When you were telling how you were able to be a part of the competition I started getting teary eyed. What a great experience, and now you can plan for next year. Shorty sure is a great horse. He loves his excursions with you. His rolling in the dirt made me chuckle. He's a character just like you Amry. You are two peas in a pod. I was hoping that you could win some money, but maybe next time. After all, it was short notice to be prepared for it. Don't be discouraged, your time in the winner's circle is coming. I can feel it. Thank you Dad and Cisco for supporting Amry on her adventure. She's still a winner in my book!!!
Thank you so much Sheryl 🥹❤️ You are so kind and I am so blessed to have people like you in my corner! Shorty is so special to me and you see that! Next time we will be in the winner circle 🙌
Thank you for sharing this road trip. So proud of you & Cisco! Shorty is the bomb! Big beautiful powerhouse. I hadn't seen him rope before & he's awesome to watch. Just seeing this, I was cheering out loud, "get him Amry"! Your Dad is a great supporter, too. Next year!🌵❣️
SO happy y'all got to go and have this experience! I, for one (& quite sure not THE only), feel you two did OK for a spur of the moment escapade with no forewarning practice leading up to the event. Now you'll be prepared to bring home some cash and buckles/saddles next time 'round. Keep swinging them ropes...🙂

Hi again AMRY What a way cool last minute surprise! That is a fantastic new event and great fun to get in from the beginning. Nice to find out you've got horses that can qualify through the studs! If ya don't try you'll never know is my thought always! Now you'll know the ropes for next time and you can really prepare for it. Super fun to just go to the facility there huh?! Also a wonderful thing to do all together making more special memories... Seeing Shorty upclose wow! He's a dandy Amry! What's his breeding how old? Thx as always for sharing. You did a super job commenting and explaining everything. Catcha again soon...
Hi CC! Thanks for coming along ☺️ It was a super fun trip. You are right, just to go travel and check out this awesome facility made the trip worth it. Great points, now we know how to prepare for next year. I am biased but Shorty is the best ☺️ He is 11 years old, his Sire is Show Me A Song Joes and his Dam is Hombres Goldbaroness. Catcha next time ☺️
As many times I’ve been to the lazy E I’ve never seen that little cafe area. Lazy E is a real nice place, it’s a good thing the event wasn’t this weekend super windy and think it barely made it out of the 30s for the high lol.
We noticed people getting food and started getting hungry ourselves so we went searching ha! It is a really nice facility. So glad it wasn't too cold this weekend!
Yo u guys don't need to beat your self up about not winning. You got your names out there and that counts! Your horses were great! Subscribers do you have any ear muffs for Cisco? 😆🥶🥶❤👍🐎🐎I love competitions!
Oh thank you so much Karen! That is a great point ☺️ HAHA I might have to add that to our wish list 🤣 gotta keep Cisco warm! Thanks for coming along ❤️
Hey, great job at the roping. Wished I had known that you guys were in town I would have loved to come up and watch you compete and maybe even say hello and see you all in person. Just an old man that is a big fan. Good luck and God bless you down the road.

@@cnahorses Awe, your so welcome Amry 😘 I will forever be in your corner sweet pea. It was just so exciting to see you at this HUGE roping 😃 I'm so happy you guys got to experience that. I have some very dear friends (in fact she's who taught me how to rope) anyway they go to the roping in Vegas every year at 4 corners around NFR time. Wow, it sounds like a really fair set up! And if it's fair, it'll be FUN, eh? I betcha it will become a big deal going forward. And now you gotta whole year to practice! ;)
Just finished watching. It is an experience for sure. Have to go to those big ones. There are usually a lot of jackpots going on around there so you get to rope and get a groove before you rope in the big pen. Take a couple of extra days next time might be beneficial to your competitiveness. Your horses were fine, just another day in the roping pen for them. Amry is Shorty more of a Head Horse or a Heel Horse? I have been to visit the Lazy E Arena a few years ago, I had wanted to see it. Do you think you will ever want to try doing Cutting, Reining , or Cow Horse events?
Shorty does pretty good on both side ☺️ I am a better header tho... That is awesome. Lazy E is a legit facility. I would like to try them sometime!! They all look super fun
I think you had a good experience. A bit of stretch is good for all of us. I wonder if the steers hadn't been trained for the arena. They had little git up and go when they left their chute.
