It will be way cooler if you use TX/RX for the arm. i'm about to build one and mount it on 6x6 all terrain base. will to use 10 channel TX/RX to control both the car and arm.

Question, I'm planning on mounting one of these to a drone for an ariel rescue. Will it still work if I plug the servo leads straight into a PWM receiver or do I 'need' the board? I'll be using an 8 channel transmitter and had it in my had that the servos would respond the same way as an RC plane's servos would.
