and walked away. Called Rob Spangler and said I give up you got to come help he laughed and said you’ll figure it out. Guess he was right. Determination and persistence are important in all things
The little train is just cool.
I just left Karen‘s little tiny trains carved out of wood. This one is actually quite large for her she usually carts them out of pencil leads.
You two are artists. I can't believe how incredible it looks. You keep saying I was happy with the way that came out, you should definitely be happy with what you have. It's amazing how nice it is. The little locomotive carving and diorama is really awesome. The plaques for the outside backdrop are very nice and fit good.
Stay well. -Wil 👍
Hi and thanks!!! Worked on it for hours today and it’s almost finished! The inside backdrop that is! Did a tiny amount of work on the outside and put together but your liner for the tunnel
Love the look of all of it so far !!! It's a gas. Havn't heard that in a day or too, but I am on board !!
As a child I wanted to grow up to be a beat Nick. Seriously! I love Beatnix. Although is a true aficionado I would have to say there’s no such thing that was always a slur. The real expression is beats they were the beats
Yall are such talented artists. Can't wait to see the finished RR.
Us too. But mostly the fun of building it.
O can’t wait to see it finished can’t wait!!!!!
Us too!
The backdrop is coming along great !!! Barry
Almost finished today
Seeing y'alls videos just makes me happy and I look forward to seeing them every day, keep up the great work guys. Your also doing a super good job on that layout, I'm really looking forward to the finished product!
Hope to finish that big backdrop this week. Gee what a project
I love the backdrop!! Fantastic work you two. I'm a fellow Artist, I painted one of the murals in our Rock Springs pedestrian tunnel. The mural has the side of the UP train depot, a UP engine and rail cars, the big tree out front and the memorial of all the coal miners who lost their lives. It's a 4x8 sheet of wood. Man was that fun to paint!! 😀❤️❤️ Keep up the great work!
We were just working today on the backdrop over garagemahall it’s almost finished. I put in some little scenes in today was a hobo camp and finishing up the Shay coming down from the mine. Still need to dry in the mindframe and a few other details and finish up about 100 trees and then we’re done
@@ToyManTelevision Your layout is going to look so awesome! And 100 trees, wow! Do you make them? I discovered how to utilize all the sagebrush we have in WY, ya, I make HO scale trees with the dried branches. They actually look real because of the texture of the branches. A little spray adhesive and foliage and viola! :)
Crystal Letson hi. No I mean yes, these are painted on the backdrop. But yes we have a bunch of miniature trees. Actually karyn has made about 50 trees that are about 1/2 to 1/4 inch to go along the ridge line on the backdrop so the sunset silhouettes them. Cool look!!!!!
@@ToyManTelevision I sent you an email. Yes, it is a business inquiry. I am letting you know, in case it ends up in your spam folder. Thank you!
Wow! Looking SO GOOD!!! Wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing! Great to see you both doing so well!
These are some really challenging times aren’t they? Anyway we get by with a lot of help from friends. This is been a frustrating process but it’s finally coming together thanks to great advice from people
Looks great. I really like the videos you are making on the garden railroad. Keep posting them!
Will do!
The painted backdrop looks very realistic and inviting. I love it! Well done! ...Roy
Hi!!! Thanks. Love your layout. Anyway thanks!!!!!
Thank you for sharing. Love your mountains. Great to see you paint back drops before installing bench work.
Almost everyone does it the other way around it ends up really regretting it. Put the temptation is to get trains running as fast as humanly possible and then come back and try to fix the problems and that’s just really get in the cart so far out ahead of the horse but there’s no saving it
Thank you for sharing a nice time!👍. Regards Stephen.
Thanks for watching!!! Stay safe
Glad to see it’s looking good!!
Thanks. Started over on a section today! But it’s better this way.
Loving the progress!
Thanks
That backdrop looks amazing and Karyn's little train is awesome, great work as always, thank you for another fun and inspiring video
Rick B aka Plastic butcher
Hi hope everything’s well there. We are really getting a lot done skipping around and just doing crazy things. But we really are trying to avoid getting too much out in public even though everybody else seems to be Anxious to do that. No matter we’re having fun and getting a lot done
The layout is looking great, Keep up the good work
Thanks!!
Looks very nice great job . thank you.Have a great week
You too!
Great video of your F Scale layout.
Hi. And thanks. Stay safe!!
Do you ever Sleep?...haha. Your progress is coming along beautifully. Keep in mind the "light" source (angle of the Sun) for high lights and Shadows. The miniature Train carving is true folk art. I always enjoy your videos.
Hi and thanks. We do try to keep in mind the sun angle. But we also cheat!!
Love the way you both did this. The little distance between the sky and the mountains in which you put your LEDs is an idea I will certainly copy on my own layout. Thanks for your marvelous and definitely not boring videos.
Vincent Huijing thanks!! We were planning to update on Sunday but we just received old video on vans “backyard” railroad so we are going with that. The update will be a week from Sunday. Thanks!!
I really like the backdrop buildings for your outside layout, very neat stuff.
Really neat old wall art. But better as a backdrop
@@ToyManTelevision
What is f scale?
WOW, I am truly impressed with the progress. Seeing your background painting with the snow caped mountains I felt a chill in my body and felt like I was really standing there seeing it for real. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing the finished product. Loved the little train.
Hi and thanks for the kind words. I am really really tempted to hook up power to the outside track and drive a train back and forth. In fact I’m planning on it. I’ve been against it because I know as soon as I start driving trains around I’ll stop doing everything else
Oh and technically one doesn’t drive a train one operates it I know that
The extra mountain almost looks like the "Lonely Mountain" from the Lord of the Rings movies. Love the paint work!
Thanks!!! Been on the logging railroad for months. Back to this area soon. Logging almost finished.
@@ToyManTelevision I love the logging line too, love the videos all!
That is beautiful!
Almost done!!!!
I am so happy to see your progress, it is looking great! Vaya con Dios my friends!
This is really coming together with a lot of good advice from friends and even subscribers here on the channel. There was a time when I was ready to give up but it is coming together!
Very nice backdrop, well done.
Thanks!!!!
Great progress! Enjoy!
Hi. And thanks!!
Wow you guys do such a great Job. I just got back into my Ho trains, I really enjoyed the video and I can't wait to see your layout finished. I hope you all are blessed and happy
Kerry Kerner
G thank you! Going into this when I knew we were in way over our heads but with help in guidance from our friends we’ve actually been able to make this work I think
Well you’re creating quite a work of art! Looks very realistic! Stay safe👍✌️😊🙏🏼🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
Thanks. And you stay safe too!
It came out really nice.
So far so good! Making a big change to it later today I hope. Kind of rethought the far right section
looks real good!
Thanks!!!!
Pretty good backdrop guys!
Thanks!!!! Almost done.
Sure look N good as are you 2, you have a Great Channel love the History..
Thanks!!!
That looks fantastic, having been up in that area a little bit what you have done looks a lot like what I remember. As for adding a couple of mountains... who cares it's your layout. You are right what you did did give it a Cascade Mountains feel, more like the east side of them.
When I took art class way back when what Robby was trying to get through didn't click for me, but the way you are showing it now makes it click. No I'm planning in painting scenery on the side of my aircraft when it's done. :-)
Thanks for sharing this with us this journey is interesting.
There are times when it’s so frustrating. Other times when it just goes smoothly. The proverbial happy accident! But the more we do it the easier it gets
Bob Ross is smiling seeing all your “happy accidents”!
I count on them.
Looking good TM
Thanks! Almost ready for benchwork
I have to say it looks really, really great! Fun Video!
Thanks!
Thank you Dale and Karyn, that was fantastic. Only a true Artist would appreciate the detail and patience exhibited in every one of your endeavours. Your backdrops are smashing! You could take a lot of artistic tips from Michael James Smith, also on TH-cam, under that same name. He's a fantastic English Artist, who has loads of patience, and lovely videos too. I've learnt a lot from him, and can see some resemblance of his techniques too, in your masterpiece! It's my suggestion, that you visit his site to get some inspiration on painting landscapes on your future backdrops. This video deserves the credit that you're due, "Hats off to both of you, on everything, backdrop, layout, wood carving, grape vine, and for an overall really spell binding video." Thank you for sharing! God bless! Looking good Dale, and Karyn! Stay blessed!
I am going to go look for that right away. I have not heard of it but sounds really good. So much of what we’ve done here we’ve gotten from our Train friends Steve Robby and Gil. Interesting that all three of them paint very differently but still do a lot of things exactly the same. So it was the stuff they do exactly the same but I really wanted to focus on assuming that those must be the really good ideas. Well thank you very very much and you stay safe and stay well. I’m going to go look for those videos.
Dale, you are so kind! Karyn, now we know how the two of you get on like a house on fire! It's amazing, how fragile life really is, but moments like this make it so much stronger and nicer. You guys, and your zest for life, set a great example for so many of us. Thank you for all that you do!
Wow, Mr. and Mrs. Van Gogh, excellent work, hope you keep your ears!
He actually only cut off his ear lobe. I understand he was quite the nut who stunk of body odor. Anyway great artist! We are struggling to get this to work watching her own videos on the subject over and over again and actually figuring something out just based on our own videos on the subject! Sort of a test
Aren't those happy accident great it's looking wonderful keep up the awesome work you will be running trains in no time 👍👍
Grape video! You two have done a-masonite-ingly well in producing a fine backdrop. I guess the mountains will Cascade into the nice little pond. You have a lot on the horizon to look forward too and in casa you make a mistake you can just tunnel into the past and use your sage wisdom to make it happen. Happy landskaping!
Hi. Really looking forward to getting onto the bench work. Backdrop is almost done to
That looks like some sturdy and expensive outdoor bench work. Seth does good work. It's coming together beautifully. Bob Ross is smiling from above! I was skeptical about your painting talent but you have proved me wrong. :) :) :) Looks great!!
I keep changing my mind on things and now we’re going to widen the bench work slightly.
Exciting! A lot of work but everything seems to be taking shape. You two have much more talent and skill than I do...or maybe just more time!
We worked on it today and it was very frustrating. We are actually redid a section of the high Ridge. I took a saw and cut it down because I just thought it was too tall and I’m glad we did. But it’s frustrating!
HAPPY ACCIDENTS ARE THE BEST YOU BOTH ARE SO GOOD TOGETHER. LOOKS AWESOME NICE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO AND. ITS AWESOME GOOD STUFF ENJOY THE LAYOUT. JIM KAMMERER OF PHILADELPHIA PA THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO AND YOUR TIME BE SAFE AND CAREFUL IN YOUR AREA. 👌👍
Yes things have gotten a little bit nuts around here if the virus is really taking off. Which just gives us even more reason to stay inside and work on the train, which is what we’ve been doing anyway. We’re now up to seven of our friends having had this horrible virus.
I’m so glad to see the progress you’ve both made! Great job on the back drop as well!!
Thanks. Frustrating day today. We are working on a section we have done 3 times!! But getting it this time.
Toy Man Television glad to hear your getting the hang of it though!
Looking forward to seeing this project come together. New sub!
Hi. And thanks!! More coming
great updates! As a painter and sculptor (I also teach those things at the High school level) I must say you are doing a great job! It's funny because I always start massing out in mid tones then push and pull between lights and darks. But your results are great. Oh - love the outdoor back drop idea as well as the mini train. You have really nice combos of 2D/3D and forced perspective.
Hi. Yup we start mid. Then go dark. Then light. But then back dark and so on. But it only hoses well as we paint the light onto dark.
You all are cool man
Gee thanks!!!
YOU ARE BOTH TALENTED PEOPLE WHO ARE ENJOYING YOUR SCREWING AROUND TIME. AWESOME GOOD VIDEO THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO AND YOUR TIME VERY INTERESTING AND INFORMATIVE THANK YOU. JIM KAMMERER OF PHILADELPHIA PA. 👌
Will you stay safe there in Philly! Someday we really want to come and check that place out but first we have to get this stupid virus behind us
Fantastic
Thanks. So far so good but boy is it challenging
Awesome artwork to your backdrop that really stitches everything together as a perspective addition to your layout, I cant wait to see this all progress and then see trains run. Im in the UK and modelling the british type of scene in the 50/60's to 00 scale so this is a a really interesting diversion. Keep up the great work 🙂
I’d love to see your railroad! Actually we would love to get to great Britain and we were planning to this summer until COVID-19 sidetracked everything. Anyway stay safe and enjoy that railroad
Great work. Coming along nice. 👍
Hi from the flatlands of Michigan. Cool mountain demonstration. 😎 but my wife is from Ouray, Colorado. 🚂
I will see you guys have a much easier when it comes to painting a backdrop! A lot of blue sky a lot of clouds and a wee bit of corn or wheat. Or just something green with a few trees.
Great video of the backdrop looks stunning ,and amazing skill at carving that train !
Hello Merv! Boy has this been a challenge and really frustrating. I called up Spangler and said I give up you got to come finish it for me and he laughed and said you’re on your own figure it out. I’m glad he did. A bit of determination and persistence goes a long way
Wow you are getting a lot done, I love seeing how the backdrop is born. Can't wait to see more.
I’m never quite sure what to do next but as soon as I get the spec drop whipped into shape definitely put up the bench work for the engine shop. But at the same time having a lot of fun working outside. Can’t go wrong one way or the other it’s all fun
Thx again
Thanks for watching
Lots of progress. Definitely not watching paint dry. Back drop looks great! See you on Tuesday.
Displaying Als cars Tuesday
Toy Man Television Looking forward to it.
Progress looks great and im hoping to see more of that garden railway, im liking the stores they look very nice...
Hi. Yup we are already rethinking the grapevine but only a bit. I want double track with a reverse loop crossover. And the wood is bending. So more support
@@ToyManTelevision Hi, let the wood bend, I did aĺot of flex wire on the track about 10' a time,,,
First class work! I’ve always been a fan of photo backdrops, mostly because I’m not so much an artist as engineer. You do, however, make this look very approachable and you would have encouraged me to try it. Thanks.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride woodcarvers daughter didn't see that one coming then again that Talent comes from somewhere you two stay safe looking good progress is a astounding !!!
We have a house full of her father’s carvings. The really amazing
Looks awesome
Great stuff! You have given me a few ideas.I need to get some hardboard and make profile mountains.I will leave a 1" gap for the led's. I am doing the bavarian alps but same principal. This will be behind the Sonnefeld station,Lime and cement works.Keep having fun!
I really love this effect, I have never seen it on a model railroad but had seen it in restaurants. Tried it on my upper logged in line and loved it so now we’re doing it down here
I HAVE BEEN DYING FOR AN UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next week update on Steve. Week after update on Adam after his brush with COVID.
Looking good ny friend
Hi gunny. Hope you are well and safe. We had great plans to travel this summer. Ha! Anyway as we are in we are productive. Worked again today on the backdrop but mostly the kitchen! So we are staying busy!! Just home. Sigh. Anyway hope you and yours are well.
At 1:40, my gut says, if this is what these people can do with a 9" roller, I am not in their league.
At 4:15, I am convinced I have no place with this painting business.
At 15:25, your portal reminds me: I crafted a large plaster (don't judge me!) tunnel for our Christmas tree layout. My son (then is 3rd grade) painted it. I made the topography. _He_ made it realistic. Like Harry Callahan said, _"A man's got to know his limitations."_
Fun knows no limitations. Just do it. Love it. Have fun. Then you gave it right.
Toy Man Television - right. When it's work you stop.
I could tell the underlying theme of this show is "screw around until you find your happy accident."
I am content with my abilities. I remain impressed with those whose talents lie in paint. (And who can carve a whole train out of a stick.)
The layout is looking amazing!!! It will defentally turn out cool! For a Tuesday show could you do one of your galaping gooses?
Yes! Should.
Oddly enough I have a knack for mixing my own colors. I have never had issues with that, I guess some folks have it and others don't. I wouldn't say it's a gift li,e a talent but, with years of experience, practice and mistakes you do get good at it. I also spent 4 years in a graphic arts shop working on printing plate negatives. This was back in the 1980s just before the desktop explosion when graphics went from cutting and exposing film to make offset negative es for printing plates in the four colors.
These are tricky! The black is blue but dries black. Most colors darken as they dry, a few get lighter. None stay the same!
great job and fun coming up. when i had mine outside on stilts and thru building i could sit there for hours and just watch it go. much entertainment for some reason. i have alot of track to sale now. 3 tracks wide by 12 by 48ft. also about 10 no 6 or 8 turnouts. i actually want to sale it all to someone. brand new mib santa fe blue/yellow gp38s mag 15 trans and many hopper cars, double stacks. located in very center USA. my injury changed me and life is all.
I had a huge ground level rail road so I’m 15 years ago and I saved all the track and that’s what I’m reusing, about 600 feet of aluminum rail track. I wouldn’t normally use aluminum again it isn’t very good but as I have it I may as well use it
@@ToyManTelevision i would also. you make some fun tv with your girl there. all my track is soild brass. Fun to watch you build one. I kinda forgot. I ran aristos first ab set over 600 actual miles, then sold them to Florida. Only one plastic drive gear was ground out. It is alot of fun. My tip would be make a place to park for storage,so you can walk away when done. Take care neighbors. some vids offer p.o.box so we can mail stuff.then they film opening them once a month. hint
Beautiful job. "his knees are better than ours." Isn't that true anymore?
Good and knees... oxymoron? Ouch!!
Wow
WOW... a big change from not being able to figure it out a month or so ago to this. Very good work!
Another decision looming is do you leave the rolling stock looking like brand new out of the box or do you weather it all to make it look more like the equipment was rode hard and put away wet? Ditto for the structures...
I always whether things a little bit. Never go all the way to junkyard dog or rarely. But a bit of dust and grime go a long way just haven’t gotten anything on these cars yet but soon
@@ToyManTelevision Good. I do like grime on all my stuff except the passenger varnish. All my structures have some sort of powder on their roofs. Also, I would have alligator clipped a power pack to the temporary track and ran an engine on it just for fun.
I always wanted to do a small T scale line way out there in the mountains, like miles away, running across the backdrop?
I tried for years trying to get my background right myself and I just couldn't draw. Had to call my artist cousin to help...the artistic gene skipped me apparently. Great progress guy 👍
Are you going to hand lay the tracks in your backyard?
Hi. Nope. The track you see, micro Engineering ties and aluminum rail. Because I have about 600 feet of it from my old layout. Sometime I may switch out to nickel rail. But for now use what I have.
Try plywood over the plank bed and treat it with some deck sheild, or paint to water proof it, that will help with the bending wood , did on mine...
That sounds like an excellent fix!
One thing I do to keep track of color mixing is to make color chips when I mix a new color yIou might need to use again. I get a pad of acid-free bristol board and make a paint chip when I make a color I like or might need to use again. On the back I write the paints I used and an approximate ratio of the mix. I save them in a notebook for reference later. The reason I use acid-free board is because the acid (bleaching agent) is what causes the board to turn yellow and alter what the mixed color looks like as the chip ages.
Yes I’m afraid I’m a hopeless Winger of stuff! I just wing it all the time. A dab of this and a dab of that put it on the backdrop and hope that it looks good. Because I say it’s tricky because most of these paint darken as they dry. The chart based paint to actually get a little bit lighter!
Excellent progress and great to finally see something outside!
What is the size of your outdoor space and what diameter are you making your loops?
The outside section is about 70 x 40’ curves I am putting in our 72 inch radius. Hopefully all of that will suffice can’t really fit very much in even in such a large space. But it will be fun
Dale and Karen,
We!l done!!!! Dale quick question looking at your outside frame work are you going to scratch-build structure's to fit or is it only going to be just track outside.
Some structures on the north end. That’s a razed planter 4 feet wide. So a few structures and plantings.
Dale, I am getting ready to start my On30 layout. I've not seen anyone layer the mountains onto the backdrop with another piece of hardboard. Can you share a bit more on that and did it make the impact/look you were desiring? Also, did you use 1/4 or 1/8 for the mountains and did you taper the edge?
1/8. No taper. Yea you can see the edge but not really a bad look. I tru to keep the edge above eye line then you can’t see it.
well it is start but does look awsome. a happy accident. really Bob Ross moments :) don't write your name and date for artist style :D just like a painting :D
by the pond you must try cloud as reflection on the water?
I’m trying to reflect the trees. I hope!!
@@ToyManTelevision i wish you good luck :)

I’m thinking 2 more days on this then on to benchwork
Hay guys are y’all going to get a golden spike made for you railroad
Yep I think we should. In our scale we could actually have it made of gold and it wouldn’t cost that much.
I'll be back-dropping one of these days and your dark first- lighter after
OOPS! I meant dark to light tip will be a great help. Thx!
In some places I got really carried away with the idea of going dark first. But boy is it easier when you’re painting lighter colors over darker colors which is sort of the opposite of what were used to doing ever since we picked up a crayon or pencil. But when you’re painting something that’s absolutely essential
Hey I am thinking of starting an outdoor g/f scale layout. Do you have any recommendations for a type of track I should use?
I’m using aluminum rail on micro engineering ties but I don’t recommend it. I like the micro engineer in ties but I’m not keen on the aluminum rail at all it’s just that I have 600 feet of this stuff so I might as well reuse it! But if I had it to do over again I do use brass rail is a no it’s a lot more expensive
Toy Man Television thanks I really appreciate your videos they are fun and are very helpful to me.
What do you consider to be the golden age of American railroading?
Gee. There are several eras. I’m a 1870 fan. The opening of the west. But the early iron.. interesting. But the end of steam. 1945. I’d go with that.
To me, the golden age of American railroading would be from the 1820s to the late 1950s.
FUN STUFF!!!
Frustrating but almost done.
Not Casa Colarado?
I like the sound of that! However, I am at Castle Roca after Steve said it looks like your house is kind of funny. But it’s fun going around and moving all the mountains
I got a McDonald's notification while you where talking about notifications.
Noted.
A tunnel is fun until the train derails in side
Yes I have two general rules about that one never lay track where you can’t reach it easily and that includes inside the tunnel. So if the tunnel is long it better have some sort of access door and not something you have to crawl underneath to get to.
