Those aren't Giant bluefin. Giant bluefin are 600lb plus...
your right but they will grow up they are getting bigger and bigger every year When we leave the dock we are hoping for giants : )
You kind of look like Jeffrey Epstein
when I was younger it was John Travolta and Joe Nameth
Reminds me of my long range trips getting hooked up to my biggest yellowfin tuna 262lbs over 3 hours fighting that fish. I thank the independence crew that day for helping get that fish on the deck.
great fish I hope to get a giant one of these trips Tight Lines
Others asking about which jigs worked: Nomad Streakers (300+ grams), Mustad Rip-Rollers (300+ grams)and the SK jigs (250 grams). Just about any variety of colors and patterns with those are A-Ok. Reccomend line class: 80# and up!
Cold Sniper also is a good Jig
Where's part 2?
coming soon 1 or 2 days
Had a great time with Cousin Jimbo and fellow passengers on that Producer trip during Memorial Day weekend. Felt fortunate to bag one @ the bottom of the 9th before we headed back to Pt. Loma. Capt. Frank & the crew worked hard all the way to the finish line. Bring on Part 2!
Just finishing Part 2 and there will be a Part 3 That was a great trip what a finish Tight Lines
I got lucky and caught a 110lb bluefin on my 50lb line set up yesterday on the Tribute.
that's not luck that is a skilled angler tight lines Cousin Jim
What kind of jigs were they using?? Can’t wait for part two
120-300 gm flat falls and 200-300 gm knife jigs
How much do they charge to clean/fillet the tuna?
I just used best processing in San Diego it was $1.30 per pound 1# portions shrink wrapped and frozen
Another great video.
thanks
Can’t wait for part 2.
Here it comes! Tight Lines
Good to see you cousin Jim!

Good trip, wish we would have boated a fish on the first night. Got a bite, but just couldn't convert...great meeting you. Have fun in Florida! -Judd

Going out on the producer in two weeks can't wait ! Thank you somuch for your videos/information.

Awesome video and catch fellas! Pablo what rail rod were you using?
I talked to him as we got on the boat and his rod was an Okuma PCH Tight Lines Cousin Jim
@@cousinjim1 Negative was not using the pch to pull in that bf! He was using the Baja beast (green w blk) but wanted to know the ratings on that rod
@@BassinWCoast sorry I do not have that info
American Spirit Baja Beast, XXH 7'6 80-130lb
@@kaijuexpress1990 Thanks man been eyeballing it the last 2 days. Did you get to try out the 60-100 version and if so which would you go with for these bf?
If you can’t feel your bait moving it’s likely wrapped around someon
or your jig is picked up by a tuna Tight Lines
@@cousinjim1 yeah I thought of that so I made sure to say likely and not 100% but awesome video I can’t wait to get on some this year
@@bradmmorton the other your bait stopped swimming thats why you change it after a minute or so :)
Great video boss
Glad you enjoyed Tight Lines Cousin Jim
