Acquisition of cars became very easy. First of all, all cars have a price. And second, the fastest cars (group 1) all have the same price, and they make only 1 million.
Example. The nissan R92CP, here you get it with 1 million. While on Gran Turismo 4, you had to make 228 rounds at fuji to unlock it ( 5 hours, without b-spec mode).
Another example. To get the Bentley Speed 8, you need to make 24 hours in Sarthe... ( 9 hours with b-spec Mode )
Now... is peace of cake.
So because they wanted the game to teach a wider audience about semi realistic racing and offering a more accessible range of cars instead of giving them for insane, boring and tiring chores only a person with too much spare time and no real care at all would do?

It's sad to see that they removed almost all standard cars and replaced almost all the 1900's cars with shitty modern cars from the 2000's. Not happy about Gran Turismo Sport.

I the like geometrical, knee-angle corners, but i feel like the aesthetic is too repetitive. i stick with la sarthe for now, as my "most driven on" track, by far.
The list is still poor in my opinion, but much better than when it first came out

Adam ye, so this release is ok, especially considering you can update it. GT3 has 450 less cars than GT2, yes that was a big graphical change but so is GT6 to GT Sport. The only reason why GT5 & 6 had 1000 cars was because most of them were taken straight out of Gran Turismo 4 & people complained about that.

Are all the DLC cars free?
Looks like you can either buy them with real money or save up in game and buy the. The dlc packs are just a shortcut to get them faster I think.
The updates are free, and you can buy the new cars with credits or real money through the Play Store
If you are asking if they cost 0 credits, no.
If you are asking if this game has paid dlc/additional content, absolutely not.
The only kind of additional transaction this game involves is the option to get any car that costs up to 2,000,000 credits for 1 dollar (MICROtransactions). Cars that cost, say, 3 mil or 20 mil have to be grinded for, so that the game doesn't go full gta online or something.
Yes and no. It's OPTIONAL to pay for the cars with real money in the game, but it's not very hard to grind a few mil in this game. Just by doing a few hours of races, I've racked up a few million already and had fun doing it.

Jonathan No there was one. One was the 2005 GT the other was the Mach 40. They just released a new GT like a year ago and there’s talks of another wave. This car list sucks really bad. For example, they added the R8 before the facelift from a few years ago. Then they added the NISMO but as right hand drive when all the other GTRs are left handed. They’re missing so many cars I don’t understand why they don’t just do a huge update with like 150 of the most asked for cars.

1- Los muy pendejos eliminaron los servidores online de gran turismo 6 solo para que le presten atención a esta basura >:, v
2- Toyota de tanto gran turismo y otros juegos con carreras legales por su cabeza quedaron tan pendejos que no decidieron poner sus autos en el nfs payback y en el heat por que piensan *que las carreras callejeras son malas* y que hay de sus autos en los juegos anteriores en serio están idiotas o que!?
3- Pagar un pinche DLC para conseguir autos viejos de los juegos anteriores o autos nuevos

The cars in this game sound good and the visuals are fantastic and all,but they could have just added more historic cars from the 1990s or the 80s or even the 70s but they just added tons of modern cars from the 2000s....still this game is pretty good but more historic and modern cars should be added in the game for more variety

It feels empty for those played GT1 - GT6, anyway, graphics looks good, I don't play the game, so, I can't mention the gameplay or anything from that.
Personally, I don't liked it, old NSX honda are my favourite to drive, and not seeing it, feels like... "Bruh, somebody forget the honda... and a couple more... BRUH"

Charizard237 They haven’t added Koenigsegg yet, but I stopped playing, so I could be wrong. As far as your question about the SUVs, I would presume that it’s because the game is focused towards “real racing”, which would exclude SUVs.
@@bloodshed3523 1. There are some SUVs built for racing like the range rover svr, Mercedes g65 amg, & Lamborghini Urus. 2. If SUVs aren't in gt sport then why are they in forza motorsport 7? (Aka the competitor of gt sport) 3. There's no reason why koenigsegg isn't in gt sport if forza has it.
Charizard237 I agree with you, but Polyphony probably didn’t add SUVs in the game, because they’re trying to expand their car list to 500, adding SUVs would mean they would have to add more cars. I honestly have no clue why they didn’t add SUVs.

There is single player but there are no cutscenes or something like just races against the AI but there are plenty. Also they have circuits experiences where you have to "master" a circuit so you basically have to beat a time. Also there are the liscene tests and you can do custom races against the AI + time trails. And yes there are still many cars that will be released + new tracks like Barcelona which will be released at the end of the month.

I'm kinda disappointed with the past few games. Where they've grown in realism and overall mechanics, they've cut down in cars and in my opinion replayability.

Pretty old comment but theres no way to get DLC from the Store anymore since the Servers shutdown. I think the XL Edition from GT5 has the DLC bundled to it, but i don't know if it's on the Disc or a seperate Code you have to enter in the PS Store.

And yet ZERO normal cars, Ford alone has a cornucopia of cars and trucks even that would be really cool to "drive" on a racetrack...How many people would take a Lincoln Towncar to the track and drive it at it's limit, or the Crown vic, how about the MANY years of Mustangs, and other Fords...How about Mopar? Where is the classic Plymouth's and other classic Mopars? Cadillac? Buick?
Yeah I know Forza has some I mentioned, but thats rather arcade like in comparison to GT I REALLY hope the next version of GT has all the classics we grew up with, this has NONE, and still not worth buying...It's neat but it isn't a classic game i'd LOVE unlike the old versions of this game.

1200 cars GT6 to 150 (200+) 2018 PS4 after years???? honestly, i do not even play for free. Disgust! For those who are fans of cars, Forza H4 will be launched in october and with an INITIAL list of almost 500 cars...on 4k will be a sickener, for who has XBox, of course. Gt6 had 1200 cars because it LITERALLY REUSED playstation 2 models. THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DISGUSTED AT.
These fully detailed assets can be reused further into the series for a more impressive car number without causing the same astonishing ammount of hate observed in the gt5 and 6 launches.
And FH4 has 500 cars that all sound the same.

Lenny Ibizarre - Retreat To The Forest, I have checked all the OST and this one is the closest one that I could found, for some reason it sounds different to me.
Less cars, for me gt6 is much better, it has a lot of car varian, from the old to new, slow to fast car, sometime i like to fun race with honda fit, or make a sleeper car wanna be using mitsubishi galant vr4 and race against ferrari or fast looking car and win, so much fun, i played gt6 for almost 3 years until today and never get bored
I completely agree with you...but you should check the car list now for 2020. A LOT of cars have been added in free updates.
