One of those more subtle, gentler jams that grows on you each time you listen. I like how Trey doesn’t hog the floor… when he does play it doesn’t overshadow the others and there is good balance in the band. I’ve noticed this more this tour and I’m really digging it.. light and fluffy jams like this are great to play at work or in the car
Well I glad you found phish. The other part, I’m not sure what you mean. Maybe I’m “that” elitist ahole that’s seen over a hundred shows but it’s never about overplaying another member. Does Trey play too many note? Ask Cactus lol… but seriously, glad you jumped in, waters nice.. now go listen to a S&SS for that nice balance
It has been years since I've been to a show or have kept up to speed with the 'Phish World.' Giving a listen I can not believe the enthusiasm, positivity and just how damn good these guys are sounding. Thanks for posting these 4K HDR clips.

I should have gone but Toronto was gonna suck i just knew it based on last time but OH BOY I was so F ing wrong And best shirts of the fab 4 NICE New Shirt Page that is cool looking Great song great show!!!! I was there, first show. Had such a wonderful time but my sister and cousin had a panic attack. Please do more Canada shows, come to Bell Center in Montreal!!!!!
My first show too! I'm older than dirt( I remember when it used to be clean!😂), but I'm a relatively new Phan. Went by myself, "dropped" for the first time in decades, and had an amazing time! I won't miss these guys again if they play Toronto/Ottawa/Montreal. I'm sorry to hear of the panic attack experience. That can really impinge on ones' ability to enjoy the show. I hope they don't give up, and enjoy the next show as we would hope. At least this show was "yours to remember" pendant que " je me decouvert"! (A Bon Cop, Bad Cop trailer reference for my Quebecois cousins. 😁) 🐠 Edit - you suggested the Bell Centre, but an outdoor venue might be better for someone who's experiencing anxiety Just food for thought.
43 comments....my street address...where I'm at tonight? After my own hiatus with near 200 under my belt, in the dirt...I think it might be time to come back and find myself again. Bring my kids this time, live selves rather than in utero. This band just catches me every so often. I walk away for awhile but always come back here, just how I am. Like the misfits. Did my first jump with an indigo Mohawk and a studded belt, with a girl called mystery, it was a horde in Hershey in 96 one day when i fell into this. Mystery, with rings on her fingers and bells on her shoes. That part might not be mystical anymore, but Man to feel that way again...to be in that transient space...oh my!
Good, not great. Love Phish and after 29 years of listening, its worth the critique with no disrespect. So glad for Summer Tour 2022 and that we are able to enjoy this music almost 40 years later. That said, 2-25-03 owns the the title as the best Theme. I was there, upper deck, back of the Spectrum and it was surreal. What did that Theme have? Its stayed true to the song structure and it reached multiple peaks, then the Type II stuff, okay. My only critique on this Theme, and much of the Summer 2022 big jam contenders, is that the jam does not connect with the song. Start Theme at 5:14. This could be Blaze On, Scents and Subtle Sounds, or Free. This is (good) ambient jamming with no connection to the song structure. Just stay true to the piece a little longer before diving into a soundscape that could be from any song in your repertoire. Glad I attended this show, it was a sleeper of the Tour. It seemed this night was full of similar jams like this. In the end, I still enjoyed myself tremendously.
As amazing as he is, Trey always seems to have a tiny bit of trouble with the lead-up to the solo of this song. Great version though. One of my fave tunes...well, all of them are, actually. Trey's massive rig change has given him even more sonic flexibility for complex jams.
@@ericriffe607 Come on - that’s a bit harsh. The guy can play and sing probably 200 songs at any given moment. Do I have to remind you of the Baker’s Dozen? (237 songs/13 shows). Show some respect man. He messed up but cleaned it up quickly.
@@phowell333 Man....I love me some phish. Not my fav tour in 22. And you have to admit....the composed sections can be problematic. The bakers dozen was, of course, epic.
Trey is a Jedi Master to be sure. Let's acknowledge Trey as perhaps the all-time greatest rock improvisationalist (Jerry & Trey are the top two). What he does is awe-inspiring & awe-inducing.
compared to last time they were in Canada this one is NIGHT and DAY Approach this night with NO Caution just lots of gross tasting shrooms in your veins and huge Eyes of dilated anticipation pupils of hilarious witch delight the first time I did Psbycilin I thought the majority of the drug was in the Cap so I just did ALL the chalky dusty stems and that was a hilarious mistake I got so high for 7 hours at the White Marsh Mall I was smelling colors at Bath and Body and then swore I saw a witch in one of those mall center kiosk things that sell remade cell phone smashed glass case repair I got scared and had to run out of there but could not tell my date why because She did not know I was high it was one interesting night Like being w a cop and smelling like beer but not feeling drunk just super paranoid and everything is RIGHT and hilarious it was the best time of my life that night I should have listened to this song instead of gone to the mall with a crazy Mormon
