Thanks for the help with removing the headlight pod. I was just trying to figure out how to remove mine and didnt realize they flipped backwards to expose the bolt. All back together now. Also the LED upgrade is very worth it.
I've been talking to PNM in the UK. Given what I would need to spend to just get back to the standard Lotus config, it makes sense to spend a bit more and go for the upgrade....so that should be happening soon.
The "Soup Classic Motoring" channel has a series on a Lotus Esprit S2 that he's restoring. It's taken him years so far, and he's still working on the chassis! Nice stop motion video style as well. very relaxing to watch.
@@ianhaylock7409 I watch that series. Great idea using stop motion!…but I have enough trouble putting out 1 video a month. Don’t know where he finds the time.
Definitely will go LED when the time comes. I was thankfully able to find replacements. Hopefully I can do so with all the other parts I will need as well.
I've never worked, owned or drove a lotus before. But I'm still watching this video
Once it’s done, swing by and take it for a spin.
@@Rick_D thanks for the offer bud but I'm in the UK. It would have to be a rather big swing. Keep up the good work

We need more Esprit videos!
Me too. Hopefully soon

@@ianhaylock7409 I do watch that channel. That guy is amazing. I can't imagine how much extra time it takes him to create and edit those videos.

Take an opportunity and upgrade to LEDs (I got mine from Amazon). Are those rusted parts still available from JAE or SJ?
