    How far is that Tom? It looks to be a decent walk. Did you have a pint or two when you got back?

      Hello Barry.
      I think it's about a 4-mile walk.
      I expected it to take 2 hours, but it ended up being closer to 3 hours - partly through waiting for ferries.
      A bit of a pull in places, but it is a good walk

    How old is this path?

      I believe that Fowey was mentioned in the Domesday Book, and that was written in 1086, so I'd imagine that the paths have been in existence since at least that period, probably a lot longer.
      I had to look it up! - but it's been known by its current name since the 16th century.
