It's kind of bizarre watching Mundus casually launching meteors, summoning thunderstorms, shooting lasers in all directions and he literally created another plain of existance on the spot, just so that he and Dante could have a battle arena. And knowing Urizen was considered to be EVEN MORE powerful than him, even BEFORE he ate the fruit. The DMC-verse' power scaling is kind of insane if you think about it long enough. A remake of this game would be the craziest the series has ever been.
Mundus may not be the most powerful antagonist in the series canonically but he actually feels overwhelmingly powerful. He literally creates a new dimension within hell to fight Dante in. Argosax and urizen feel so much weaker despite apparently being more powerful.

Cooper Chance ok yeah I guess that makes sense, but remember, the perfect amulet is LITERALLY the key to opening the demon world. Dante just leaving it there is incredibly stupid as he is putting all of humanity at risk, what if a demon were to just find it, and the Legendary Devil Sword Sparda, which is extremely powerful. With those tools an already powerful demon (such as someone like Beowulf or Goliath) would be powerful enough to rule the underworld and invade the human realm. But let’s not forget that Dante left those incredible powerful items there only, because he wanted to say goodbye to a person who resembled his mother, whom saved his life, and has only know for a couple of hrs.
@@TM-hi2gs The only 4 people worthy of holding Sparda is Dante, Vergil, Trish and Nero. The reason for Dante, Vergil and Nero is because they are the sons of Sparda and Nero is the son of Vergil. They all carry Sparda’s blood and soul deep within them. Trish is capable of holding the blade because she was made as a weapon but the Sparda changed her heart. Sparda’s power is all about having a heart and caring for other people. That’s why in DMC4, The Savior was destroyed because it wanted only power. Nero’s love for Kyrie was stronger which made him have more power than the Savior. In Devil May Cry 5, Nero finally unlocked the true power of his Devil Trigger when he wants to save his father and his uncle because that’s the only real family he has. Can anyone fathom how legendary this fight was? You fight a god in space while he throws meteors, lightning, and and giant rocks at you, and then fight in a volcano. Lol
It is years later and I can still say, without a doubt, Mission 22 is my favorite boss battle of all time. The original Devil May Cry still ranks at number six on my top ten video games ever, and while Mundus maybe isn't the most engaging, sympathetic or groundbreaking villain, he puts up the mother of all fights. His chronological predecessor Vergil, the fallen savior Sephiroth, the mad god Kefka, master of nothingness Xemnas, the demonic king Demise, his successor Ganon and the artifact of destruction Majora's Mask, some of my favorite villains from my favorite video games ever made... And all their showdowns PALE next to the emperor of hell himself.
WHOA WHOAAA Dude You totally forgot Fou-Lu from breath of fire... HE was a way more in depth char than sephiroth who was just "Oh im insane im gonna destroy the world try and stop me"
GhoztPizza What? So it's my opinion that Crisis Core showed Seph's fall into madness? Just play the game, or go and see all the cutscenes before saying such BS, you got me laughing with "your own 1 dimensional opinion"
Vanitas Caelum as you can obviously see i had more time on my hands than to go back and forth on youtube with kids about why a final fantasy char went insane. You got me laughing with your bs statement because while i never denied that crisis core explained why he went insane, He is still none the less a less in depth Antagonist compared to Fou lu
Funny thing is the savior core is supposed to be comprised of a son of sparda to be complete but instead it got nero who only contains a small portion of the bloodline So in essence it was barely at full power without dante being used for the core so it was a false savior
A battle against The Almighty Devil Emperor himself...using your late dad's legendary sword to put an end to the pure evil scumbag that killed your mother!😈👑
I can't help but love the scenery here. It feels like Church, complete with hymns and organ like music and Mudus looking like God. This really shows how even if it looks holy and good in appearance, there is something evil and twisted underneath the surface.
Hard to believe this was suppose to be a Resident Evil game, I’m happy with what we got but I hope we’ll maybe get a crossover one day (Marvel vs Capcom doesn’t count even though I love that game series).
racingful I played the third game years before the first. In many ways, the third and fourth are superior. But all chips down, which do I consider the best? This one. And Mundus is trhe series' best bad guy.
MJTRadio No arguments there. Devil May Cry 1 Mundas was BADA**. Unlike his remake counter part. You could have at least made him as edgy as Donte, because then he would have been so bad it would be entertaining. Instead reboot mundas is boring.
3:40 I knew several friends who watched this game with me in a full playthrough once, none of them had ever seen DMC1 before, and Most of them had played DMC3. So when I said Mouths were dropped and shouts were heard in awe at this Devil Trigger, you know it was worth the full playthrough!
This final fight with Dante transforming into his father and battling against mundus in outer space is hands down my favorite fight and one of the best fights In the DMC franchise!! Capcom did a great job doing this 😍🤩
21:17 Trish : We're too late! Dante : No Trish, it's never too late... Inner Dante : Come on, come oooooooon! *Plane conveniently crashes down from the cieling* Still inner Dante : Oh thank god!
Wow, good thing that ancient castle just so happened to have a biplane in perfect working order and fully fuelled up, and also armed with possibly the most powerful machine guns in the known universe...
+DGneoseeker1 I don't believe that Dante would go to Mallet all the way in his own wings (and not because he couldn't, but it would be a waste of energy).
Asurama20 Wait, what? He didn't have the ability to fly before coming to the Island. Because of course he magically forgot how to Devil Trigger since DMC3. Because reasons. And also he didn't bring the plane if that's what you're suggesting. It was inside the castle in a room with no possible opening to fly it into even if he had reached the island that way.
DGneoseeker1 that if we take the games in order (3-1-4-2) he sometimes is able to fly but, they two are totally able to steal a plane to make it easier.
A lot of people miss DMC1 Dante though. And Capcom puts DMC1 Dante in the most crossovers soooo...

@Matteo Leonardi Unfortunately for you sunshine the dmc community disagrees with you massively. I get it you're blinded by fanboism but facts are just around to prove you otherwise. Not only does reuben voice act dante, he literally performs stunts and motion capture for him as well. Reuben mo caped and voiced dante ever since the 3rd iteration (Dmc 3, Dmc anime, dmc 4, dmc 5). Despite the fact that he participated in performing other characters as well, everyone remembers him vividly for perfecting the dante persona. It's okay to be butthurt child, it's only natural
Yeah, I have it to. I haven't gotten around to 1 and 2 because 3 is VERY fun! I have to warn though, because I'm pretty sure DMC3's gameplay is both tougher and very different from the other two.
As much as I love 3 and 4, this one will always be my favorite one. It's so...so classic Capcom. I love how cheesy yet cool this game is. I think that's what always made Capcom games standout from the rest. They didn't always take themselves seriously which is what I think made the characters really likable. Resident Evil, Mega Man, Dead Rising, and many other Capcom titles had that kind of charm. But lately they've gone more into the serious and seems like they forgot how to have fun.
This is the Real Mundus, the true almighty Emperor of darkness & God of the Demons! Not the sissy bald head crime boss who just want to rule the world with "debt" from the DmC. Such ashmae Capcom degraded such legendary boss to the level of Kingpin of Marvel universe.
@@TheV8Pumpkin let me guess you didn't play the game when it came out. Because it wasn't cliche back then. It was different and beyond anything at that time.
I will always cherish the original DMC games, they have a special place in my heart. Dammit they are so damn entertaining to play! And @1:54 does Dante have telekinesis or was that his devil trigger deflecting Mundus's beam? I never could figure that out.
He always had telekinetic powers, he can control his sword without even touching it ( Round Trip ) and in the beginning cutscene, he lifts the motorcycle without his arms.
Seriously, doesn't Devil May Cry deserve the award for like the best game of this century ? It moved me, hell i will go even as far as to say that it raised me ! I grew up with this epic franchise and learned a lot from it, i hope this great series will go on forever, it sure will in my heart
+Suwat Saksri I don't know. Bayonetta is an exception and has pacts with the demons for her powers, and Joan was the best witch they actually had, but if you play the first game where Bayonetta and two others are crossing a bridge where they fight a 2 headed dragon angel, those two witches were kill off out right. The witches had a lot of power, but in the end, only Bayonetta and Joan actually survived, with the rest getting killed off by normal humans, in the 1400s no less. The witches were kinda shit if you think about it. But the child of a witch and a sage...
I hope, the old Devil May Cry series will be back.Watching this video brings back memories of great childhood. To be honest,I hate the new DmC,a good game but it's a downgrade to the previous DMC games. CAPCOM is too stubborn to listen to fans. I hope we'll have DMC5 though.
***** Haha, nice one! My vision is like DMC5 is a continuation of DMC2 "Yeah, let's go all the way to hell" Then BOOM! Mundus appears with a new badass demonic look. And as he sees Dante motorcycling on all the way to hell to find a way to get back to the human world he says"Son of Sparda, prepare yourself". My vision sucks, right? I just hope DMC5 would really happen. CAPCOM just registered a "DEVIL MAY CRY" Trademark on PS4,Xbox One last Feb. 14,2012.
CAPCOM should make Original Vergil to come back and kick some demons ass with Dante and Nero. But I want him to stay the same, like he still has a lust for power.
***** It ain't late, bro. It's a good time that you comment that Vergil will be back in DMC4 Special Edition to give hopes to Classic DMC fans out there. :)
Today I finish this game again after a while since I played, my eyes got teary when in the end after the credits when dante medallion appears next to the photo of his mother, that music is so ... beautiful . this devil may cry in my opinion is the best :')
In the first phase of the fight, if he has the stone spheres circling in front of him, shoot those. They serve as a shield to him. In the second phase, to hit him, you need to go into Devil Trigger: Doing so causes the sword to extend further and hit him.
***** i never said Nero is Dante's son,and i think Nero would have the upper hand if he fights against him, because when Vergil fought Mundus he was wounded from fighting Dante, therefore he didn't fight against Mundus with 100% his strength. who knows what could happen. Besides,Dante still has Sparda's sword(and yomato) and can use it anytime he wants
+Jarin Jove nah he can't even if he in his top form like seriously Nero not even in dante's league how can he possibly fight mundus the one who defeated vergil and make him as his pawn?
I just wanna know how Trish jumped all the way from the other side of the room to where Dante is. It didnt even look liked she jumped far at all actually. Its a big fucking room too. Just a little thing that bugged me. lol
I would love to see this devil may cry remixed with additional moves, but not the ones in the later devil may cry series, but with completely new additions that more match this old style of combat (and maybe some moves from later dmcs as well). Maybe some new enemies, having the older enemies get more moves, lots of stuff could be done with this.
Que juego tan chingón, yo recuerdo que lo terminé en 37 minutos (no sé si sea un récord), no tenia Memory Card en PS2 y tuve que jugarlo sin recoger muchas cosas, un clásico de aquella generación.
Who is back here after seeing Dante get beaten by Urizen? He always won no matter how strong his enemies were,it's like the first time he get serious and lose, since Vergil
i think that should be the final battle with dante vergil and nero vs mundus fused with all the power of underworld and create and universe and destroying good part of the planet. if the underworld is destroyed forever then all demons in the world dies and disapear. aso dante vergil and nero do this last fight like a sacrifice for stop mundus and defeat him forever and stop the war between humans and demons forever bringing peace at human world.
Dante from dmc 1 is the best. Hes still arrogant and cocky but less loud about it. He's more professional and serious. Not sure why they decided to give him such a large mouth in dmc 3, 4 and 5.
Wait, Dante can fucking fly around in space, fight a Demon God and survive on a Planet with an Atmosphere of acid, but would have DIED on that Island without that plaine? Couldn't he escape on his own?
Maybe not, he is more powerful in the demon world, and i guess he was a little bit tired after beating Mundus. I dont thinks his devil trigger will last that long to fly until home with trish, an airplane seems to be a more confortable option anyway hahahaha

"How much longer are you going to keep zapping? Come out and show yourself Mundus!"
THAT'S when you know Dante's DONE PLAYING AROUND AND IS ABOUT GET DOWNRIGHT SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!
I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE TO FILL YOUR DARK SOUL WITH LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!
Faraz Ahmed if you think that DMC lines are cringy, play the original RE 1
Only me like that line?
WHAT I AM FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOOR
I see why Dante cried when Trish died because that's like seeing his mother die over again also Trish is identical to his mom
11:24 - Cheesy as hell, but one of my favorite quotes from this game.
more like fill her dark ring with light
WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOR!
wrong game, gotta love that era of games though & its levels of cheese
Playing it the first time that scene wasn't as bad as modern memes make it. There was one before the battle that was more cheesy tbh.
Still one of devil may cry's most memorable boss fight. Hope Mundus makes his return as a final boss.
is it just me or this is the most epic battle of all dmc sires
***** yup vergil's battle was amazing. But this fight was kinda different... in a good way. still no fight is like Dante vs Vergil fights
@@majdsaadems Vergil vs Dante has emotional weight to it but this fight is straight up epic, since Dante fight with the ultimate villain of Sparda history
@@iloveanothermanswives4278 this fight was meh to me
@radafus link nah.
Dmc2 Dante vs Infested Tank is where it at
@@iloveanothermanswives4278 I don't know who you are but I will never forgive you for that joke
HE was a way more in depth char than sephiroth who was just "Oh im insane im gonna destroy the world try and stop me"
GhoztPizza Get your facts straight please, play FF VII Crisis Core before assuming such things
Vanitas Caelum yeah but you dont even know whether that's a fact since its purely your own 1 dimensional opinion
The Savior's got nothing on Mundus! Love this game.
Funny thing is the savior core is supposed to be comprised of a son of sparda to be complete but instead it got nero who only contains a small portion of the bloodline
So in essence it was barely at full power without dante being used for the core so it was a false savior
Lol Dante fought it always smiling
I wish DMC5 had at least 22 missions. I would’ve fleshed out the ending a little bit more, it ended a bit too quick for me
it's so strange how mission 19 and 20 from DMC5 are just boss battles... with the same boss... kinda makes the game feels shorter.
This kind of boss fight has appeared in all DMC games, and yet, this one remains the best.
" *silence!!!* "
thats the Dante we want
it still is the best devil may cry battle ever
it all comes down to this
A battle against The Almighty Devil Emperor himself...using your late dad's legendary sword to put an end to the pure evil scumbag that killed your mother!😈👑
I can't help but love the scenery here. It feels like Church, complete with hymns and organ like music and Mudus looking like God. This really shows how even if it looks holy and good in appearance, there is something evil and twisted underneath the surface.
This game was a hell of a fever dream especially with all those stock sound effects it gives a lot of deja vu
Hard to believe this was suppose to be a Resident Evil game, I’m happy with what we got but I hope we’ll maybe get a crossover one day (Marvel vs Capcom doesn’t count even though I love that game series).
Finally, someone that does the first part legit without spamming Devil Stars. I love you, man.
Was my first time playing DMC1.
@@Krat0s9001 I can tell....
@@AfroSamurai215 same lmfao but still happy he decided to play it
It's amazing how well this game still holds up
"Dante ... I will return"
Well ... He wasn't joking ...
It's a shame this series' first game would be its finest, but most franxhises don't EVER get a game this fantastic. One of my favorites ever.
+MJTRadio I actually like 3 and 4 more.
+MJTRadio Yeah I agree with king cole, 3 is FAR better , IMO
3 felt much less corny and had they continued with 4 it could've been awesome.
racingful I played the third game years before the first.
3:40
I knew several friends who watched this game with me in a full playthrough once, none of them had ever seen DMC1 before, and Most of them had played DMC3.
So when I said Mouths were dropped and shouts were heard in awe at this Devil Trigger, you know it was worth the full playthrough!
"The pilot for Breaking Bad is....TOoooNnnNnIiiiGghhTttTT!!!!"
This final fight with Dante transforming into his father and battling against mundus in outer space is hands down my favorite fight and one of the best fights In the DMC franchise!! Capcom did a great job doing this 😍🤩
Actually he fight mundus in world of mirror
21:17
Trish : We're too late!
Dante : No Trish, it's never too late...
Inner Dante : Come on, come oooooooon!
*Plane conveniently crashes down from the cieling*
Still inner Dante : Oh thank god!
Taira Akane: I.......destroy.........world
this is one of the best game series EVER!!!
This remains to be the trippiest boss battle in my book for the entire DMC series
Wow, good thing that ancient castle just so happened to have a biplane in perfect working order and fully fuelled up, and also armed with possibly the most powerful machine guns in the known universe...
to be fair the plane was already there
we can see it in the 2nd mission I believe
maybe Trish repaired it
+DGneoseeker1 I don't believe that Dante would go to Mallet all the way in his own wings (and not because he couldn't, but it would be a waste of energy).
Asurama20
Wait, what?
He didn't have the ability to fly before coming to the Island. Because of course he magically forgot how to Devil Trigger since DMC3. Because reasons.
And also he didn't bring the plane if that's what you're suggesting. It was inside the castle in a room with no possible opening to fly it into even if he had reached the island that way.
DGneoseeker1 that if we take the games in order (3-1-4-2) he sometimes is able to fly but, they two are totally able to steal a plane to make it easier.
Asurama20
You're missing the point. Why would a biplane present in the castle as an artistic attraction be fully fuelled and armed?
I miss old dante.. and his voice actor too.
Azai Well you can always hear him in Marvel Vs. Capcom
Said no one ever
A lot of people miss DMC1 Dante though. And Capcom puts DMC1 Dante in the most crossovers soooo...
@Matteo Leonardi Unfortunately for you sunshine the dmc community disagrees with you massively.
I get it you're blinded by fanboism but facts are just around to prove you otherwise.
Not only does reuben voice act dante, he literally performs stunts and motion capture for him as well.
Reuben mo caped and voiced dante ever since the 3rd iteration
(Dmc 3, Dmc anime, dmc 4, dmc 5).
Despite the fact that he participated in performing other characters as well, everyone remembers him vividly for perfecting the dante persona.
It's okay to be butthurt child, it's only natural
WITH LIIIIIIIIGHT
We NEED more villains like Mundus
Just wait dmc 6
this game is really hard. just the camera angle they tried to make it like resident evil type
This game started out as RE4, actually.
ZeroWolf51 resident evil 4 I liked. that was a fun game. I think you mean it tried to be like RE2
ZeroWolf51 I have the hd collection im almost finished with the 2nd game. I don't know why people say it's awful. and the 3rd one I heard is tough
Yeah, I have it to. I haven't gotten around to 1 and 2 because 3 is VERY fun! I have to warn though, because I'm pretty sure DMC3's gameplay is both tougher and very different from the other two.
ZeroWolf51
As much as I love 3 and 4, this one will always be my favorite one. It's so...so classic Capcom. I love how cheesy yet cool this game is. I think that's what always made Capcom games standout from the rest. They didn't always take themselves seriously which is what I think made the characters really likable. Resident Evil, Mega Man, Dead Rising, and many other Capcom titles had that kind of charm. But lately they've gone more into the serious and seems like they forgot how to have fun.
Did you play 5?
This is the Real Mundus, the true almighty Emperor of darkness & God of the Demons! Not the sissy bald head crime boss who just want to rule the world with "debt" from the DmC. Such ashmae Capcom degraded such legendary boss to the level of Kingpin of Marvel universe.
Ninja Theory was in command of that boat, sadly. Yup
DarknessXER Honestly the game wasn't half bad imo, if only it wasn't a dmc game.. the very purpose of its creation is why I still stand against it.
I liked that one better than this cringey stone statue that sits around the WHOLE game just to get up and get wrecked, so cliche lol
Yay XD Eat your Man
@@TheV8Pumpkin let me guess you didn't play the game when it came out.
+Kyrodu N. he shot at at it that's how he sent it back
Devil trigger
@@kyroduu actually he use his guns to send back the motorcycle

Seriously, doesn't Devil May Cry deserve the award for like the best game of this century ? It moved me, hell i will go even as far as to say that it raised me ! I grew up with this epic franchise and learned a lot from it, i hope this great series will go on forever, it sure will in my heart
Man, you really can see how this was supposed to be RE4 at first.
Dante's face, the final boss, the escape sequence - simply all of it.
Dante knows the Dragon Fist technic.
Yeah I noticed
My soul has been filled with *LiIiiGhTtT* after seing this vid
3:00 *DANMAKU BATTLE INTENSIFIES*
I cant wait to rematch of
SPARDA FAMILY (nero,dante,vergil,)
VS
MUNDUS
Kind of hard to believe this was suppose to be a Resident Evil game
For a game that is over 11 years old, it sure as hell holds up, especially graphically
Did Dante just say give my regards to my son? You mean to tell me that could've been DMC 5 and not the crappy reboot from 2013 wtf capcom
+Richard Rodriguez The original plan for DMC2 was for the protagonist to be Dante's son but Crapcom screwed that up with the abomination that is DMC2.
+krat0s9001 I say Dante is going to have a son a little after devil may cry 5.
Just imagine, the power of sparda and the power of a witch, that would be badass
+Suwat Saksri
I don't know.
+Richard Rodriguez YES I WISH FOR THAT DANTES SON TRAINED BY NERO now wouldn't that be a great game
"I SHOULD'VE BEEN THE ONE TO FILL YOUR DARK SOUL WITH LYYYEITEEE"
whos watching this now that DMC5 is nearly coming ? like
I hope, the old Devil May Cry series will be back.Watching this video brings back memories of great childhood. To be honest,I hate the new DmC,a good game but it's a downgrade to the previous DMC games. CAPCOM is too stubborn to listen to fans. I hope we'll have DMC5 though.
Dante just sent Mundus back to hell. He's alive, and he's goingto be more powerful.
***** Haha,nice one!
My vision is like
DMC5 is a continuation of DMC2
"Yeah, let's go all the way to hell"
Then BOOM!
Mundus appears with a new badass demonic look. And as he sees Dante motorcycling on all the way to hell to find a way to get back to the human world he says"Son of Sparda, prepare yourself".
My vision sucks,right?
I just hope DMC5 would really happen.
CAPCOM just registered a "DEVIL MAY CRY" Trademark on PS4,Xbox One last Feb. 14,2012.
CAPCOM should make Original Vergil to come back and kick some demons ass with Dante and Nero. But I want him to stay the same, like he still has a lust for power.
AlEz TairIo
i know its late but DMC4 Special Edition baby, feat Vergil, yes the OG Vergil
*****
It ain't late,bro.
In the second phase, to hit him, you need to go into Devil Trigger: Doing so causes the sword to extend further and hit him.
love the fact that Nero is waiting for Mudus, with that arm;it will be like squeezing an empty can of soda
+Mohammed s. Nero isn't Dante's son, he's Vergil's and second Mundus would do Nero like he did Vergil(kill him).
+Mohammed s. Vergil can't beat Mundus even if he were in top shape. Mundus would body both Nero and Vergil at the same time.
+krat0s9001 Honestly, I could see Nero getting some "power of love" power-up or some such nonsense to beat Mundus.
+Jarin Jove nah he can't even if he in his top form like seriously Nero not even in dante's league how can he possibly fight mundus the one who defeated vergil and make him as his pawn?
Thanks man
I just wanna know how Trish jumped all the way from the other side of the room to where Dante is. It didnt even look liked she jumped far at all actually. Its a big fucking room too. Just a little thing that bugged me. lol
+SolidMGSnake Man I feel you at the end I just realized Trish has Sparda and Dante has Force Edge and I'm thinking that ain't possible
1 thing may explain it:
the game's from 2001
Works for me
her specialty is electricity and just like Faust she's fast
lol yet Dante had to save her from being nearly crushed by those boulders. She had all the time in the world!
3:09 the moment Mundus signed his own death sentence... again :D
Mundus is a small fry now in the series, meanwhile in DmC reboot he beat the shit out of Sparda lol
Who is back here after seeing Dante get beaten by Urizen? He always won no matter how strong his enemies were,it's like the first time he get serious and lose, since Vergil
DMC1 best game ever made
Chris Box I love this one, but the third one is my personal favorite
Chris Box no u mean DMC3
fuq how u mean that?i try to understand but he means dmc 1 not 3 and wtf is wrong wiht the vid is said dmc1 but no i played it?
Do you still think that?
Imagine how much more badass this battle would've been with modern day graphics O.O
Devil May Cry 6 is inevitable, but I do hope Mundus makes a return. Maybe have Nero take him on or something.
More than likely it will happen, maybe with Dante & Vergil as well
i think that should be the final battle with dante vergil and nero vs mundus fused with all the power of underworld and create and universe and destroying good part of the planet.
if the underworld is destroyed forever then all demons in the world dies and disapear.
aso dante vergil and nero do this last fight like a sacrifice for stop mundus and defeat him forever and stop the war between humans and demons forever bringing peace at human world.
@@Therake2602 dmc 17 in 2056
Dante from dmc 1 is the best. Hes still arrogant and cocky but less loud about it. He's more professional and serious. Not sure why they decided to give him such a large mouth in dmc 3, 4 and 5.
In DMC2 his personality reminds me of Batman.
The timed sequence at the end of the game felt so much like Metroid
Oh god the voice acting ==
.....is great
its actually pretty great for its time, it holds up well. Just has cheesy dialogue.
The new Devil May Cry will be about Sparda and his story on how he rose to power and saved humanity.
If Platinum Games did the gameplay........ THAT would give the fans what they deserve!!!!!!
Mundus turn the game into the touhou game
I will come back here when Mundus made it as a boss in DMC 6
this was the best devil may cry

5 is the best now
all dmc is best
Love this scene
1:47 - 2:02
It sounds like a mixture of goku ssj 3 goku when he has that deep dark tone and dante
Without Sparda's power dante would never defeat and seal mundus....
No fucking shit??
He could've killed him of he wanted but he didn't
I had to fight mundus with no yellow orb thinking that he was the last boss..

Looks like Mundus did a tribute to the Led Zepplin logo :)
Just platinum’d this amazing game yesterday. So far, I’ve played DMC 1-3 and currently playing 4 and on my way to play 5. So far DMC 1 is my absolute favorite and the Mundus Boss Fight really gave that PS2 vibe
I hope u played it in order it's dmc 3 1 2 4 5
I'd take cheesy dialogue over dmc: devil may crystal dialogue.
since this game, i call any fire gauntlets "ifrit's gauntlets"and electric swords "alastor"
