Great tips! Always embarassing to serve a spotty glass to a guest and dishwasher additives always give me pause. This seems safe and easy. Also, not sure if it's a recording tech update or a new hairstyle or just having an extra good day but the outfit (sharp!) and the whole vibe of this video was great!

What detergent/ cleaner do you suggest to prevent cloudy glasses? I’ve heard that dishwashing detergent causes cloudiness. Thank you 😊

Check your rinse agent. I have hard water and rinse agent makes a big difference. For cloudy glasses ive used vinegar and CLR SEPARATELY. Soak your glasses in either solutions and wash with warm soapy water.

Thanks for sharing! Do you have any tips for removing the stubborn wine stains that build up right at the bottom of your glass over time? Thus far I haven’t found a reliable means of getting those out; I can only prevent them in new glasses by thoroughly washing after each use

We used to offer with lines, but we had a lot of people who preferred the "clean no lines" look. still, I get you, this is a must have for a wine bar. One thing we used to do at my restaurant was have a "dummy glass" with beans in it at the proper fill line, and that was used to line up against a ready glass. Hope this helps. Serving proper portions is important.

Baking soda and water wash followed by air drying or a lint-free cloth.

Any advise to people with short and broad fingers? For Gabriel Glas, it's impossible to put index~pinky into the bowl, but index~ring fingers aren't long enough to reach the bottom of the bowl...

I just got these in the mail today and my glassware has never looked better!!! Just one question, what is the best way to wash these cloths?

The "best way" to launder lint free or linen is with cold water. No bleach, no fabric softener and no dryer sheets. Do not dry completely, they should be hung up and air dried until dry. But that should be on the tag though.
Sadly, where I live, restaurants are not allowed to polish cutlery and glassware anymore. Only if you use a fresh towel for every glass. So, this is great information for the home. I inherited a linen closet worth of towels from Mum, Aunties and Nanas. My friends that visit my home bar always tease me for cleaning their glasses and polishing them before I serve them. The girls love it though.

I was just dealing with this yesterday. I cleaned and dried my wine glasses with in microfiber cloth before going to Los Olivos. My friends glass was perfect. Mine however still had a spot. I need to watch this video over and over until I get it right. Or watch soap opera commercials.

Alternatively, those spots disappear most efficiently by urinating on them. I am told, the drink is healthy 🙂
