Not taking Convection for the Flamestrike video!? I can already hear the cries of the quick match Kael'thas players lamenting this heresy.
I get it, but against that team comp mana addict would probably be more useful due to all the high spell damage abilities from Azmo/Chromie.

What I'm more surprised by, is not taking Ignite.
Yes, twin flamestrike is double the flamestrike, but the secondary explosion hit is a magical christmasland. living bomb application always works on every Q hit, and reduces the cooldown too with level 13 cdr! this is way better on avarage, and gets even better on level 20 with Flamethrower
@@Lokhir100 It is difficult for me to imagine a comp where mana addict would not be more useful. Maybe if you deliberately designed both teams to carefully create a scenario where mana addict is not better it would be possible, but the odds of it coming up randomly seem very low. You would need some mana sustain on your own team, and the other team would need to have basically no backline threat even including someone coming at you from an unexpected angle.
Mana addict is frankly just an extremely strong talent. it would still be worth taking over convection even if convection was twice as strong, imo.

Yay! I was watching one of the Tracer vids the other day and reminiscing about Pallys "from hate to love" struggle with Kael'thas and hoping we would get a deep dive soon.
Pally, the towers don't trigger based on you attacking the TOWER, they trigger on you attacking an enemy HERO.
That four level lead was a nightmare for enemy team.
3:57 If you empower your E I believe in addition to stunning a total of 3 enemies‚ it also increases the stun from 1 sec to 1.5 sec which can matter a lot for setting up damage (or helping others in a team fight).
Take a shot every time Pally misses his gravity lapse... oh! here we go again

This has always my favorite build for Kael'thas, I think living bomb is quite fun too. I miss this game sometimes

Also no objective doesn't reveal chromie traps. Its just when chromie use it there's a delay before it becomes completely invisible. You just so happened to hit the trap during the intial start up delay; thus showing it so you can take it down, one serious flaw of the time trap I'd say. At 4:57

Kind of. Like a-z but no order (that I see) and a video for each of the character's builds. Also not sure if Pally will do EVERY hero. May depend on how well the vids do for views and likes.
I just want to say, I watched this to the end, and when I went to close it, I tried to close it as though I were playing HoTS myself....

Pally, main KT here. A couple of advices
1.- Your Q W is your friend but your D is your best friend, you can apply 2 living bombs on different targets and do a significant and annoying amount of damage.
2.-Your Q is either to poke or to finish it unless you do your full combo D W E R Q W which does a disgusting 2k burst damage (if you picked Phoenix of course)
3.- If you know how to use your trait, KT has basically unlimited mana if you picked mana addict, D W Q is enough to 1 shot ANY lane, you can even do some camps with D W Q W
4.- Your E is to catch them off guard, ambush, or just guarantee your Q
5.- Check the position of your Q a little deeper and you can catch 2 to 3 with your trait activated

Not taking convection makes this a hybrid build, not a pure flamestrike build
Mana addict is better for Q build anyway. As he mentions Convection is a trap, you have too much to lose by going Convection, with not all that much to gain, compared to going Mana Addict.
@@malekiththewitchking2799 sunshui is right, though. Taking Mana Addict is the better level 1 talent, but Convection is what makes the build pure Flamestrike.

Convection is such a bad talent. To preserve the stacks you typically want to play reserved, but for it to be any level of meaningful, you need to play aggressively to finish the quest in the first 5-7 levels of the game. The damage boost isn’t that significant late game compared to early game and the utility you get from having a shield and higher mana is just so good. Not to mention taking convection puts a target on you for the enemy team to basically steal your first level talent from you for as long as possible.
Zuljin is there bc he did 51K hero damage and you only 24K. And rehgar is MVP cause he killed 10 and you only killed 4

Convection is fun when you get it online but the damage truly is meh. The mana addict is just better overall.

@@plackt Not bait, I just never thought this would leave beta. You don't _even_ have to last hit/deny in this game? Hardly any ability is reactionary, the players are VERY casual (avg 1.6 games/week) Delusional much?
@@sirskorge so out of all the features, it’s the lack of last-hits (even though you still need to be present to collect XP) that matters to you? Of course they wouldn’t include that, since you’re usually in a lane with 2-4 opponents, depending on the map, so there’s more important things to focus on and it’s more about denying access to the XP orbs than to last-hits.
I’d also love to know where that 1.6 average comes from, and whether it includes accounts that aren’t playing anymore or not.
