Thank you for your lesson jim...I'm 63 years old and a big fan of CCR and now retired I'm starting guitar and I'm going to work with covers like yours...thank you very much...the best to you... Gilles (France)
great lesson for a great song, CCR is like a universal music language that always gets approval and applause from everyone ive ever played it for live on acoustic while doing vocals. ive been playing this song for 25 years or so and just realized i was missing licks and playing parts wrong thanks to you my friend. im really excited about it. your a great instructor
Thank you very much for the lesson! I like it that you go through the whole song first and then come back for the riffs . please keep it up. It's very helpful.😊
Thanks Bill. The reason I didn’t do it that way is that I already posted the whole song before. A lot people were asking me for a lesson from that post. If anybody hears a song that I have posted, and wants a lesson of that song, I’ll be more then happy to do so. 👍
I didn’t know you wanted. I would have earlier. I don’t if it’s going to be a series, but if anyone wants me to post a particular song as a lesson I will. Hope all is well with you, and a Merry Christmas 🥂
Thanks for doing this Jim. Ever since I got sick the guitar has been a good release for me and a creative outlet for me and this is one of my favourite songs to sing and will be to play (once I learn it). I promise I'll put in the effort.....you did. You're a good one mate cheers from Australia. Have a merry Christmas. I've cracked the first bit.....carry on.
@@JimSmith-1022 Ive been writing my own music and songs (mostly camp fire chords) I've only learnt "what it's like" from Everlast and bits and pieces of songs Ive played by ear but I think learning some songs will level me up and give me more ideas. Thanks again.
Jim if you can do some easy two or three cord easy strum lesson songs with no tricky stuff for us learners to sing around the fire that would be great. A lot of us have trouble finding the timeing of a song and a dumb version of a song could really help people like myself learn then add the tricky stuff later once established. Thanks again mate.
I’ll give that some thought my friend, however I had a request for a lesson on Baby Blue from Badfinger next. That one has a lot of “tricky stuff”. There is a lot of great 2,3 chord songs out there, so yes I’ll post some. Keep on pickin!
I like it, going to incorporate part of this in to what I do, much apricated, keep up the good work
@@pennhill5459 Great! Have fun with it. More coming soon👍😎
Gonna learn this one! Thank you 😊

Thank you Waylon! I’ll never make a dime off of these, and don’t really care too, but comments like yours makes it worth it. 👍

Thank you so much! That may or may not be true, but speaking from my experience . The more you sing the better you get. Keep on making music 👍
