Gripping a dart is a fallacy manipulating the dart so as it grips you is the actuality. If you grip you have to release it before you can release the dart. Nearly everything you are advised on in Darts is absolute guano!

In 2010, Phil Taylor turned up to compete in a darts competition. This caused other players to hang their heads and think why should we bother to play. This was an unfair advantage to Phil Taylor and caused a lot of controversy.

During a game years ago, I noticed my opponent was drinking my beers as well as his own.. it caused me unnecessary stress and I could have lost the game had he not been paraletic.

The throwing technique I used in a match sucked, giving my opponent an unfair advantage. Had my technique been better then I would have had an unfair advantage, causing controversy in the darts community.

I have been a darts player for a few years and the accusations of one player Knobbling another professional players darts to win a game is ridiculous. Nobody gets near my darts!!!!
Snooker players often cheat as well. They've been seen putting chalk on the end of their cues between shots, and sometimes even wiping the cue down to reduce drag. It causes a lot of concern about cheating in the sport.
That is effing disgraceful I've seen them doing this a lot of times .you won't believe me but I swear I saw Terry Griffiths chalk his cue twice when he was in the final now you know!

Even a non-darts player like me was confused at all the accusations of moving another opponent's darts, or fiddling with them. The only darts a player touches are their own. And they have their darts on them throughout the match.
In 1765 John flamingo was caught breathing near bob pipers darts. This caused condensation on the darts making them more heavy and less accurate when being thrown at the numbered horse hair circle.
How would John Lowe replacing his opponents darts with his own give him an unfair advantage by allowing him to use darts that are better suited to his throwing style?
I suppose practicing would be against the rules as it would give you greater accuracy

Struggle to believe Dennis Priestley would do that and adjusting his darts is cheating ? The only cheating would in my book would be making noises when your opponent is throwing , saying you hit a double when you didn’t

The only controversy there has ever been in top flight darts was when Keith Deller beat the best in the world to become the world champion in 1983 and people were saying it was because of spring loaded points in his darts. That was rubbish and following a short ban they were soon allowed back into tournament play.

Donald didnt say anything and his opponent Chris Doublenine was taking a sip and his Earl grey tea during the last shot so he didnt see it either. This leg ended up being the difference maker as Donald won the match 6-5. Moral of the story....dont believe everything you read on comments

I am a little bit lost on this video. I play darts in USA and not sure how you can modify a set of darts to cheat. This video did not make much sense to me.
I think this must be a reminder that the powers that be only want you to use overpriced, easily ruined and garbage big name manufacturers offerings. They'd have a field day with me as I make my own identical stems from bamboo and compliment them with tri-wing resealable flights.
