I replaced my notebook with this tablet on a daily basis. Before, I carried my notebook, cables ... A heavy load on my back every day ... If I didn't take the cables, the battery would be gone in a few hours. Now I use the tablet with the keyboard cover and a bluetooth mouse and it is super light and portable. I take it to college and to the work ... Great to write reports, read articles in pdf, books ... Do research on the internet ... Very good. For college I still take the S pen and use it to take notes. Perfect. I don't even care about the battery anymore. When I don't want to use it in the college or work, I turn off the Dex mode and use it to watch a movie, draw (I love to draw) ... Of course, when I'm at home, if I need I use my notebook normally, but I don't even need it.

one more great feature of samsung tab s6, as opposed to a laptop, is its instant on/off feature. laptops take 6+ seconds to boot, and a long time to shutdown, with tablets, these are instantaneous.
Great review, watching on my new Tab S6. Waiting for the postman to deliver the official Samsung non keyboard Book case, so afraid of dropping this thin device.

I bought a MOKO rugged book cover with pre installed screen protector and a Bluetooth keyboard with trac pad from kanex i cant see mines in a book cover keyboard i go thick like my note phone i want my device protected rugged status

More important for me, do you have any recommendations for PDF apps on which I could highlight PDF pages easily with the S Pen? I am having a hard time finding one I really like. I guess the only thing I don't like about the S6 so far is that the 16:10 aspect ratio means PDF pages don't fill up all the screen, like on my iPad, but leave bars on the top and bottom. Other than that, everything else has been great so far and enjoyable to use on the S6. So, I would regret giving up (returning) the S6 and getting the Ipad Pro, then? Any thoughts? Thanks!

Buying the Tab s6 in 10 days. I’ve had the iPad Air2 for 5 long years. Although it still works fine but it’s beginning to slow down. I’m going for Tab s6 because I’m just so bored with the walled in IOS of Apple.

Your Tablet's back cover almost coming off from back while in Dex or landscape position.
On my Tab s6 it doesnt come off like in his video.

It is sad enough for my android heart that im even considering to consider buying an apple tab over Samsung... Coz they kind of keep messing up (no head phone jack, weird anti-note taking s pen shape,no flash with rear camera, relatively expensive tablet with less powerful hardware) ...

Super AMOLED display is hands down the best display. But do note, that the tab s6 is not an HDR display.

If your surface is smooth, then yes. It's a problem.

How it resembles a real pen?!!!! It is effing flat n wide! -_- i donot see myself taking long notes in class with THAT pen... I rather liked spen look of s3 or s4... I know it needes flatness to be charged BUT why kept it flat on both sides T•T
Ive used It. There's too much hype about the pen being a weird shape. The thing works just fine. Like no problems at all. TH-camrs just hating because it's different than what they're used to. One says something and the rest repeat it.
I don't know about your fingers but mine are flat on one side :D
@@zackarystewart9214 Agree with this comment. It's damn good, this S Pen, and feels like you're actually writing on paper when taking notes or drawing, which adds to the enjoyment.

Yes it supports portable hard disk and sd card. I am using samsung ssd and connects seamlessly.
