I hear what’s your saying however why is it I need to bolus each and every time before I eat? According to what you’re saying it does it automatically! I’m on 780G and it does not do this! Can you help me with this question?

Hi, Marie. Taking a bolus 15 - 20 minutes before a meal helps to keep blood sugar levels under control after eating.

I suggest you read the Medtronic Advertising on this specifically! I’ve spoken directly to Medtronic already on this issue!

You responded to my question and I appreciate that! However I do take a bolus 15-20 mins before I eat . This is not what Medtronic advertises it tells people basically the 780g pump does it automatically which is profound lie in my view!! Tell your patients the truth this is how I got lured into upgrading to the 780G! Honesty has gone out the window!

Meal Detection technology if for when your carb counts aren’t exact or if you occasionally miss a meal dose, and then the system automatically delivers a correction dose. We will share this feedback with our team, Marie.

I wish Medtronic would stop talking nonsense about Sensor 4 and get the Simplera out to patients asap!
My Sensor 4 never lasts 5 days and I’m truly sick of this. When will the Simplera be available to patients??

Hi, Marie, the planned next-generation CGM for use with the advanced algorithm in our MiniMed insulin pumps has been submitted to the FDA. We'll share updates with customers on our channels when we receive an update. If you require additional assistance, our technical support team would love to see how they can help and can be reached at 800.646.4633 option #1.
