In case any wants to know the weights of the points I have in video, here ya go:
lunar FS Silver & Black 36mm = 0.95g
lunar CS Silver & Black 36mm = 0.91g
Sniper Lunar FS Silver & Black 32mm = 1.07g
Sniper Lunar CS Silver & Black 32mm = 1.04g
Why isn't there just a Sniper, without any grooves or extra grip? Something that just has a flange up to the body of the dart, that would be an instant buy!

As others have said before I just don't understand the point of these, even on the worst boards a scuffed up basic silver point will do the job.
As I say in every video of such points :)

I've just fitted the lunars to my Harrow Infernos and they are too much. My fingers look like cheesewire has been at them after 20 minutes of play!
Darts dropping out are rarely a problem for me, usually costs me 1 or 5 points.....

Very bad points 😁, I won’t use this so aggressive points. It will damage your board. This is The Wizards fault because of his points before 😂 just joking✌️,
Anyways it’s better to try new once In awhile ❤️🎯 happy darting .

I’m loving these points. Yes they will damage the board more than others but people always kick off then they buy mib grip or eagle points for their match darts! I love the look of them and they grip beautifully

They’re nice looking . Not sure we need them. My bounce outs are from hitting wire, deflecting off a dart, or shredded bullseye. I’m the last example I’d get a new board. As usual ty !
Yeah I have always been happy enough with a bog standard black coated point :)
You should sacrifice a fresh new board and use these points for a a few weeks to do a before and after! :D

I would like to buy such shafts 3 sets narrow medium long
cost a bit more but think they are worth it.
They usually last well but like all things its if the stems work well for you and the only way to know in the end is to try them :)

Looks cool but I hate how so many points are designed to just eat boards. It's absolutely a concentrated and deliberate effort from big manufacturers to sell these points so that you have to buy a new board quicker.
Is it though? No one is forcing people to use such points, and I tell people every time that such points will damage their boards, if they choose to ignore such warnings then thats up to them.
Well what a dilemma, I want the dart to stick in the board, but I don't want by board to wear so quick 🤔

Geez, those look nasty. I think it might be a violation of the Geneva Convention to use those.
Lol they do but to be fair I have not used them long term so they may not be as bad as they look but on first impressions I am not convinced that will be the case but also not sure I want to test the theory, but I may find an old board to do that for an update 😊

I'd like to a time lapse of some of these beating up a board - but I think TH-cam has some censorship rules about depictions of graphic violence.
Soem of the pros are pretty lazy when they extract their darts - yanking them out like they are not paying for the board - or else a Shorty McShortarse reaching up stretching.
That "twist them out" technique could help many a new player.

The pros get a new board every match dont they? So they wouldnt need to care anyway lol For home users it could work out pricey and if you are just playing casually or for practice its no big deal if the odd dart drops out but even then how often does it happen to warrant such grippy points for the average player?
@@DartsReviewChannel Maybe they just look like evil board wreckers - Also they look they may snap near the tip? or bend if you clobber a wire - or if they do hit the floor (Flight pops out) -
maybe that is it - you have to think like a pro - rather than the average player -

WINMAU have a noise cancelling board mount coming out it suspends the board on wires
Just checked this video out because I've ordered a set of the fs edition lol. I noticed the pdc updated version of the blade 6 triple core in the video, I have the one without the pdc branding. The red looks very deep in this video and mine are more orange. Is that just the lighting or are the newer versions more of a darker red?

Yeah I have another video that I started months ago, actually I started it not long after the B6TC came out, but I re-started it when I got the PDC branded one, its a comparison test of all the B6 and B5DC. The new PDC version I mention in the video that the reds are much better and deeper, so I think its possible they changed it. Going to make a start on the Red Horizon soon. No idea if I will get it finished before Christmas though but will try, got so many things to review and so little time these days! lol :)
@Darts Review Channel thanks for the reply :-) now I'm tempted to grab myself a pdc branded version 🤣. I did think that the reds also looked deeper on tv as well since around the time of the matchplay.

Just got them and I love them but very hard to remove from board maybe it gets easier over time

This is how dartboard producers make people buy new dartboards more often. As a someone who runs local tournaments and who had bought six new dartboards recently, I hope no one here starts using these... :-/
Well they dont actually force people to buy them, thats still a persons own choice, if they choose not to listen to warnings people like us give them about using such points then its up to them in the end :)
Use grip points because put two fingers on the point. So I need grip on there or they slip off my fingers ;-). Gonna test them for sure, the normal full length grip
Was not that grippy on the fingers though, grippy when the hit the board though! :)

No on these...but I do love the silver 32mm Sniper Ripple points.
They grip well without out ripping out sisal!
I may do a longer test on them yet but didn't want to do it on my fairly new B6TC, I need to find one of my old boards. Will be interested to hear feedback from others though and also if they cause more or less damage on a soft or hard board. Personally though like I said a bog standard black point is fine for me 😊
@Darts Review Channel Well after 3 months of constant use, my Sniper Ripple points have done zero damage to my Blade 5 DC. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recommended.

lol I have heard a few people say they have damaged their boards already, I was not wanting to use them on my newer boards really but going to find an old board and have a proper chuck with them on the least worn segment and then see what happens :)
@@DartsReviewChannel thats a great idea at least if it does damage the board it wont be your newer one that still has life in it lol. If i were to get these id use em on league nights at the bars and atuff like that. I wouldnt use them on my home board just because i want to let it last as long as i can lol
