I know you already review about the stylus at other videos, but i just hope you would give some in depth review to the stylus performance, like more detail on the latency and stuffs
Hey buddy! Let me quickly sum up my experience with the stylus. I hope you find these points useful: 1. Latency - it's noticeable but I can't tell exactly how many milliseconds it takes. 2. Drawing - as you can see I am still able to sketch out a car. However, I will say it is not as responsive as on iPad Pro and Samsung's flagship tablets. 3. Feel - it's very lightweight and you can't say it's the best quality but it feels natural to hold in hand. 4. Writing - again, similar to the points above, it provides a decent enough feedback to write naturally. But don't expect iPad Pro levels of latency. 5. Buttons - the shortcuts are quite minimal for now and is only limited to a few native apps. Hopefully in the future more apps will be supported. 6. Price - At the price I got mine, which is approx. US$50, I find it a little on the pricey side, but if you are someone who needs the stylus, your best bet is to get this original one from Xiaomi.
I have a slight problem writing with the smart pen. The notepad app register the stylus tip input even before it reaches the screen. Thus causing some unwanted drag on my handwritings when I lift the pen for another stroke of handwriting

@@madesatya Hey bro. It's not as good as the Apple Pencil. Not even close. The Apple Pencil is made more for the creative artist. The Mi Pen is more for simple drawings.
Netflix HDR and Dolby Vision only available for the mi pad 5 global version. The mi 5 pro and the non-global version doesn't support it, yet. Maybe its a whitelist problem
Finally I brought the same tablet as that reviewers. Coming from iPad users, it is the best budget tablets I brought in 2022. I have very long decisions before I change from my iPad Mini 5th gen (which is currently 3 years old tablet but I brought on October 2020) to Xiaomi Pad 5 (which is currently 1 year old tablet but I brought it yesterday). I just wanted to get 128GB variant but I only have 256GB option available. So, ended up add extra RM200 (from RM1449) and it was the best tablet I ever brought it so far. Hopping from my old 64GB iPad Mini 5th gen to my new 256GB Xiaomi Pad 5 is about 4 times more storage because I have some issues with my iPad Mini storage to keep my games and other apps and files.

What a pity, when you mention about gaming, I was expecting you to show a little bit (with keyboard use). Awesome review!!! Thanks for talking about the stylus pen. As far as Netflix in SD, my guess is when you go to root and unlock the bootloader you only get SD and Google pay won't work. That's on other devices no matter the manufacturer. With Xiaomi, even though your tablet isn't rooted at the factory they have unlocked the bootloader to install your rom. I may be wrong and correct me if I am. That's what I think it is. If you have an unlocked bootloader Netflix will only be in SD and Google pay won't work
I buy this from fastech(non pro version). Already use it around 1 week. My first tablet, get addicted to it. The display very good for ips. Performance superb, smooth gaming. So far no ads when compared to my MY set poco f2 pro. No bug. I'm satisfied with my purchase
Hi I like your videos and level of detail. One problem I have in terms of productivity with my Xiaomi Mi Pad 5. H have a windows surface pro 7 and copy/ past files in explorer is so seamless and easy and saves time. I have a cloud storage and when I download files I want to store in my cloud storage. The problem I have with Mi Pad 5 is that it takes forever to move files. Is there an easy way to do this like in Windows?

I bought my mi pad 5 two days ago, I have noticed that the 'double tap to wake or off screen' isn't working well, the screen can be waken by double tapping, however, when I was double tapping the screen to off it, it did not respond. Am I the only one facing this issue? Just to clarify that my tab has the latest MIUI, which is 12.5.

I am planning to use it for mainly media consumption (social media, youtube, movies), and some light email reading, PDF and microsoft office editing. I think the MiPad 5 seems a better bang for the buck (based on specs), but I do intend to use the tablet for the next 5 years (more than that would be a bonus). Ipads generally seem to be more durable and have better software support, not too sure about the MiPad 5 (coming from someone who has not used any Xiaomi products before). So I hope you could share your views! Thanks!
I suggest go for ipad 9th. Its overall the best. ( software compatibility/support up to 5 years) A13 is a strong chip. however, I bought xiaomi pad 5 just because Im used to android.

if u want use long term and use for media consumption and productivity , go for Chromebook duet from lenovo, cheaper and comes with keyboard but not powerful, but can handle simple games and supports full chrome desktop browser etc.. Android tablets are good but update are maximum for 2 years only, but CHROME OS gives you updates up to 6 - 8 years.
@@Idontknow1053 hey there! I may not be the best person to advice on this. But I think the Ipad has the better processor that would perhaps give you a better sustained and long term performance. But the Xiaomi Pad 5 has a pretty decent chipset too and with bigger and better screen (plus 120Hz for smoother visuals). My tip is to try it out yourself at the stores. Do note that if you intend to game and hold the device, see if the larger screen on the Xiaomi would be a better visual experience and not too taxing on your hands. Cheers!
The more value u add, the slower animation will be, xiaomi have a lot of animation on it ui so then, to reduce any jitter or slow, u can reduce the value to 0.5… it look a bit weird on some animation but it suit well on miui, snappy miui

Just about to sell my Pad 5 because I did like its way of working, strugling to set it up!! But now I see you have several videos on it, so will watch them before deciding.
If your not a graphic artist this is an increadible deal, but if you are this is just frustrating, pen is as bad as microsoft surface gen 2 pen, jitter on every app that doesnt support line stabilization, and even on the clipstudio app the lines are still not as clean as the ones on the samsung spen and the wacom devices. So you have to beware of that, in the philippines we cannot return the tablet for refund unlike in the US which is a bummer.

Yes. It is using mobile version since apps for android are not optimized for tablets. Having said that, this is pretty good

The thing I don't like this is that Netflix and TH-cam videos does not have high definition..only have standard definition no matter how much you did the setting..may I ask why??
Just use a older version of netflix to run on HD (1 version older or more)

Same problem with netflix on Android devices quiet a few i had. Just uninstall and install an older apk of Netflix and it should work.
It's so laggy when entering and exiting apps , opening the recently used apps also ,so frustrating !!!!
