Spun Cotton Tutorial: Make a Victorian Figural Christmas Ornament!

Today I'm making this adorable little snowball boy. I start with a wire armature, and a paperclay face that I molded from an antique doll. The hands and feet are cotton roving, and the costume is made from 100% cotton quilt batting.

This is the roving I used: www.smilemercantile.com/products/cotton-roving-for-spun-cotton-crafts-long-staple-cotton-sliver The 100% cotton quilt batting would be available at any local fabric store.
