We call 'em "click whores". Many of us have learned since 2016 to pay no attention to polls on anything but policy, and many of us don't respond at all when contacted re polling/trolling candidates. cheers.

Thank you Jonathon Capehart for an excellent discussion! I whole-heartedly agree that the Democrats need to stop fussing on Biden's age and poor debate performance and do all that they can to defeat Trump. And I agree with Jennifer Rubin that the free press should stop being in it for the "clicks" and instead focus on the real danger that another Trump presidency, combined with Project 2025, would pose to our democracy and to the world if he's re-elected. Vote Biden/Harris 2024 💙 Defeat Trump, MAGA, and Project 2025!
No Kamala coronation, please. What an unfortunate, shortsighted idea. Let her earn the nomination, if she can. There is a rich bench of good to great potential candidates who could actually excite the voters. Do you really want a repeat of the Hubert Humphrey fiasco? Like Kamala, he was the VP too.
