- Here I explain how to create peeling paint effect in substance painter. The pbr technique that I used is suitable for any version of substance painter. And end material is very flexible and highly customizable. Hope it helps you to get your texturing skills to a new level.
Here is the link to the decal used in the tutorial drive.google.c...

Hi stranger O.o
Супер!То что я месяцами искала в интернете.Спасибо большое!
This tutorial is gold!
It’s a very cool effect and good tutorial - I appreciate your effort.
I’ve seen this done using blurs instead of Highpass. This is a far more efficient way of doing it. Thanks.
incredible! Thank you, Stanislav!🙏

Awesome tutorial, man
great trick!!!!
Wow thank you for this :)
Thank you for sharing Stanislav, I enjoyed and learned from the tutorial a lot. I have to say though, that you have a perfect approach to tutoring for me, because you go straight to the point and I'm catching up just fine following your commentary and work.
I'm fairly knew to SP, besides this, it's been a long time since the tutorial was ploaded, but I have one question I desperately need to know and I hope you can answer me here..
- How could I set up anchors so I can add as well as take from the peeling paint. If you understand me, I want to draw original paint texture bits back to areas where I had "peeled" the paint off.
Much appreciated - thanks again,
Jan

Благодарность
Any chance you can link the cracked paint texture you are using? Its awesome, thanks!
Крутяк, спасибо)
Thank you for the tutorial. I'm having trouble with my height map. It appears that the metal layer is rendering as higher than the pain and thus makes my paint look like it's being stamped into the metal. I've tried adjusting levels, masks, everything but it doesn't work.. any platform where I can send you the images to see? Any help would be appreciated.
i'm having the same problem here, my underlayer height is higher than main layer, did u solved this problem ? i've tried copy the same mask but if i need to adjust the lerp have to do all this again.
thanks
@@pedropaulorios Hi. Wow this was so long ago I don't even remember if I solved it but I have a feeling I did. I just can't remember how. I assume I might have just moved layers around or even changed the blending modes. Also make sure that your using the CORRECT channels. So if you want to change height detail then make sure you're working in the height . Same for normals, diffuse etc. Also make sure that your masking is correct.
@@nikelombambo Thanks ! the way i found to solve this is invert the order of the things, as long the underlayer was the most influenced for the height i paint the main texture below it, with the height inverted, but works really impressive.
офигенно

Хех, я думал, тут будет показано, как это сгенерить процедурно...
Спасибо!!!
Круто. Но туториал лучше начинать с чистого листа а не с середины проекта.
А ещё маску бы желательно тоже было положить к туториалу.
