Gee I'm just now getting around to seeing this adorable card. How happy and sweet it is. I loved the way you put it together. That glue gel really does the job in lifting it up so it can hold back the flap. Most people have problems with that part but you didn't have one problem with it. It held it up like an easel. Great job Amanda and you always have the cutest images to work with and your colors are great the way they all work together.. thanks Amanda for sharing. pat
ahh thank you sweet pat - I think the comments should be working on my web now. I think it was a problem that the company that made the spam shield fixed thank goodness :-)
My pleasure, Ilove easel cards they really are very easy to make and give such impact so win win I reckon. I like looking clever for very little work lol! :-)
How sweet is that you remembered the "hun" part in my name which actually stands for Hungarian. I grew up in Hungary, and lived for a few years in Germany,Canada, and now for 12 years in Dallas, Texas. Where do you live in the United Kingdom? I always enjoy listening to you talk in your videos because your English sounds so much nicer than American English. :)
thank you so much. May I trouble you, if you don't mind, to try and leave a comment on the corresponding blog post. Link is in the para below video. I have had some issues with people not being able to leave comments and think its fixed but not 100% sure cos the computer might know its me and then as admin and therefore the boss it does what i say anyway, which means I think i have tested it and seems ok but can't be sure til you guys try and leave comments:-)
thanks hun, just teething troubles I guess - and trying to work it out myself and not being a web designer I'm leaning on the job. Glad you enjoyed and thank you for the patience while i get through these initial bugs xx
I belive hunkydory now sell abroad including the US, I am not sure where you are, but they sell there through Create and Craft but I am not sure that this will still be available as this is pretty old :_)
Hi I love the My fair lady card, really enjoyed watching you put that together. What type of glue are you using, where can I get the glue and syringe and scoring implement. Thanks Patricia
Actually it is the glue that I sell on my website called pin flair glue gel, here is the link for you. And you can check shipping - which I keep really as tight as possible so it is good rate - withut committing yourself to the order, just make sure you are logged in or the shipping cost you see won't necessarily be right as it doesn't know where you live :-) www.lollilulucrafts.co.uk/shop/crafty-goodies/pinflair-glue-gel-kit/
Amanda, I love the card! One question though.. what kind of glue gel did you use for height? I usually use pop dots but they can unstick if you don't use enough. The gel seems like a cool idea. (You just introduced me to hunkydory. Yay!)
I use pinflair glue gel which is my desert island product. I love it and would not go anywhere without it. I have even stuck the soles of shoes back down, fixed my shower - i kid you not lol! plus of course i use it for all my craft. You dont have to be as generous as me, I am always over glueing - an obsession of mine lol! And i sell the glue gel in my store, here is the link for you www.lollilulucrafts.co.uk/shop/crafty-goodies/pinflair-glue-gel-kit/ and I ship most places in the world, just pop it in your basket, go to the basket, click on your country and it will give you the shipping before you have to commit to it. But all really good value, not expensive to ship nor is the glue gel actually :-)
Yes it is lovely isn't it. I think as it is quite an old video now that it is unlikely they still have it, but the best bet is to check out hunkydory's website and see if it is there, you might be lucky xx
So cute! Hunkydory always has such beautiful toppers and papers.
Oh yeah - you know I love my hunkydory :-)
