Hi, Edmund! Thank you very much for the informative video but I still have some questions as my case is rather extraordinary :( I wanted to return my father's savings from Wells Fargo bank in CA (and already have their Affidavit form and checked that the sum is "small"), but the problem is my father was not a US resident - he just had regular business trips to the US and therefore he opened an account. I already have his translated death certificate with me (as Wells Fargo requires it) but the subtle point is that I see I should write the state of his death as well as "state of deceased customer's residence at the date of death" however he lived and died out of the US. Can I put the name of the country there? And also I have no idea what county should I put in the document header.. I'm the only person in our family who is in the US now, but I live in NC.

Thank you very much for the informative video but I still have some questions as my case is rather extraordinary :(
I wanted to return my father's savings from Wells Fargo bank in CA (and already have their Affidavit form and checked that the sum is "small"), but the problem is my father was not a US resident - he just had regular business trips to the US and therefore he opened an account. I already have his translated death certificate with me (as Wells Fargo requires it) but the subtle point is that I see I should write the state of his death as well as "state of deceased customer's residence at the date of death" however he lived and died out of the US. Can I put the name of the country there? And also I have no idea what county should I put in the document header..
I'm the only person in our family who is in the US now, but I live in NC.

I buy and sell alot of low end land and I have filed one of these before successfully but I run into the situation 3-5 times a month and don't feel like dealing with it. (holding my client hand). Anyone provide a reasonable fee for service? TIA
