Hello to motherland Russia from homeland Ireland🙂👍I am 38 years old originally from Russia .From 2003year I live in Ireland . From October 2022 year I work in shop MrPrice of Clare Hall shopping centre.😊Location in 40 minuties by bus from Dublin
I've visited Russia 11 times, I was lucky enough to spend Christmas (January 7th) in St Petersburg one year. My Dad was an Engineer in the oil and gas business and I was able to travel with him on occasion, so I also got to see a lot of places that are off the beaten path. Murmansk comes to mind, which is a very large city, just not one that a lot of people travel to, at least I don't think. Another place that was really off the beaten path was Salekhard. My Dad was working at the Yamal Gas plant at one point, and it is in a very remote area. I digress. Russia is an amazing country, I loved it there. The people, the culture, the beautiful scenery. Kazakhstan was also nice in some places. Both were much nicer than Dubai.
@@energy_freak219I'm from Serbia, I was there by an airplane via Latvia, then by the bus to St Petersburg. You can fly to Serbia, Turkey, Emirates, Qatar... then to Moscow. Or you can fly to Tallinn (Estonia) or Riga (Latvia), then by the bus to St Petersburg. I believe you need visa to travel there, though I'm not sure, I don't need visa. You would see how beautiful it is, nothing like mainstream media portraits it. 😉
You managed to get Christmas items, and useful food for a meal. To top it off you purchased a really nice festive tea shirt. Good going Lisa, as this fixed price store has even more quality than the dollar stores in my country of Canada. You definitely are a wise shopper Lisa.
We call them dollar stores here in the US and the fixed, low price concept is the same. Selling every day goods in volume for a low price. They offer value for the money. Thanks for your review of Fixed Price in Moscow! 😊
Here in the USA we have several similar stores called Dollar Tree, Dollar General and Family Dollar although almost everything costs more than $1.00. I'm glad it doesn't snow or get cold where I live. Another good video.
wow my love so you know how to cook Mexican food!! wish i could go shopping with you Russia looks coldit's starting to get cold here in south Texas also love spending holidays here with you stay warm

Your dollar, or 100 Ruble store, is so clean! If you were to go in a dollar store in the US, they are always dirty, unorganized, and most things are broken. The products are cheap crap from India. I was wondering about tortillas! I thought if I move to Russia, will I be able to make myself a burrito if I have a craving for Mexican food.
Thanks Lisa. It was a familiar sight to see the Mars and Snickers bars by the checkouts, same as in the UK. We have a shop called Poundland with goodies to eat, and cheap household goods, and some clothes. Much of it is over £1 though. I used to find some treasures in the DVD section years ago, but now it's all the usual Hollywood films of recent years, as in the charity shops..
Greetings, Lisa. Some of the brands look familiar, like Head and Shoulders, Dove, Coca-Cola and Colgate. Darkhorse mentioned the three similar stores in the USA, and that most all items are more than a dollar. Money doesn't buy as much as it used to, especially after Covid. That quesadilla looked tasty in your very festive looking kitchen and comfy clothes. Looks like you bought some Band-Aids on a previous shopping trip to Fix-Price.😊

I think that is why people loved getting remote IT jobs in Russia, earning de facto in $ or ₤ or € but having living costs in Rubles. Not so much when they tried leaving Russia and found out how much those wages were really worth in the countries of origin.
If you have it job in Russia your wage is from 120 000 rub. Depends on your skills. And believe me. With 120 000 you can rent nice apartment and enjoy your live. And save . And travel. Okay, you look quite well, and we like it. Please go on like this. Who will like a crying girl. Now, if at times, it comes to complain a little bit, we will console a little bit.
It could happen that it's looking like there are things happening cause some people talk too much. Well things that happen can exist for only some others geniuses. But with products like those it's not everything that is good,a lot lot lot lot are not. For food sometimes it's the same thing that in others stores.
It's a good concept to make a kind of Wall..art mixed to a 1$ store. But excepted for spending "stuffs" ("essentials") we (the youngsters) are most looking for "useful" things a bit styled and of quality when it's time for those but the best is more specialized,I mean for the things that we are really looking for. (Clothes..,video games,Japanese animes and things or "Comics",movies,music,electronics...,furnitures,machines,tools,cooking accessories and more ....) And what we'll buy can always change. There are things that companies only sell on web but with stores and those are the things that "we are all" looking for. Right now I'm almost only buying things on internet,I'll buy some hockey extra things in stores that's all. Usual stores are getting outdated. For the clothes that's a big exception it's better in stores but I can buy animes or Comics clothes on internet.
@@lisa_with_love that is the way Mexicans, Spanish, Texans, etc pronounce it. If you see a hedgehog, will you please take a picture with it? Since you left the East, I know you will never see a walrus again.
Learning math and then economics in Russia must be kind of confusing when a person is young. 200 things are a lot of things, for example, and $200 in North America is still relatively a lot of money. But like 200₽ is not a lot in Russia.
Just like the rest of the world, nothing costs a dollar at a dollar store, lol. I’m in Canada and we have “Dollarama” where things are over $3-$5 or more

(Clothes..,video games,Japanese animes and things or "Comics",movies,music,electronics...,furnitures,machines,tools,cooking accessories and more ....)
And what we'll buy can always change.
Halo salam kenal ya .saya dari Indonesia .
Tor-TEE-ya is the way to pronounce the flour bread
yeah I know but why it is Tortilla on the package?👍
@@lisa_with_love that is the way Mexicans, Spanish, Texans, etc pronounce it. If you see a hedgehog, will you please take a picture with it? Since you left the East, I know you will never see a walrus again.
Твой зовут, Лиса 🦊?
Learning math and then economics in Russia must be kind of confusing when a person is young. 200 things are a lot of things, for example, and $200 in North America is still relatively a lot of money. But like 200₽ is not a lot in Russia.
200$ in Russia is 20.000 RUB it is kind of okay money too
Huh, Russian stores look like Mexican stores with Cyrillic letters instead of Latin/Roman letters 😮Makes me feel at home.
This is like dollar stores in the U.S.
yes correct 🙏
I just had to google snail lights immediately and see if I could find any here hehe 🐌
This reminds me I need to get a role of electrical tape.

Just like the rest of the world, nothing costs a dollar at a dollar store, lol. I’m in Canada and we have “Dollarama” where things are over $3-$5 or more
