In the 60s and 70s women were making all kinds of pretty handmade things . Im glad tovsee this trend coming back. Its so much fun watching and then seeing the final product. 🌺🌲🌺
At least in America, the feminine arts have always existed, and many times out of necessity. Rural and working class people have no choice but to embroider something onto a patch that covers a hole in a piece of clothing or blanket...to make it look decent and usable. It has become something of amusement and entertainment for larping city folk to do the same (but weirdly lacking utilitarian sensibly).
@@RunninUpThatHillh What a strange sentiment - gatekeeping hobbies. They are both an art form, a hobby, and can be used for neccesary purposes. I am not a "city folk" but I certainly don't believe in gatekeeping hobbies.

I understand what you mean I agree but you may be attacked unnecessarily for wording things without thinking I’m sure you meant people when you say women because then and now people made and make pretty things most of the famous artists during the time were male remember. Sometimes I feel that’s because women artists were probably written out of history but this comment wasn’t meant for a debate. I feel gatekeeping wasn’t ❤in your intentention. I wish we could use the comments for nice compliments to the artists as you were trying to do. I’m trying to say I hear you and agree I’m glad we’re All able to find joy in making and watching others and learning how to make the world beautiful. Including ❤making it beautiful by loving each other. I make the worse pie crust known to man so I’m also glad I’m able to buy frozen pie crust because no one especially my family deserves to break there teeth even though we have better dental care then back then.

Don’t we have enough that divides us color, sex, sexual orientation, class of living, religion, don’t we so the city folk country folk now! People who uses big words to blame others for there own unhappiness shouldn’t have the power to divide us. I’m from the country and I am working class the city folk comment was racist and breeds hate and vulgarity! If I was rich I’d still deserve to learn to make because everyone in life rich or poor black brown pink spotted or calico or even white deserve not to be judged for simply enjoying watching others make or learning how to make the world more beautiful. The artist in this video wants us to love each other I assume not hate. I’m sorry please know if I lived in the city I would still embroider a patch and make my own food because I couldn’t afford to buy all the beautiful in my life and because I would still have to create something everyday if by chance I became wealthy I’d still make apple pie or embroider it’s better then buying it from the dollar tree caving in to hyper-consumerism.
i live in a small town in southern italy, and growing up i always heard people wanting to go away from it and live in bigger cities, but ive always found peace in this place. there is a beautiful natural beach, a library, some shops, a couple of churches, a train station, and barely any cars. its so small that i cant even orded food online lol. but i love this place so much, it feels magical and fits the kind of lifestyle i want perfectly. i hope that i will still live here when i grow up.
No stay in your small town, no one is friendly in the cities, and you have better food and wildlife around you!
I can see how most people might find that monotonous. Like your village sounds lovely and I would love visit for a month or 2 but staying there for a lifetime can be difficult. Staying anywhere for a lifetime sounds boring to me. Besides there's nothing wrong with going on an adventure and exploring the cities.

Hello love! I just stumbled upon this beautiful video and knew I must watch! I think your pie turned out simply wonderful! I grew up watching my mom bake pies and now I have been making them myself for some time now. One tip my mom always taught me (because I always fretted over how messy my pies looked compared to hers😊) was that it doesn't matter if the crust tears or cracks, you can just fill it right in with the extra bits of dough you have and no one will be the wiser. Plus, no one will care how it looks as long as it tastes good. And she was right! I have never once heard someone comment on how my pie looked (unless it was something like: Wow that looks good! Can't wait to eat that!😁). Even the first one I ever made (which was really a mess😅) Now that I have had practice, my pies do look better than they did when I first started. One other tip I would offer is to get a rolling mat. It makes it really easy to know how far to roll out the dough and also makes it easier to transfer pie crust into the pan. I would recommend a round one, and not too big. I tried a big square one once and it was quite cumbersome to use. Thanks for the lovely video! Happy baking!❤
