Well done on those lights. I had those same PNM LEDs fitted to my Esprit a couple of years ago and i haven’t looked back. Because i can now see forwards.
I started to do mine this weekend just passed. I watched your video again. It helped a lot. I had to remove a lot of material just to get the lamps to sit in the pods. On my car I’ve got carbon fibre bezels to install too. I had to cut off the two lower right fixing points in each lighht and put a threaded bar close to the light itself. I ran out of time but I’ll continue soon. I really like your channel and your humour 😂
Nothing but nitty gritty. I appreciate this style of channel this 1s useful. I'm "privately" restoring my 78 eclat They say there's only 100 left in the USA but Idk
Great videos for us doing the same. Removing the body is a chore, but the feeling of seeing it removed it very rewarding. When I removed mine I just stared at it in awe for quite few minutes.
@@Rick_D I am stuck on being in the queue with my painter. I hope to get back at it soon. I will paint some things, but a job like I want for the body requires someone more of an artist with a lot experience in multi stage painting. Patience is key for sure in projects like these plus the work itself is a lot of fun when it comes down to it. I look forward to watching your continued progress!
Looking good. Do you know if you can use a wiper motor in place of the headlight motor? They can be tricky to get hold of. I’ll need to do something similar to myself, thanks for covering this :)
I don't know if they can interchange but the pod motors are readily available from the big suppliers or off Ebay. You should be able to pickup a motor for $150 or so. Good luck!

Thanks. I've used your videos for encouragement!
